My concerns are the future of a century from now will seem to be – from the perspective of one of the Elite – damn near a different world.

We have seen what Cultural Eugenics could do in less than forty years, with Singapore.

My concern is two areas will merge – Artificial Intelligence, and Eugenics.

These areas are compounding out in terms of growth of knowledge, and could work together to usher in a phase shift event for Mankind, at the expense of Humanity – homo superior.

Take an extra 10% increase in intelligence, and compound it over several generations.

At a certain point, certain trends become obvious, and Homo Superior will look at us as we look at pets.

I have no doubt the Chinese are working on this full tilt; even Britain has admitted to “chimera” experiments – human/animal engineering.

We of the “Limits to Growth” crowd see what they will see – there is little to no need for about ninety percent of humanity.

It will make “Brave New World” seem like Paradise Island.

If I had my schooling to do over, I would have skipped the business courses, and taken a ton of biology, because the future will be shaped by Living Systems.

And not all of them will be “human,” as we know it.

Let me repeat this – ninety percent of humanity AS WE KNOW IT will be net negatives, in Malthusian terms.

I am brutally determined that MY nephews, and THEIR Posterity, will be on the Winning Team.

By. Any. Means. Necessary.

Excellent Piece!

“A different WORLD.” Totally different TRENDS!

In an earlier piece u are talking about will happen faster than you think. You bring down one of the Absolute Inevitables of the Future, population growth.

In an earlier piece I mentioned the monumental importance of the end of the Mach 2.2 Supersonic Transport, the STT. It just didn’t catch on and died with a whimper, whereas every other major jump in civilian transportation speed had become part of the landscape. I seemed to be only one who noticed it was a hell of change when the latest Big Jump died.

Please note I did NOT predict an inevitable future in which we moved steadily back to stagecoaches I just noted that one of our most rigid Inevitables went away. On you point about populating, I remember a TV news item a generation ago when India decided to reduce her population explosion by using vasectomies.

It showed one Indian lying down in the train section to get a vasectomy. What was the Great Cultural Revolution they used to get him to do it? They gave him a small portable radio.

Maybe it is because I am so familiar with the third world, but I was always amused by the Great Sociologists and their Sophisticated Cultural Explanations of the huge families in the third world. You know, the Manhood by lots of Children stuff. Manhood by Large Families, to the extent it was true, was true because they were incapable of having anything BUT large families.

If you think whites traded off larger families for big houses and new cars and college educations, you ain’t seen nothing until you see transistor radios at work in the third world.

On Planet Earth, population GROWTH – not population yet — is dropping like a rock. That was my POINT about the future in the SST article. But commenters obsessed on the example instead of the LESSON.

“Ideology is dying, genetics is being born.” Simmons’s summation is the sort of thing we should be drawing out of these discussions of the future. AFKAN’s summary of the changeover from quantity to quality is this sort of lesson. We should be looking at TRENDS, not Popular Science-type “the latest thing” talk.

    AFKAN,

“90% of humanity will be net negatives”. You have hit on the core of the economic trends worldwide.

Why does the Democratic Party endlessly bitch about “the loss of manufacturing jobs”? In fact, America’s manufacturing output as a percentage of GDP is the same as it has been since the 1940s. America remains the manufacturing powerhouse it always has been. What has changed is that manufacturing jobs steadily decline owing to IT and robotics.

The MSM studiously ignores output statistics. It gets in the way of their advocacy of income transfers to “the net negatives”.

It is a struggle against sheer economic force and the income arithmetic that disfavors young men who only have their physical strength to sell.

That is why the institutions of slavery are in fact being reconstituted. I see it every day in the jail crews that are now doing the janitorial for any institution that can make a claim to a public purpose.

The reconstitution of slavery is a fact that is and will relentlessly and successfully be concealed.

Hardly anybody sees (and this is a worldwide phenomenon) that the advancing economy never has and never will obviate the need for the physical labor of strong young men.

Few recognize this officially and income transfer policies prevent much needed work from being accomplished. It is the real reason (leaving aside baked in the cake nonwhite squalor) so many of our neighborhoods and so much of our environment is in a mess.

