The only reason that Leftists think that the Holocaust was “Uniquely Evil” is this: they do not realize that the Soviets and the Red Chinese had similar concentration camps, and were atleast as fiendish and savage about how they had captured, tortured, and killed their victims. Leftists probably assumed that Soviet Russia and Red China really were places where everyone was equal and shared everything.

They say it’s “Uniquely evil” or a “singularity” because there has never been such a large scale, industrialized attempt at genocide in history.
But if all people are completely equal, and there are no races, the term genocide, which refers to “the systematic and planned extermination of an entire national, racial, political, or ethnic group”, should be meainingless.
But as we are becoming inceasingly aware with the action in the Middle East, “One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.” (Rabbi Yaacov Perrin, Feb. 27, 1994)
That makes Hitler sound moderate. I guess a different set of rules apply for Jews.
I just searched for stuff on ‘The Uniquely Evil Singularity’ and came up with an article on Historikerstreit [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historikerstreit ] which was an intellectual and political controversy in West Germany about the way the Holocaust should be treated in history. They point out some of your arguments in the Issues section. I guess that makes Bob an apologist for fascism, as Ernst Nolte.

You probably have a point. Who knows what would have happened to the interned Japanese, if the US was firebombed by Imperial Japan? Besides, the Holocaust happened during Wartime.

The US Media is very selective about what attrocities it brings up all the time. They usually bring up (1.), the Holocaust (2.), Slavery, and (3.), The Troubles, even though the Communist Worlds Holocausts cost even more people. And, you make a good point, Mr. Whitaker, the Holocaust took place during Wartime– not in peacetime.

So the Jews are waging a P.R. campaign

Jews have historically worked covertly.
Now they are shreiking “holocaust” every

In Europe, any scepticism brings a prison sentence.

I doubt that the Muslims would have had the intelligence, and ability to think, to carry out the attacks of September 11th. They are just too stupid and barbaric to have done so.
