One thing about the Obedient Generation sticks out to me like a sore thumb.
So nobody else notices it.
Fifty percent of that generation took some advantage of the GI Bill for college. They went straight from learning that Sergeant whipping them and being worshiped to Mommy Professor telling them how he and his fellow Idealists and Intellectuals should rule the world. It is hard to imagine a more effective combination to make slaves of Americans.
No wonder they were THEN known as the Silent Generation. They had absolutely no training but how to obey. Stay butt-up to your sergeant and then repeat what Mommy Professors said word for word. They did not become vocal until they were GIVEN PERMISSION to do so from the establishment:
“You are so much better than the guys fighting Progressive Socialism in Vietnam. Yours was the Good War.” The louder they proclaimed this, the more praise they got.
Shari’s right — as usual — the draft was the natural continuation of this process. Look at how we warped our young people: Ideally a young person reaching the age when they used to have to make decisions entered an eight-year Politically Correct incubation period.
Young people who would have been learning a trade or determining their future at age fourteen began high school and did four-years, freshman-sophomore-junior-senior. THEN began ANOTHER four years under Mommy Professor. Then they were supposed to be drafted and go from Mommy Professor to Mommy Sarge.
Those who were drafted first reverse this process after the high school four years. If you ever wonder how Americans became the mindless slaves they are, THINK ABOUT this process.

It is all these seductions and evasions.
It is brightly painted vehicles with sirens and lights. It is gurneys and kits.
It is public employee unions running around in blue uniforms with American flag emblems sewn on their sleeves.
It is public schools with the races mashed together.
It is the cop shows on TV.
It is the “support our troops” brigades of the families of well-paid scientists and engineers of government contractors.
It is both the political right and the political left, one set of socialists for DHHS, and another set for DOD.
All waving flags and wearing uniforms and belonging to unions.

But look at it this way, the institutions that most mimic a white woman run day care center can still do nothing for blacks. All that Big Momma Liberal nonsense and blacks’ nature shines thru like a Quasar at full power.
As I state repeatedly “Liberalism is nothing” and were it not for respectable conservatism it would have long ago vanished.
Big Momma Liberal is losing control. If you go to any lefty site the last holdouts to liberalism as the salve of humanity will no doubt be lesbian women shacked up out in the country on a goat farm. Any of the other libs on those sites are as Dave describes, “uniforms” out for a paycheck.
America is a country with Israeli leadership that panders to a third world demographic by enslaving to various degrees 2/3 or 200 million people of America’s population, what could possibly go wrong with that?
If we were to only ask young people what they think I’m betting we would be quite suprised they sound more like us than Mommy Prof. We commit the basic PHD mistake of assuming that the Mommy PHD Prof’s propaganda is omnipotent because we worship the cult of the PHD ourselves.

Since 1965 everything has been LSS–Life support systems. Nasa had ECLss–Environmental Control and LSS. For the status quo. Now, you get 2 Ph.d.’s and don’t know Ezra Pound was ever in prison, or that Stack’s daughter SAID she is in political exile when her dad flew a plane into a building. She said she left the country b/c affirmative action made it that she could not get anything from a system she paid into. She is in political exile. No more, “He was such a nice man,” and “I just don’t understand.” She could say what she said b/c she was in Norway, in exile. Those still here go from 2 Ph.d.’s to therapy, or whatever, that t.v. shrinks normalize, and drugs, so it seems normal—for LSS. Mommy Professor is for life. Annihilation by Assimilation. Final Solution by Substitution. For any pod people left: endless re-education and restitution. And now, I’m going to go post the mantra somewhere.

The obedience training counts for a lot. Also important, perhaps more so, is the unnatural elongation of childhood. There should, to my light, a nexus between physical maturation and social responsibility. Man is a thinking animal [Aristotle]. Sarge and Prof affect the thinking half but the consequences of the animal side of the human experience being aborted are a part of the make up of the Silents. Nature’s rhythms have been seriously corrupted and this has had degenerative effect on society and our race. It has acerbated many social pathologies. In brief people are marrying later in life than is desirable. Furthermore this is encouraged by the government and it lowers the White birthrate.

Simmons, I’m sure you’re right about many young agreeing, but not in the same language, since they are young and don’t know what happened before. In the 70s/80s, kids read psyops to get through public school, around when the first real underground music was hitting. Their sexuality was tampered with in a way not around in the 50s/60s, another level of assault with other levels of effects. Just my 2.

The Second World War is the only war, waged in teh 20th Century, that Americans are allowed to be patriotic about. Notice all the whole guilt trip about the conflict in Vietnam, by contrast. Watching Platoon awakened me to the doublestandards in Hollywood.
For instance, there are some wars they want us to get patriotic about (the Second World War), and some they do not!