But what is really happening is that economic force is overcoming politics and caste society is being hardened everywhere. This is the driving force of mainstream politics.

Political systems simply cannot deal with it, and the conflict in America is occurring under the auspices of the unaffordable demands of public employee unions occurring in an environment where the government’s game of seinorage finance is becoming long in the tooth.

Since the late 1990’s, a globalized institutional structure has sprung into being that has permanently swept all commodities into the monetary base to the shock and chagrin of the Department of the Treasury and its clients in Congress.

Every high flutin’ intellectual in the world today is saying this cannot persist (even though it has already persisted for over a decade). That tells me it will persist (despite steep and inevitable commodity price swings) and the government’s 95-year-old game of financing itself through currency depreciation is over (try explaining this to an idiot Libertarian).

Inflation is a game of making expenditures that have no return with money that doesn’t exist (how income transfers for consumption are effectuated). That game is coming to an end.

Hence jail crews and their growing janitorial services.

And yet some huge family plantings is interesting. The Duggar’s 15 successful pregnacies is stunning. Although, I very much doubt that any of their children will have 18 of their own. That’s the way of very large white families anyway.

    Afkan,

90% of humanity is useless to Homo Superior? Have you seen the Georgia Guide stones? One of the most controversial aspects of the guidestones is the “500,000,000 people on earth living in perpetual harmony with nature”.

No one knows who financed and the built the Georgia Guidestones…….but I would be willing to bet they were NOT Chinese. That is getting rid of 92% of the earth! I wonder what the 8% left will look like? Mexicans?

Someone is clearly ahead of the curve on this one. I have a feeling the chimera’s in Britain are the tip of the iceburg. I would bet there are things going on behind the scenes that would make Dr Mengele blush. And I would bet they have been going on for decades.

    in (partial) reply to Dave:

The government finance guys missed several issues, notable the creation of a digital currency by private institutions (VISA), the growth of “dark pools” and their creation of their own exchange networks (Archipelago, for example, since bought out), and – this is the most important of all, for us – the collapse of the validity of the investment ratings services, making the value of the information we have for purchasing financial instruments damn near zero.

Hence, my seeing Financial XML as coming to the rescue of the system that will take most of a decade to restructure – if we are lucky.

THIS is part and parcel of the fundamentally unforeseeable discontinuity in economic systems.

As I skimmed my old “Money and Credit” textbook, before I threw it out, I realized the ideas of electronic currency were completely alien to them.

Now, it rules the world, and only people who can spring for a Bloomberg terminal ($1500 USD/mo) can claim to be current with the system.

    So much for Joe Sixpack!

As for the need for “indentured servitude” – the polite term for “slave labor,” a la the stop loss guys in the National Guard, for another example – the intelligence required will be narrow, and pretty much task-specific.

Hence, our importing lots of marginally educable Mexicans to take the front line in urban warfare in Iraq. Note the names of the ones killed in combat – a lot of them in in “…nez.”

Good training for future duties, perhaps?

Inflation MUST come to an end, and a new economic system might well be the price paid for rectifying inflation, and a lot more poor quality information.

    New currency, anyone?

New economic system, to go with it?

You might know, incidentally, that the Supreme Court held Social Security to be a “welfare” system back in 1947 (I think), and a lot of people will be surprised when that comes to full fruition.

    in reply:
The remaining 8% – did you know the White Race is 8% of the world’s population? – will look a lot like you and I, except they will break into three groups, right out of “Brave New World”:

    (1) Alphas – the “intellectuals” of the Soviet Constitutions. Their offspring will become exponentially more intelligent, generation upon generation, once someone figures it out. Their powers will be enhanced by artificial intelligences.

    (2) Betas – managers – graduates of business adminstration courses, and skilled technicians, such as medical staff. Artificial intelligence will replace the need for a great many of them, as it is doing now in financial firms, today, and, for example, medical services, tomorrow. I was talking with some health actuaries about this twenty years ago, and they said, “You’d be surprised at how far along we are with this.”

