Dave Again

The world is of full ironies. There is no economic problem in a well-ordered society. There are bees for honey, cows for milk, and orchards for fruit. The stewardship of these is placed in competent hands for those living in the present and for those yet to be born.

The “family”, accordingly, is sustained through descent with an inheritance that grows and is not wasted or dissipated. Marriages are properly supported and capital is properly husbanded so that marriages can succeed and children are raised in security.

But this is not the reality. The reality is the dominion of criminals who see to it that dereliction is officially sanctioned and that ruin is encouraged. Hence “carnival rides”. These criminals have a vested interest in the dissipation of capital because their object is theft, not husbandry.

Look at the “Greatest Generation”, for example. We have been subject to over 65 years of the romanticizing of the violence of WW II. Even where that violence is strongly condemned, it is covered with a patina of romance, the “Holocaust” included.

But what is never confronted is the reality of the dominion of criminals and their evil for that is what WW II really was, a situation where the restraints were entirely lifted from criminals who went about committing crimes without any fear of retribution.

Have you ever heard a member of the “Greatest Generation” mention this? Or mention the fact that the lifting of the restraints upon those with a proclivity toward criminality was universal?

And those members of the” Greatest Generation” who were actually thrown into combat never honestly talked about it, not because of the horrors, but because they were fully aware of the enormity of the crimes that were committed and of their personal subordination and cowardly attitude toward those crimes and toward the criminals committing them.

They in fact recoiled at the romanticizing of the War at home. Nevertheless, it was heresy for them to mention it. They dare not, and did not.

Did Stephen Spielberg ever catch even one little sliver of that truth in his abominable portrayals of “history”?

He did not because Spielberg’s vested interest is in the sanctioning and promotion of dereliction for profit, and the encouragement of ruin, an object he shares with most of the Hollywood film industry.

But the takeaway is this: Evil is for real. Criminals are for real. They hold dominion over large swaths of life. They are widely and officially celebrated and we are forever encouraged to subordinate ourselves to them. It has always been so, and in that, nothing ever seems to change.

Dave

It is taken for granted today that for youth in the entire third world (Japan included) the most important marker for prestige, status, and opportunity is the ability to speak English.

Our MSM media ignores this phenomenon entirely.

For example, the crush of African youth from French Africa wanting into Gambia for access to English speaking Africans is so overwhelming, Gambia must strictly control access from the surrounding countries, for without the ability to speak English, the only emigration opportunity for African young people is France with its high unemployment, or Spain with its impossibility of work visas.

In India, the ability to speak English is the major class marker as it is for the Chinese (who have as difficult a time of getting proximity to English speaking people as young people in French Africa).

But my point is the unmistakable and ever increasing desperation of third world youth who will do anything to get proximity to white people and their languages. They see it both as a matter of survival and class distinction.

We are now entering a phase where nonwhites are defending their proximity to white people violently as exemplified in the anti-immigration riots (against refugees from Zimbabwe) occurring in South Africa. (Of course, nonwhite South Africans don’t perceive it as that owing to the reality of their racial segregation, but that is what is really occurring if you look at it from an economic dependence perspective.)

Meanwhile, the affluent classes throughout Asia will do anything to look more Caucasian and Black Africans will do anything to acquire mulatto children, a mark of high prestige throughout Black Africa.

Want to make money? Market an effective skin lightener in Asia. Your fortune will be assured.

None of this, not one wit of it, is reported honestly in our MSM.

It is just absurd. It really is. Meanwhile, most white Americans know none of this. They are completely ignorant.

Shari and What Jesus Was NOT Talking About

“Never lose sight of it.” Losing sight is what makes thinking all of life is a series of carnival rides does. Not merely enjoying something. And then there are Christ’s words about it not profiting to gain the whole world and losing your own soul. Not a good trade off.

— Shari

It’s interesting how profundists like me and AFKAN are more and more taking Shari’s comments as our starting point. As we say down South, That gal is about half BRIGHT.” I read her summation and it gets my brain into action.

As usual, I am not agreeing with or disagreeing with what she says. There’s too much common (What a misnomer!!) sense in what Shari says to leave any room for disagreement. Good comments provide a springboard. The above statement hit me between the eyes because it reminded me of how professional preachers use Christ’s words as a springboard for them to prove their own importance, their own detailed Biblical knowledge, and how little they read what he said and then THINK about what HE meant.

