I was in Pulsaski, Tennessee and marched in the White Pride March.
It is largely a Klan march, though there are no robes. But what matters to me is that its theme is White Pride, and it featured flags from white countries.
I am proud to be white.
Naturally all the professional right-wingers screamed bloody murder against it.
How dare I march with the Klan?
Because that’s the only White Pride March there is.
If any conservative ever has the cajones to march for White Pride, I’ll be right there.

Speaking of conservatives, President Bush’s website tells why he is right for Blacks, East Asians, Indians [falsely called ‘Hispanics’] and Jews, but not for Whites. One would think Whites might feel excluded from the Bush campaign, but for some reason our People constitute most of his supporters. Go figure.

It is only a short step from here to thinking that Whites actually have the right to exist, not be racial masochists, and ought to band together to promote their own interests. Plus be proud to boot.
Do you understand how much this would injure the psyche of non-whites? Who ever heard of a White not apologizing for his Race? Unthinkable!
For those of you who realize how wrong Bob is about this, I have available tee shirts which have a bull’s-eye on back and underneath it says “Shoot me Here.” These convey I believe the proper attitude.

I maybe agree with Bob about 70% of the time which is actually about as high as it gets with anyone. BUT, I don’t have white pride – I’m glad that I’m white but it is simply a natural thing for me to be white first since I grew up in a segregated world. It is of course and natural and I simply do not think “pride” which is something that comes before the fall? Pulaski is where a lawyer and printer formed the KKK as a social org for war veterans, but the Unionists in Tenn and all over the South were still waging a war against the Confederates, so a man like Bedford Forrest who believed in fighting fire with fire, was called upon to lead – I have never heard anyone descibe Forrest as “amusing”. He had a sense of humor, but he had a controlled temper that he used to motivate himself.

What does proud mean here:
proud:
1. Feeling pleasurable satisfaction over an act, a possession, a quality, or a relationship by which one measures one’s stature or self-worth: proud of one’s child; proud to serve one’s country.
3. Feeling or showing justifiable self-respect.
4. Filled with or showing excessive self-esteem.
Conversly, an antonym of proud is given as
humble:
1. Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful.
2. Showing deferential or submissive respect: a humble apology.

Does pride go before a fall? Will the meek inherit the earth?
I will let you decide that, but I once remember a sign in front of a church which said: “If you are on your knees, you cannot fall.” Right or wrong, this is what popped into my head: “If you are on your knees, you have already fallen.”
Finally, to declare oneself a “Chosen One” surely seems to me the height of arrogance. And one of the listed meanings of arrogance is overbearing pride.

i think more of what he is talking about is white heritage. i’m proud to be white but in white i mean part irish, part german, part english. let’s face it, the different ethnicities in me built this country and that’s not overbearing pride, that’s the facts. why would you deny the roots of your soul, to do so is to deny your own identity. our forefathers make up my indentity, dixie and her soldiers make up my identity, and the greatest country/state of all, Texas has made my identity. all of which have been governed by, well yes, whites. now to the histroy buffs, i’m talking about post mexican-american war for Texas. i’m proud to say that even today, the white people are the most prosperous people on the planet, why, because of our past, we have evolved from it because we have never forgot it. the past is the most important thing we own, infact, it is the only thing we own. when i read about our history and all the accomplishments we have made through the many years and many countries, i’m proud to be white.

In Memphis after the war, the Klan rode one night to a black neighborhood. The Klansmen were fully robed as well as their horses and the hooves were wrapped to provide an eerie sound. One of the Klansmen dismounted and strode to a well where a black man was drawing water and he demanded a drink -he dispatched the whole buket in a long gulp – he said that that was the best drink that he had since he died at Shiloh.

I have an idea. Why not have a RACIAL SEPARATIST MARCH with members of any race being able to participate? Somehow it would seem to crystalize our position. By separatist, I mean separate statehood and self-rule.
