The Activist Industry

Posted by Bob on April 16th, 2010 under Coaching Session

The Human Betterment Industry is not unique. When the PTL minister went to prison and came out, what did he do?

He founded another ministry. He would SAY he is just dedicated to God, and Somebody Important told me not to judge lest I be judged, and a man with a career in politics on his conscience can’t afford THAT.

It was found another ministry or try to get a job at Burger King like the computer experts did. This is the way the world WORKS. It’s just that it is considered a crass way of analyzing high callings like Causes or Religion.

One of the people I regularly met at Washington conservative cocktail parties had a tie with a tie clasp shaped like a revolver. I tried to talk to him about guns and he said he knew nothing about them. He didn’t even OWN one. He just ran an organization lobbying for gun rights to the right of the NRA, and I happen to know he did a very good job of it.

In the private sector, it was not unusual for someone who started his career in health foods to end up working for a cigarette company. It is not unusual for a person who starts out as a libertarian activist to be working for a pro-Life outfit.

Bella Abzug was a far-left congresswoman. She was as fanatical an advocate of letting repeat rapists and other criminal repeaters back out on the streets as any other liberal.

Then one day she and several other leftist women founded the National Organization for Women. They just called a press conference and announced that they were the Women’s Movement. One of their big bitches was how a male-dominated society let repeat rapists right back on the streets.

NOW became her main source of income and fame.

I have said before that what we call respectable conservatives are actually conservative respectables. The second word is what they ARE, the first word is a modifier. A person can switch sides and make a living in politics, but if he loses his respectability as “main stream,” he is OUT.

Consistency doesn’t pay your bills. Everybody knows that, but few take it for granted in the growing Cause Industry the way we do in all other walks of life.

While others wonder at the bravery or stupidity of the crew of the Save the Whales boat, I always think, “God, that ship costs a LOT of money!” I have never seen the slightest bit of discussion as to where all that money comes from.

If someone had a yacht that cost as much as that boat, the question of who is paying the bills would be front and center. But no one seems to think of people who are Saving the Whales as people who are looking for a JOB.

If you are looking for a job on Capitol Hill, the first thing you are asked is, “How much Hill experience do you have?” It’s bigger now, but when I was there the Hill had 20,000 staffers.

It was not nearly so important what you DID on the Hill, or who you worked for. Staffers did whatever was needed, but they had to know how the Hill worked to fit in.

So if you ever wonder why a group of offices is dedicated to Cat Lib, you should wonder why, with that many Experienced Activists looking for work, Dog Lib is not better represented.

NY is another place they run ads s/a that: “NY experience a MUST!” It’s never about skills, not really. On t.v., Bernanke just said he’s worried about people who’ve been out of work long-term, since stats show after a given time period, they never work again at the same capacity.

Officials always have to pretend this is b/c people “lose skills,” (like new computer skills.) But realistically, previous execs can obviously learn something as stupid as whatever new Word program in about ten minutes. Still, “new skills programs” are offered, like it’s a meaningful thing. (And anyway, the time frame of this crucial “out of work” period is about two years, during which the “skills” really rarely change much).

The trouble, not mentioned, is that smart people –left to their own devices while not working 80 hours a week– might un-learn the SYSTEM. Even worse, if they work again, they might actually SAY SOMETHING. So, intelligent, educated, long-term-unemployed people, or those in “early retirement” can be a “risk” during “recessions.”

To make really good money, RAT LIB is where it’s at. Rats are very anti-white racist. Dogs and even cats, not so much.

P.S.: The other thing is that the magic number usually stated for unemployability-at-previous-capacity is only about a year and a half. A truly work-changing thing like the Internet has a longer curve, (at least a decade, really). Which shows skills are immaterial, since employees really learn seriously new stuff for years.

If ONE DOES “sit out,” (and run the risk of thinking), all they have to state is they’ve “Kept a Hand-In.” No proof is needed. It’s just a way of saying, “I realize the dangers of leaving organizations, and people can start not playing the game, or forget how to dick people properly, and so forth. But I did not forget. I promise.”

Saying you “kept a hand in” is a good pledge that must be made to human resources departments and then everything is fine.

The easiest way to trace the rise of tyranny in America is just to review the build out of the capitol in Washington DC, all of which is well documented in photographs.

You can see in pictures the construction during the Civil War of that god-awful edifice of the Capitol Building itself, to house the lower and upper Houses of Freedom Destruction that we mistakenly call “Congress”.

Mere walking distance away is the multitudinous K-Street offices of officially sanctioned bribery where money for treason is passed daily.

Most of the rest of the operation are the national union shops of public employee unions which are really America’s Communist Party membership organizations for the countless thousands of dedicated Party Members who without exception consider themselves the world’s most handsomely paid patriot-cadres.

Then we have the “separate jurisdiction “organizations, the branches of the military and defense establishment, which are caste societies where the slotted beneficiaries of America’s military academies “private government contractor” organizations and official and unofficial intelligence agencies and Wall Street investment banking organizations are afforded the kind of lifestyles previously afforded only the Ante-Bellum Plantation Aristocracy, only the sheer numbers of slaves they have at their service dwarf anything the most corrupt slaves holders of the old era could possibly imagine.

Then we have the bulk of the population of the country, “Respectables, who are the curse of the earth. Since time immemorial their sole function in the world has been to beat down human virtue at each and every instance it dares to show itself.

What I don’t understand is why somebody can be shown to not be what they say they are, like television preachers, and people will STILL send them money. This is totally optional, not like tax “contributions.”

My suggestion for one of our intellectuals to sharpen his arguments with the word genocide (2nd comment)

Coincidently Comrade Bob mentioned the whale savers. Ever notice how white the crews are? Ask that kind of question of why that is so and those kids lose it. The whole pillars of liberalism today are built on a peat bog.
