Know How Much You Know

Posted by Bob on April 12th, 2005 under How Things Work

A non-racist once made a very perceptive remark to me. He said:

“The racists I know come in two types. They are very, very ignorant or they are the smartest people I have ever met.”

This was in the course of saying I was one of the smartest people he had ever met, but my opinions were not the ones “smart people” were supposed to have.

What he called “ignorant” described the sort of people I feel comfortable with. They are working people whose minds are not cluttered with fashionable nonsense. So they have no problem saying they don’t know and they are willing to listen to sense.

From the Yuppie point of view, they are hopeless yokels.

From my point of view, the Yuppies have all the intellectual capacity of a brick wall, while those “ignorant yokels” are real people.

What makes me feel good about this concept that people who are worried about the white race are either quote ignorant unquote or brilliant is because it reminds me of Jesus.

Jesus confounded the High Priests with his brilliance when He was about twelve years old. Then He gave up on the Old Testament scholars and went out and talked to the “ignorant” and the sinners.

I keep realizing that everything I think of Jesus already did and said better.

Jesus is welcome to the patent. I just want to use the produce He produced.

ig-no-rant (ignr-nt)adj. 1. Lacking education or knowledge. 2. Showing or arising from a lack of education or knowledge: an ignorant mistake. 3. Unaware or uninformed.

    ———————————————————
smart 1. Characterized by sharp, quick thought; bright. See Synonyms at intelligent. Amusingly clever; witty:

    ———————————————————
stupid 1. Slow to learn or understand; obtuse. 2. Lacking or marked by a lack of intelligence

I would like to distinguish between ignorance and stupidity. For example, when it comes to cooking I am certainly ignorant. In addition, let’s throw intellectual honesty into the mix. For example, Bob has often reminded us of someone – the author of a book about twins on the Donahue Show, for example – who says things we well know he does not believe, not because if ignorance or stupidity, but merely because of intellectual dishonesty. Better to lie than be politically incorrect.
Finally, let’s add common sense to the recipe.

Where does the standard “social scientest” fit it. Perhaps not stupid, certainly intellectually
dishonest, most likely without much common sense. I have a neighbor who might be described as a simple man. If I had to be in the wilderness in a survival context with him or a “social scientest”, whom do you think I would be better off with?

Thomas Edison once described himself as the “zero” of mathematics.

Finally, if you are intellectually dishonest, ignorant, and have no common sense, you might want to consider running for president.

Jesus confounded the High Priests with his brilliance when He was about twelve years old. Then He gave up on the Old Testament scholars and went out and talked to the “ignorant” and the sinners.

It is hard for someone who has spent a lifetime learning erroneous information to give it up, otherwise they would have to admit to wasting all of that time.

It seems that the more sophisticated, complex, learned, knowledgeable, etc. one is, the harder to grasp the simple truth of the message of Jesus. The ‘rabble who knew nothing of the law’ in Jesus’ day were the ones who felt the most pain from the religion of the day. They didn’t have a chance in the eyes of God according to ‘the law.’ Doesn’t leave much hope for anything when you are surely condemned from day one. That’s why they were so joyous at the ‘good news.’

Fast forward 2000 years and we have a similar situation. An intolerant, hypocritical religion that teaches us to submit to our authorities as they have been ‘appointed by God’, a herd of educated adherents backing it up, and the masses of us dogs out here in the fields who have too much sense to accept it, but still suffer the consequences of being outcasts.

Jesus is welcome to the patent. I just want to use the produce He produced.

    The fields are surely ripe!

God HELP US… the man is right. But not because he should be. He just is. Government-R-Us. Democracy = Mob Rule by the one most like the mob itself. But, they’ll behead him too.

“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.”
    –Jesus

The only real responsibility we have is to be sure we know and understand His rules and are actually “outcasts” because we DO and THINK right. That we (I) are (am) not suffering for our (my) own “ignorant, intolerant, hypocritical” selves. That keeps me too busy to spend a lot of time whining about very many others. As a Christian who believes G.W. Bush is one of the biggest fake, anti-American leaders we have ever seen, “outcast” is exactly the right word.

I would agree that most of the people, the Average Joe, I’ve met at bars, work, or in everyday life might meet this profile. However, a huge number of people associated with the pro-white “Movement”, many of them very intelligent, have minds that are cluttered with all kinds of nonsense. From nazism to Christian Identity, they are all Pod People and being such, should be rocketed back into outer space from whence they came. It’s time to return to good ol’ fashioned Grandpa’s “racism”, not this skinhead Hitler worship crapola.

    I didn’t know that!
