Is it the People or It the System?

Posted by Bob on March 13th, 2005 under How Things Work

Eric Hoffer lived through the Depression, and he was deeply impressed by the fact that you could give a bunch of Americans a task to perform all by themselves, like building a road in the mountains and they could do the whole job themselves, including setting up rules to get along with each other.

But this was the generation of Americans the ones who call themselves The Greatest Generation.

The group that calls itself The Greatest Generation was Obedience Trained. They learned to obey, to believe the Authorities. They learned that The System is everything.

Since the group that calls itself The Greatest generation took over, we all believe that it is Rules, the System, that makes everything possible. White countries are rich because they happen to have had a Culture, a System, that everybody else can learn.

Respectable conservatives say that if we take all the whites out of America, dump in three hundred million Africans, keep Christianity and the Constitution and Free Enterprise and the English Language, and nothing would change.

In other words, lawyers, preachers and professors say that the white race doesn’t matter. All that matters, they tell us, is lawyers, preachers and professors.

Respectable cosnervatives agree. They say that any change in their doctrines, which they call the System or the Culture or the Traditions, will destroy “what America is all about.”

As Jefferson said, white people need regular total revolutions. The best thing that ever happened to the German economy was its total destruction in World War II. Germany came roaring back to levels earlier Germans would not have dreamed of.

Hitler’s Blood and Soil slogan is exactly wrong. Whites are a moving people. We take new soil and build anew. We came from the Indo-European homeland, wherever it was, into Europe and over to America. And at each stage we used what we wanted and dumped the rest.

Today a conservative is a moron because we have nothing to conserve.

The Blood and Soil movement was no mere static confinement to locality.

    It was a dynamic agrarianism.

Yes, there was a mystical pride of place, just as anyone who has lived for generations across four hundred years in the South would understand. For the Germans, these roots stretched back thousands of years yonder past the dawn of history. Imagine walking over soil that you knew a forefather had walked three thousand years ago. Such mystical realization is not a static fixation to the exact same locality; it is a dynamic love of the land and its fruits.

Read “The Life and Death of Cousin Lucius” in I’ll Take My Stand for an inkling of what Blut und Boden meant.

Better yet, read Knut Hamsun’s Pan.

By the way, the slogan was not new. The term traces back to the dawn of the Middle Ages. In English, the phrase is “land and lede” (land and race), indicating the special and dynamic relationship a healthy people must have with the land’s wholeness. The Arthur and Merlin legends cover this. Try taking a close look into Mallory’s Morte d’Arthur for a modest start. The mystical idea may be hard to put into words for a person living in an upper floor of an urban apartment building to understand, but anyone who has done a little landscaping, lake swimming, surfing, farming, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and climbing knows exactly what this means.

Humans were meant to have a close relationship with Nature. This is Blut und Boden — land and lede.

RE: Bob’s: As Jefferson said, white people need regular total revolutions. The best thing that ever happened to the German economy was its total destruction in World War II. Germany came roaring back to levels earlier Germans would not have dreamed of.

Revolution? – NOT – you’ve covered this elsewhere:

BW: No male of any species is ever satisfied. No male of any species is ever fulfilled. No male of any species is “happy.”
H.S.: Is there ever an end to taking dominion? A moment’s satisfaction is fleeting, and with that the bar is raised and achievement is in view once again – restlessness for moving on.
BW: For a white man there is never an end to taking dominion. That is the nature, the tragedy, the glory of being a white man.

RE: Peter’s: The mystical idea may be hard to put into words for a person living in an upper floor of an urban apartment building to understand, but anyone who has done a little landscaping, lake swimming, surfing, farming, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and climbing knows exactly what this means.

Whose image is on us, and how consistently truth will always square with the designer and the owner’s manual.

“…what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” …. “who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness….” 20-21

Mystical? Yes, you could use that term: “a: having a spiritual meaning or reality that is neither apparent to the senses nor obvious to the intelligence [the mystical food of the sacrament] b: involving or having the nature of an individual’s direct subjective communion with God or ultimate reality.” –Merriam-Webster’s
