Reading O’Reilly

Posted by Bob on June 5th, 2006 under How Things Work, Musings about Life

I used to watch O’Reilly all the time. Now I haven’t watched him in a year or so.

First, there was his attempt to prove he was not a racist by his lead “exposure” that some white kids in Georgia held their own senior prom.

Long before somebody put the label “interrogrator” on it, I had common sense. So I can always tell what kind of response O’Reilly got from his fans. He is energetic when he is on a story that his viewers like. He looks like a stormcloud when he gets heavy flak from his own people.

When he did a commentary on that Great Expose the next week, he looked like a hurricane in a bad mood. He read a couple of the attacks on him for attacking these teenagers.

“There’s all black, why not all white?”

“You really HATE the South, don’t you?”

And so on.

I finally quit watching, though, when O’Reilly became sort of a bad-tempered old school marm. All he talked about was Catholic mores, how if you don’t drink alcohol the way heroes like him don’t you won’t be alcoholics, and a list of similar bitches I simply cannot remember.

He also sticks carefully to pet guests.

If a liberal is willing to go on his show, O’Reilly is the perfect respectable conservative.

The week after he spent his whole time yelling at David Duke and David still managed to destroy everything he said, he came on like a stormcloud.

Against the NATIONALLY Accepted Villain of both Poltiical Correctness and respectable cosnervatism, he got slammed by his viewers. I don’t think he read one single comment.

I haven’t checked, but I assume that O’Reilly is still just a bad-tempered version of Larry King.

“First, there was his attempt to prove he was not a racist by his lead “exposure” that some white kids in Georgia held their own senior prom.”

The day he did his piece on the T.V. Factor he tested it on the Radio Factor. A woman from California called in and told him this was going in southern California as well — only the kicker was it was an ALL LATINO senior prom where whites were not allowed. O’Reilly was caught blindsided and stuttered and stammered that he would check this out and do a piece on it — which he never did, of course.

Only someone like me remembers the incident (don’t I sound like Bob?).

I have watched this O’Reilly fellow for perhaps three or four shows. I find him lightwork. In terms of argumentation and case presentation it is easy for me to imagine him no match for the likes of David Duke. I find O’Reilly to be a liar. On a continuing basis. Like Hannity and Savage and Limbaugh. I’m sure there are many others like him that I don’t even know but one of the major things that always bugs me is the contention of these liars that they are going to have a debate with someone and the last thing that happens is that there is a debate. What they call a debate is not a debate at all. O’Reilly is a disgrace to Ireland and to his race. Fair and balanced? Not in a million years! I can’t stand to hear the sound of O’Reilly’s lying voice! Listening to O’Reilly ought to constitute cruel and unusual punishment. O’Reilly disgusts me. In my opinion, he can’t possibly not know that he is lying on a continuing basis.

OReilly is getting more radical on his radio show. I believe he is trying to jump on a trend. He was actually commenting on Tom Metzgers Newspaper “The Insurgent” right on his radio show. In case you don’t know, Tom Metzgerss newspaper is as radical and seditious and as RACIST as anything that could be imagined. I was shocked when I heard OReilly mentioned it directly. Another buddy of mine listens to OReilly on the radio. He has stated repeatedly that OReilly is starting to rip off Racist stuff for his radio show from Metzger and Duke etc. I did not believe him until recently. But now Billy is coming to the right. He is sees the trend very clearly. Maybe Duke was a catalyst?? Billy O got torched a couple times back in the day on Immigration as well.

BW, you can spot a sell out a mile away. We Irish call him Oirish. He is a Plastic Paddy. The Devil himself hates a Plastic Paddy—-they smell funny when they burn. As you pointed out —he makes for a good thermometer to see how ‘racists’ his viewers are at any moment.

Also, consider this a formal protest on this “EuroAmerican” nonsense. I am White. I have never been attacked (literally not verbally) for being Irish or European —I have been attacked for being WHITE!! European American sounds like something the “respectable conservatives” came up with so that we can start to fight for our little rights. I am just White. There are a lot of people in the World that are white. They are not all from Europe. I grew up near Lebanese Christians that are 100% White with blood tests to prove it. They are not technically Euro-Americans —but they sure as hell are WHITE (everyone always assume they are Italian –they have a Mediterranean look)!

White is White is White. Lets not fall back into dividing us over artificial nonsense. EuroAmerican sounds like Wordism to me. Lets just be White —that is SIMPLE and EASY! White needs no explanation.

I hadn’t seen O’Reilly’s show until a couple of months ago when he had Michelle Malkin on.

Apparently, her new book is about how RACIST liberals are and how as a Asian female she feels much more comfortable surrounded by anti-racist Republican stallions like old Billy boy.

It was pretty funny to watch.

I think that his show is more of a comedy than anything else.

He just isn’t aware of it because he’s a giant turd.
