I wasn’t expecting a front page post, just a GCIV.

I’ll tell you what I know. I posted the video about 2 months ago. It started off pretty then leveled off to 35 to 40 views a day. Kind of what one would expect with everyone promoting it.

A few days ago BBG skyped me and suggested that I change the tags to tie it to more current events. Seemed like a good idea so I gave it a try.

The next day the numbers shot way up, but I don’t think it was the result of the tags. The screen shot that you posted is what you tube calls discovery. That is where the people found out about the video. Starting from the bottom and working out way up the list:

Link from you tube channel page. Someone looked at my channel and clicked on the Mantra Video.

Google Search shows one view. That would be googling something that brought up the video. You can click on google search and it will tell you what google searches brought up the video. In this case “Jan Brewer Quotes” was the search term that brought up a link to the Mantra Video. I think that one at least could be attributed to BBG’s tag change suggestions.

Related Videos. That list of videos next to the one you are currently viewing. In this case one was my other video Race for the Standard of Living and one from Goldberg goes Anti-White Racist Rant!!!

YouTube search. This is were people do a search on You Tube. The search terms were

anti racism is anti white
white women racism
anti white
racism against whites
 white country
 only for whites
 un anti racism cone
xfcrfcyklh
 anti racist anti white
black women transform into white

YouTube Other. Your guess is as good as mine.

External Links. This is where people have posted a link in other forums, face book and twitter. Here is the list for that 24 hour period.

No link referrer (?) This was the big one. 3253 views from No Link referrer. This is how YouTube discribs No Link referrer.

We have no information on the origin of these views. This happens when videos are shared virally, e.g., someone clicking on a link to the video from an email/IM application, or copy-pasting the URL of the video into the browser’s address bar.

So what dose this mean? My best guess is that someone did one hell of a job spamming the link. I have no idea who. When I saw that I had to take a look at another feature that YT offers. It is called.Hot Spots. Hot Spots show where people quit watching your video. The first 7 seconds the video is slightly below average. We can expect that. Lot of people quit watching when they don’t see a talking dog or someone getting hit in the crotch. After the first 7 seconds it stays way above average. In other words the people who clicked on that spammed link, watched the whole video. Good News.

The moral of all this is you don’t know who are where you are going to use the Mantra that it will have a major effect. You get the feeling you are not having any real effect, that you are preaching to the choir, then something like this happens.