    No, I wouldn’t.

    (3) Gammas – what we are largely importing from Mexico now, for example, but “arranged” so that the testosterone is dialed back, along with the intelligence.

Someone is clearly ahead of the curve on this one. I have a feeling the chimera’s in Britain are the tip of the iceburg. I would bet there are things going on behind the scenes that would make Dr Mengele blush. And I would bet they have been going on for decades.

    in reply:
    I could not agree more.

“It is not by accident” that this is being announced at this time.

Every other social engineer – and what are conquerors but social engineers – wanted to change people by changing their environment, which is always changing, and expensive to control for more than a short period of time.

Changing Humanity – at the genetic level – now THAT makes social engineering, well, engineering.

I’m going to tie this back to Bob’s point about the discontinuous future – now a sharply discontinuous future, in my opinion.

Bob spoke of the SST, and I recalled the work of the French economist de Jouvenal, who drew out technology curves over time with the distance a man can travel in a day being the measure of technological change.

The SST, if memory serves, came along pretty much when it should have.

That it did not make it to market (for various reasons), reminded me that, following our Apollo launches, it seemed as if some switch was turned “off,” for Western Civilization, and the resources were focused on transformation from within.

It was no longer about conquest of the Infinite Plane.

It was – and this may be projection on my part – more about transforming society, and removing the outliers from the social order.

    Just an idea…

    For now.

    AFKAN,

The MSM is all over the OTC market in commodity derivatives and the trading on the ICE exchange in London which allows investment banks and hedge funds to bypass Futures Trading Commission registration and margin requirements, so the high price of grains and oils is being blamed on unregistered commodity funds, investment banks, hedge funds, and pension funds that are “price insensitive long commodity futures”.

But what the MSM fails to report (along with the blogosphere) is that the Commerce Department has been asleep at the switch for years regarding agribusiness mergers and consolidations, and the devious way the integrated oil giants gained control of the retail spigot through spinning off their refinery operations into stand alone entities.

So now days the price fixers are let off the hook by endlessly reporting the “crack spread” (gross margin) on refined products, never mentioning that in the old days (pre-1980s) refineries where not run as profit centers by the oil majors.

The MSM and the blogoshere do not report that the investment banks are not only hugely long the commodities, they are also hugely short.

This latter fact is key to everything because it points the fact that behind the scenes the investment banks have entered the commodities business as “commercials” (producers) in a big way. This is entirely something new under the sun.

What they are really doing is running old fashioned banking trusts in restraint of trade and they are getting away with it in today’s “choose your trading jurisdiction” (and regulators) environment.

Talk about a Jew game! They whole thing is being run the way DeBeers is run. Nobody knows the locus of control and who the beneficiaries are. Is control of DeBeers somewhere within the DeBeers conglomerate or is it with its brokers? Or is it with its customers? Nobody knows and because nobody knows the regulators don’t know.

Or look at the way the London bullion exchange is run. Just who (what incredibly wealthy families) are the bullion banks agents for? Where is the locus of control? Just who benefits where these key commercial players in the gold market (the bullion banks) earn a consistent high return off the price volatility of gold and continually accumulate and hoard gold?

And who says the same game cannot be played with oil and grains?

Just think of what a cool device the OTC derivatives market is for hiding business combinations among commodities producers.

The derivatives market is the tail that has been wagging the dog in the stock market since the early 1980s. Now it is the tail that is wagging the dog in the commodities markets.

Economic professors have always said that this is impossible. That there are too many players for a successful cornering of commodities markets.

But what they don’t see is that the commodities producers have greatly restructured. They are much more consolidated and merged than they have ever been in history, especially in agribusiness, chemicals, mining and refining.

So the seemingly impossible is happening. Banking trusts are pulling strings invisibly in the background in restraint of trade in such a fashion that the Commerce Department could never catch them.

Welcome back to the 19th century.

Now the investment banks can punish the Fed for printing money. And they are (which is why the Fed isn’t printing). The way they do it is bid up the contango basis by pumping funds into the long side of the commodities market to signal the commercials to hoard (in restraint of trade), something never before possible.