Take the Lord’s Prayer. We are told that the thing to do is to repeat it endlessly, or, as Jesus said, “Many thin they will achieve salvation by much saying.” But if you look at the context, that is exactly what he was NOT advocating.

What Jesus was saying when he recited the Lord’s Prayer was, “It is enough to call a fish a fist.” He was contrasting what one should say to God to what was being done at the Temple, where endless hours were spent praising God and talking, talking, talking.

No wonder they ended up having to crucify him. Nothing could have been as infuriating to the Temple priesthood as Jesus’s reducing all their endless chants to a simple, bare, stark petition to God for what a person needed while he DID good things. We need bread to keep us going, forgive us IF and to the extent that we do the same for others; provide as few temptations to us weak humans as you can.

One minute long. All those endless hours Temple priests made their living on meant very little.

Then there is the rich young man. How many sermons have been devoted to Jesus’s instructing the young man to give all he had to the poor? They build whole social systems and Marxist Liberation Theology on that. But what Jesus said was, “If you would be PERFECT, sell all you have, give it to the poor, and FOLLOW ME.” Listening to the average sermon you would think the last three words were never spoken.

The question Jesus was answering was NOT, “Lord, what is the ideal socioeconomic system?” The question was, “What must I do to be SAVED?” The answer was, “Follow me, and nothing else.” The man’s property was a detail, and earnest of really abandoning all and following Jesus.

Modern “Christians” intensely dislike the idea that Jesus really meant it when he said “My kingdom is not of this world.” One of the perversions that have destroyed the “Christian” right has been their turning him into a fanatical Israeli nationalist. That was precisely what frustrated the Jews of his own time. The rejection of Zionist nationalism is EXACTLY what Jesus was renouncing when he said, “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s.”

The Modernists were terribly upset with the idea that Jesus was really as obsessed with the Next Life. Now the “Christian” Right is rejecting that same idea. They are deeply upset at the idea that Jesus was betting everything on the Next Life. How can they keep their dues-paying congregation in church if they don’t give them a Guide to Better Living and Political Truth, and just keep talking about some Next Life?

Sorry, gang, that is what Jesus WAS obsessed with. Every word he said to thetrich young man and to everyone else had nothing to do Political Relevance. When he speaks to us, he speaks of what is needed to save our particular souls. It is altogether personal.

Frankly, I have not the slightest need of one more political philosopher. If Jesus was wrong about the eternal future of the soul, he was openly, totally, gloriously wrong. The woods are full of world view philosophers like me. But Jesus, to use Lawrence Brown’s words, “towers above history” precisely because he had a unique message, a total, uncompromising commitment to the idea that he, and he ALONE, knew how to save my personal soul.

Jesus was that absolutely unique phenomenon, a man who was either totally right or totally wrong. And he put EVERYTHING on the line for it. No Buddha, no Confucius, no Aristotle is fit to tie his shoes in terms of pure moral courage.

Luddites and Old Magazines

Besides watching all the documentaries, I also go on e-Bay from time to time and order some old magazines. As I read them, I apply them to today. Things jump out at me that others don’t even notice.

I read the November, 1932 Time Magazine and note the quotes from every expert that a restoration of the Kaiser is an absolute certainty. With the recent election, the NSDAP and the Communists held a majority in the Reichstag, so no government could be formed without including one of them. No way would Hindenburg allow the Stalinists in, so he would look to the extreme right. In 1932 the extreme right was Kaiser Bill, then in exile in the Netherlands.

The 1923 Time Magazine discussion of the failed Munich Putsch described Hitler as a “monarchist.’

This is directly relevant

In 1923 and 1932 World War I totally dominated our world view. Nobody bothered to know anything about Hitler, and everybody knew all about the Kaiser. The result was laughable absurdity. Today all discussion of race is a dominated by our world view which includes World War II and civil rights. The result is laughable absurdity.

Today race is a matter of 1933 torchlight parades. It is a million Germans showing up at the Nuremberg rally of 1936, chronicled in the latest thing, a talk movie by Leni Riefenstahl.

In short, all discussion in 1932 was dominated by 1918. That is how popular NEWS is made, and the magazine that looked to the future instead of the past did not connect with the minds of THEIR own day.

On the one hand there is NEWS and on the other hand there is an accurate view of the FUTURE. The twain never meets, and we must LEARN that. I have lost patience with those who concentrate on NEWS and the past.

