Thanks, Mark and Especially Peter

Peter, bless him, actually REPEATED Bob’s Mantra.

It doesn’t do any good to talk AROUND it. It doesn’t do any good if you say, “Well, that was included in my message.”

A weapon is useful if you aim THAT WEAPON and you aim it AT the enemy.

When the English found that the long bow worked, they didn’t say, “Well, we have some stuff on the same principle.” They just kept using the long bow. They kept shooting the clothyard arrows AT the enemy.

Many a time the enemy wished they could just say, “You are really getting unspophistcated. You’re getting repetitious.” If the English had been respectable conservative or the average Stormfronter, tehy would have been ashamed of themselves and started trying other weapons.

But the bow and arrow worked, so they just kept on using it.

When you have good weapon and your race is on the line, it is VERY frustrating when people refuse to USE it.

Mark’s right. By the way, your drumbeat is getting clearer, if that is possible. The ninnies are improving your game.

The President’s Token Child

The two Democratic presidents elected since 1964 share the Confederate Rule.

They share something else: the Token Child.

Carter and Clinton each had one daughter.

This was critical. Hillary wrote “It Takes a Village” and she has been a professionaql advisor on motherhood and children’s right from the word go.

I have forgotten everybody’s first names, but the Carters wanted to be a plain couple from Plains, Georgia, and the image would have been hard to maintain if they hadn’t had their one girl.

Carter made it clear that HIS daughter was going to go the Washington, DC public schools.

I remember driving by a public school in DC where a single little blond girl was standing there at recess between two men standing beside her in coats and ties. I do not know whether that was Amy (?) Carter, the Carters’ token daughter, but I can’t imagine who else it could have been.

She didn’t look like she was having much fun.

The Carter’s token daughter ended up being a nutcase (takes one to know one, you know). She became one of the maybe two girls in America who for years dyed her blond hair black and I haven’t heard of her since.

But she served her purpose.

The Clinton’s token child seems to have come out all right, though I have no special info on her. Last I heard she was living the high life that her father’s friends bring but, praise the girl, she hasn’t slid into drugs or anything.

I believe she’s blond, too, b ut she hasn’t dyed her hair.

So if the Democrats are looking for a winner next time, they need a candidate from the Old Confederacy who has the required one child.

Hillary is a senator from New York.

Headline Clones

As I explained below, the only Democrats who actually WON an election since 1944 were from the Old Confederacy.

But the last two were so much alike that I STILL say “Carter” when I mean Clinton and vice-versa.

I think in electoral terms. To those who live by the daily headlines Clinton and Carter are very different. To someone who lives in historical tersm, as I do, they are the same phenomenon.

To a person who kept up with the news from 1877 to 1901, Presidents Hayes, Garflied, Athur, Harrison and McKinley were entirely different people. To me they were all standard Republican hacks from the Midwest.

History seems to confirm my judgement.

If you live in a world of frantic e-mails you totally overlook the sober realities.

The Other Stupid Party

The Democrats have only elected three presidents since 1960, and very few people disagree that, even with the help of Lyndon Johnson getting Southern votes, Mayor Daily had to steal the 1960 election for Kennedy.

Harry Truman had Confederate ancestors and his running mate was from Kentucky.

So no Northern president has gotten elected president on the Democratic ticket since 1944!

Over sixty years!

Since Johnson’s election in 1964, a mere forty years or so, two Democrats have been elected president.

Both were from the Old Confederacy.

So the Democrats keep nominating presidential candidates from Massachusetts and the Canadian border.

The only two Democratic presidents elected since 1964 were from the Old Confederacy. Everybody thought Clinton was being absurd when he shose a running mate from another Old Confederate state.

When it comes to politics, Clinton is anything but absurd. In 1992 he saw the Old Confederacy Rule and went for it big time.

None of the professional commentators had even noticed it.

They still haven’t.

If Bush, Junior had not had a Texas accent, Gore would have been elected in 2000.

Where else are you going to read that but Bob’s Blog?