This hoarding doesn’t show up in the inventory statistics because parties that have supposedly removed the product from the market are doing the hoarding. It is a big lie that is isn’t easy to hide hoarding. For example, just how much gasoline do you think agribusiness keeps in its sheds? It’s tax advantaged. It’s rising in price. Go figure.

The Fed is punished because commodities prices rise regardless of the fundamentals. The commodities producers are rewarded because the capitalized value of their holdings (in real terms) rise to more than compensate them for any currency depreciation.

The Arabs love this. Russia loves this. Brazil loves this. And the Jews running our banking system love this. And anybody on the commercial side of the commodities business loves this. The warehouse industry loves this and anybody producing containers loves this.

The value of paper currency is upheld. And if the government wants to spend, it has to spend real money or suffer very high interest rates.

Accordingly, the niggers are signaled to get off their asses and get to work if they want to eat.

    Libertarians eat your hearts out.

I don’t want this turning into a news site, but I think Dave’s post above needs the constructive critique of the kind that all abstract thinking needs les we fall into the honey trap of the storytellers.

Markets are set at the fringes, speculators and hoarders of certain commodities can take the price up or down to a certain percentage but market fundamentals control the body. Each commodity has its set of control factors as for production and storage and usage to not know them but to rely solely on abstract nostrums is to basically an investment deathwish.

That is why most “commodity hoarding” stories in the end sound like a James Bond plot than the actual plot of history, soon to be forgotten.

Anyway anyone here can share their commodity hoarding stories with me I find them hilarious and entertaining like the story of Ali Baba’s cave.

One, we are seeing investment banks as front men for the formation of cartels, not cartels in the Childish sense of fixing prices forever, but in controlling prices within certain limits; you might know EXACT what number the roulette ball will hit, but they can fix whether it is red or black.

That advantage – over people like my nephews – is all they need; they become the house, and just add more zeros to the numbers.

    in reply:
As to the crack spread, that’s just the latest game to set up the biggest bear trap of all time; remember, refineries were price regulated under FERC. Cheney deregulated them, and a new Limit To Growth appears.

And, the convenient new cult of “Environmentalism” is cited as the reason why virtually no new net refiner is coming online. Indeed, the cores of some of our oldest refineries – EXXON Baton Rogue is one, I think – date back to the Twenties…

    My God!

Why do they think all of the insurance money goes through the Bahamas in the name of “reinsurance?”

Agribusiness is a MUCH bigger business than most people realize. I did a note on food as a weapon, not just in feeding people, but in undermining the creation of local agricultural capacity, as an undergrad.

I was stunned by the sheer magnitude of the agribusiness sector; and “loosely regulated” isn’t the worwd for it.

That’s why my hope for the future of the White Race focuses in part on Russia; they have enough easy to recover water to be the damn OPEC of Europe for water. (Incidentally, don’t you wonder why the remaining White commercial farmers in Zimbabwe, and South Africa, don’t just start over in Russia? Energy, water, great soil, developed and developing distribution networks – don’t get me started…)

After all, look at our declining aquifers – much worse than the official reports are telling – where do you think sinkholes come from – and look at the wall of agribusiness investments under CAFTA.

Between them, and our agribusinesses, are millions of “useless eaters.”

At least, that’s how they Who Rule see them.

I am fascinated by the union of a digital currency and Financial XML, and the fact that, given genetic engineering, much fewer will be needed, but the Alphas must be of the first water, AND have the spark of Creativity.

I’m working on this with my nephews, and I am working incessantly.

This economic structure, as currently constituted, will collapse, and what comes out on the other side will resemble this system in only the most gross of manners.

Mass control systems – softer, and more effective – will rise in power, as we fall as a country.

As a nation – well, that’s another story altogether, if I have anything to say about it.

It is more likely that such engineering will lead to new darkies that can be contolled. The last thing the financiers of the engineering would want is supermen that would toss them out of their position. There are already a multitude of controls in place to make sure the geniuses, the Bobs, etc. never go anywhere but crazy.