From the point of view of the FUTURE, a commenter made the critical point that the most valuable commodities the biological market are the eggs of a white woman. We don’t see that in the media, but not only because it is embarrassing to Political Correctness. More important, no one watching TV news would UINDERSTAND it.

I want to talk to people who DO understand the MEANING of that. In the COMING technology, genes will be a CHOICE. The only discussion of this comes in quoting the alliance of Harvard “ethics” professors and fundamentalists who want it not to happen. I don’t have time or patience to waste my time on one more bunch of people who want the future NOT to happen.

Luddites were big news, but they are a historical aside.

When KDKA broadcast the 1920 presidential election in the first real broadcast it was NEWS. But no one foresaw television and its role in the FUTURE. Now we put down the Internet because it is not TV NEWS.

In short we keep doing the same thing over and over. We do not learn the lesson on the FUTURE. In the future the choice of genes will be NEWS, but the real FUTURE will be an extension of something that is, at most, a minor blip in the NEWS.

Tight Thinking from Dave

Aldous Huxley used to say, “Differences among ‘human beings’ are so great that it is astonishing they breathe the same air.”

Huxley was considered a “lefty”, so go figure how a man who could utter such a statement gets the “lefty” label.

Huxley was an opponent of Wordism and committed to real science. He considered the term “mankind” to be a profound distortion of the truth.

We are all “primates”, yes, and can share language, yes, let us leave it at that.

The differences among us are enormous. They can’t even be measured in terms of light years for there are qualitative differences among “men” that create an unbridgeable separation among them.

That, in fact, is the way the world works. Never lose sight of it.

AFKAN, Porch Talk, BUGS Perspective, My Editing

in reply to Shari:

Thanks for your thoughts!

I’d like to tie my response into the “Jammed Brains” topic of this thread, and then discuss part of what I am doing with my nephews to insure the jamming does not take place.

I’ve always had the belief the System was lying to us, big time, and the stories and histories we were given were not true, and were not true in some deep, substantial manner.

When I read the Frank Herbert’s novel “Dune,” I thought he was really discussing human consciousness, and how it is shaped by society to serve social ends. This is the underlying theme of Herbert’s work – shaping and structuring human consciousness.

So, when Bob talked about Wordism, I remembered my readings of Hoffer, and of Hayakawa, and my Marketing Research course, taught by a singularly ruthless man.

Seeing my nephews in the light of where they came from, and I can see how so many were trapped in the hills in more ways than one. If you’re nice, clean, upper-class church holds coat drives for poor people in the winter, these are the people whose clothing are hand-me-downs.

So is their thinking – the public school system exists to serve the local employers, who want trainable drones; that the local employers all left had no effect on the school system, whose curriculum is on autopilot.

THOSE are the people who, for the most part, composed “Movement Past,” and their brains are jammed with lies, half-truths, and the dreams of the powerless.

They posed more of a threat to themselves than they do any system of governance…

I’ve spent a lot of time wondering why “Movement Past” didn’t make any of the headway it should have, given the political realities it was facing.

I’ve broken it down to two factors:

One, most of the Leadership of “Movement Past” was Greatest Generation. Relentlessly submissive to authority, they waited for the Leader, and followed the most conspicuous Leader they could, who used the symbols they had been indoctrinated to follow.

So, for instance, Pierce used Kevin Alfred Strom’s words on American Dissident Voices broadcasts, and they listened, just like they did when they were younger man, to the quietly wise voice of an old, wise man.

Strom’s words, and Pierce’s speaking, inspired them, and gave them comfort, of a sort, in a world win which they were destined, at best, to be marginal, at best.

They, and their fathers, came out of the hills – no tv in those days, particularly in the hills, and most anywhere, for poor people – and listened to the radio, while they were told what to think about World War II, and Korea, and even the early phases of Viet-Nam.

The symbols used to control their thinking had been implanted, and they reacted to them damn near blindly.

These were all they had to hold onto, in a world in which they were becoming increasingly marginalized, every day.

And they had been lied to.

Still, “Movement Past” included fat men wearing camo BDU’s, adopting the Forms and Symbols of POWER when they were young men, without the Substance of Power to fill the empty Forms.

Daily, they grew older, poorer, and broker and they could not understand why this was happening.

So they retreated – blaming “the Communists,” and, in time, “The New World Order,” and you name it. They did not have a Positive Framework in which to place their efforts, and transform their Identities.

