And they pain they inflict upon us is pain pure and simple, it doesn’t come in flavors. I cope with this by using it as conditioning and a reminder, to hone a discipline within myself the same way an athlete trains. It is false to believe that it is possible to control your own emotional state. You can control your own behavior, but not your own emotional state. Nevertheless, it is possible to develop a mentality. This is what athletes do. That is what BUGS really is. It is the development and training of a mentality. There can be nothing more threatening to the Establishment. A mentality is not dependent on the flow of events. Nor it is dependent on what Horus calls “active measures”. Time is not the enemy of a mentality. A mentality doesn’t need a rebellion, civil war, or revolution to succeed. It doesn’t need to win a vote. The Establishment cannot stand against a mentality. It is unable to cope with it because everything it does against it only serves as a reminder, only furthers the discipline that opposes it, only strengthens its opposition. Bullies always underestimate the capacity of their victims to take abuse. Bullies think people are weak and they are wrong. They also underestimate the extent that every detail of their depredations is remembered and how resentments are nursed through time.