The financial bosses do like their pet engineers to be bright, but they don’t want them to be particularly creative. Engineers, like accountants and other nerds, are easy to control. If they weren’t, the idiots at the top of corporations would be out of work or back where they genetically belong running boutiques, pawnshops and running from the law. More darkies like the orientals and blacks could be safely bred to do rote clerical tasks and manual labor and they would lack the creativity that naturally upsets the status order.

Now a renegade genius could come up with his own DNA stock to sell, until he faced up against the status-keepers who would fear the real threat in its existence.

    Dave,

I assure you Jews don’t like high oil prices. Some Jews who happened to be bankers or oil traders might like it. But they are in the minority. The neocons are in a panic over it and they are very jewish. Jews don’t have love for Arabs or Russians.

But I agree with you. The banking system based in dollars loves high oil prices to some extent. Oil is only priced in dollars. If Oil goes from $50-150 you can in theory dollarize (ie.print more money).

It is certainly good for Russia and for once sorta good for us. Arabs have been playing the oil game. They are looking like amateurs. The Russians are putting on a damn clinic. Anything helping Russia is at this point in time good for our race. Russians are Neocon free at the moment. When buying gas look for Russian Oil gas stations.

    in reply to Pain:

I agree the genetic engineering is aimed at both ends of the spectrum; with 90% of humanity essentially dispensable, that 8% doing the drone work, 1% being managerial, and 1% being truly Elite, certain trends seem all but obvious.

The critics of this – and, I understand the Pope just declared genetic engineering a mortal sin – will awake to a world where the finest buggy whip manufacturers lost their jobs, their careers, and their futures, to the first Ford dealer down the way – and the Arrow of Time only points one way.

I suspect the genetic enhancements will come with a wall of cultural conditioning, just to make sure the next Genghis Khan has the right framework for his plans.

I suspect that something like the Peak Oil crowd’s Die Off is on its way, one way or another. There are simply too many people on this planet, and, as long as American citizenship is birthright citizenship, they will have their women cross an invisible line to have children, and amplify their economic future by a magnitude.

Some quick thoughts along the lines of the possible future:

One, the Jews – the fathers of the Children of the Sixties – have succeeded far beyond their wildest dreams, and the Children of the Sixties are about to force America AS WE KNOW IT to commit the functional equivalent of suicide.

This is pretty much locked in.

Two, what can make it through to The Other Side will have to develop a focus that has a far longer timespan than one lifetime, and has a devotion to much more than immediate gratification.

This will reconstitute the Family in ways most of us can only imagine.

Three, while we criticize the Chinese for having a stagnant society, we must remember that they did not see their society as “stagnant.”

    No.

    It was PERFECT.

The Books had all they needed to run the system, and the meritocratic Mandarin class worked from common principles, and common understandings; sort of like the Judaics in the West, come to think of it…

And the core of the Chinese control system was filial obligations, on a scale we can scarcely imagine, defined in the Analects and refined in daily practice.

I suspect the Family will be reconstituted as the basic building block of American society on the Other Side of what is coming up.

I also know this – all of the jungle savages will do all in their power to live near the White Race, as they will have had a good look at the plans their Bronze Brothers of Aztlan have for them.

We see this in microcosm on what Univision describes as “Nueva Orleans,” where Bush recently visited the restored Mexican consulate – didn’t see anything about THAT on the Lamestream Media, did you?

    LIVE, “En Vivo,” on Univision.

The actions of the Elites mean so much, if you will just watch what they do, particularly when they think you aren’t watching.

The Faithful Colored Companions have been told, nicely if possible, and not so nicely, if necessary, that they are NOT to return to their old hometown, much less go there to look for jobs.

That has all been taken care of, in “Nueva Orleans.”

    That’s just for openers.

In the meanwhile, I see the Family as the foundation for Cultural engineering, along the lines of the Singapore model – which our own Elites already are doing among themselves.

This will have to be quite intentional – from the formation of the Families, to the education of the Children.

    More to follow.