They used the Forms of the Past with greater intensity, to lesser avail…

Two, “Movement Past” seems damn near calculated to AVOID dealing with the issues before them in an intelligent manner, starting with the foundation of a Positive Theory of Race.

Thus the fat, subpotent alcoholics – which is what far too many of them had become – filled yesterday’s Forms, with yesterday’s Substance – the failed Substance of a day that had passed, and no one understood why, much less what to do about it. So they did the wrong things with ever-greater enthusiasm, until they were too old to do it anymore, and put aside their hooded robes, and contented themselves with the jobs they still at the factory.

And then the job went away and soon the factory closed down largely because they all missed the larger issues. I have been reading Beinhocker’s “Origins of Wealth,” and realize his models hold true in biological systems – organic systems – as well.

The Foundation of Society is Family. Jobs come and go, employers come and go, but the family remains, and the most successful Families are extended Families.

TIGHT Thinking

In his discussion of tmporal provincialism below Prometheus gave the best example yet of something I am trying to encourage here, TIGHT thinking. This is exactly the opposite of the kind of comment you so often see on SF, where a person uses a thread to wander off into his pet repetition of something he would have said if the person starting the thread had never been born or as a chance to put in some news item about Iraq or JEWS or something.

Prometheus had a thought and he put it down. He thought about how anti-whites use dates, explained it, and QUIT. The compliment to the rest of us is that he then left it to US to expand on his observation. He thought it out and put it out there. It is tight, it follows, and it becomes food for our minds.

Contrast this to the “education” we are overcoming. We have learned to listen to every word Mommy Professor says and regurgitate it, preferably word for word, in exact detail. I know this intimately. When I was a graduate assistant, the professor would tell me how to grade papers. On each “essay” question a student was supposed to say certain things, so many points for each thing regurgitated.

The last thing an “essay” question asked for was an essay. An essay is a discussion of a subject which consists of YOUR OWN interpretation of it. An essay is what YOU have to say about it. What is called an essay question in college is exactly the same as a multiple-choice test, except that you have to put in the right choices on a blank sheet.

The exact same perfect contradiction exists in what is called a “seminar” course. I always considered it rather funny when I got there before the FINAL EXAM in what was called a GRADUATE seminar course. The students would be sitting there comparing notes and cramming on what Mommy Professor had told then in the course.

Which was exactly what they had done before a final exam as freshman.

Which was exactly what they had done when they were HIGH SCHOOL freshmen. In modern “education” you never grow up. That is why BUGS is the only surviving example of an otherwise extinct animal, a real, honest-to-God GRADUATE SEMINAR. There will be no final exam. I can tell how well you are doing by the DISCUSSION you present, since a SEMINAR is by definition a DISCUSSION, not a COURSE.

In real education, making you repeat the multiplication table is what a grammar school teacher does. But I would walk in and see a bunch of graduate students in a so-called graduate seminar sitting around and cramming on what amounted to another example of a multiplication table.

As far as Mommy Professor is concerned grad students are still six years old.

So when I say that BUGS is for people who have outgrown their college education, whether they had one or not, it is not just a “cute” statement as SFers would generally think. It is a profound truth. My profound truths are simple, and a weak mind will assume that they are therefore childish and go on to repeat what they think is Profound.

Just the opposite. ADULT thinking is TIGHT thinking. It is the opposite of regurgitation. It is Porch Talk. Adult thinking is making an observation and then leaving it to other minds to expand on it. Old grandpa out on the porch had more respect for his grandchildren’s minds than any Mommy Professor is capable of.

Prometheus in General Comments on Temporal Provincialism

Just wanted to share a thought that popped in my head late one night.

Anti-whites hate discrimination for whatever reason, but there is one kind of discrimination they engage in, and it discriminates against most people that ever lived in this planet.

TIME discrimination. They often say, “This is 2008, not the 1950’s” or “This is the 21st century, not the 19th”. “We don’t hold that backwards, racists beliefs anymore”

What they are saying, is that prior to this year, or these past few decades, everyone was a racist bigot and everyone held views which are today contemptible.

Talk about disparaging most of the humans who ever lived.

Maybe is a silly though, but say something negative about blacks living in violent ghetto and get your head bitten off.

Say that ever human that existed before you held fundamentally wrong and horrid beliefs, and its all
