As to A3P using the Mantra, I was pleasantly surprised to see that MRS. Kelso has joined in the fray.

All that I knew about the lady from the hurried phone calls and Skypes I have had with Kelso was that Kelso is the proudest father this world has seen in just over two thousand years.

Let’s be sure we understand what WE are trying to do with the American Third Position using the Mantra. I proposed some time ago that we could get the Mantra on radio and TV and past censorship very CHEAPLY if a valid candidate would use it.

Kelso knew exactly what I was talking about. He said they could get ads on TV for something like ten dollars, since stations are required to give the lowest possible rate to campaign ads, and they cannot censor the content.

That would seem to cinch it, but if you have been out in the field as long as I have, you are fully aware that the best and most obvious ideas require a concentrated effort to get DONE no matter how agreeable everybody is.

I got the impression that the people asking Mrs. Kelso about using the Mantra may have left the impression it should be worked into their campaign.

No, what I had in mind was that we BUGSERS could send small checks to Kelso or his lady with “Mantra ads” in the little bottom left-hand place for how it is used.

OK. They have the dollars you send, I’ll go for at least a hundred. THEN they must arrange for an ad with the candidate saying, PERSONALLY, “I have endorsed this ad” or whatever. The ad, to be simple, could consist of someone, I would suggest the one I did, stating the Mantra.

Campaigns and combat have some characteristics in common, and I have been in both.

One characteristic is that you can forget to fire your gun. At Normandy thousands left their weapons behind, including some who were charging right on.

In other words, in war or politics the most obvious thing is routinely overlooked.

Kelso has agreed and Mrs. Kelso can be reached by some of our people, so it looks like a molehill between us and those ads.

It’s a mountain, gang.

Since writing the above, I called Jamie Kelso and I will be sending the first Mantra check for a hundred dollars.

I told him I wanted to see a Mantra ad and he said he could do it in a week. He said that was “optimistic,” but we have to get STARTED. I know they have to reserve the time, and that will take more than a week, but I want to see something DONE.

I have often criticized people who messed with the Mantra on a THEORETICAL basis. That is, they make “observations” on it. My big objection is that I developed the Mantra over decades USING it head-to-head.

But when someone is USING the Mantra out there where if you get silly you get shot down, I am all ears. If this video had come out twenty year ago, I would have been dancing on the roof.

I keep trying to explain the rules of political reality to you here. The reason Mr. Taylor appeals to the converted is because seniority in small movements, defensive movements like today’s pro-whites like ours goes to the person who can raise the most MONEY.

You can only raise money from the converted. So the person who stands out among us is the one who can get a little money out of earlier converts, not the one who can make NEW converts.

This is not because Jared is a Closet Jew, but because ANYONE who would be in his position among pro-whites would be someone who raises more money.

The reason people in our movement wait to see Jared Taylor like courtiers wait on the king is because they need to do what he can do, raise money.

The real reason for the behavior on the part of Jared Taylor that we disapprove of is not that that his feet are not washed or his appearance is bad or his religion insincere. It is simply that the law of natural selection in the case of movements at our stage tends to weed out anybody who is just good at conversions.

Pro-whites are used to losing, they expect to lose, and so they want someone who says the right things as they go down.

Put what has evolved in the four thousand articles forward under careful analysis and we won’t be going down. They will.

My point is that this point has little to do with Jared Taylor. The big thing is that you are useless in our thought process if you get sidetracked on villainy. If you are looking for a villain, you are NOT looking for the truth.

Less than a hundred of us has already had more effect than all the tens of millions of dollars and the millions of dollars spent on Occupy Wall Street.

OWS can’t even get a coherent message.

Our message is as clear as a sledgehammer and just as subtle.

Today, in order to really understand why the drug Provigil is likely to be held up indefinitely or why the penny is likely to keep being minted at a cost of two cents, your mind has to make bit leaps.

And every single leap you would have to make is blocked by the same kind of obstruction the few who push the Mantra get.

I was just watching a documentary I saw and discussed before on The Little Ice Age. One talking head — an Icelander, said that the Vikings in Greenland wouldn’t have starved if they had had the Inuit whale-style hook. He went on to say that, specifically, the Vikings were killed by their own racism.

He said specifically that their fatal error was that they did not intermarry with the Inuits. He laid it all out. When I wrote that here, commenters made fun of me, exactly the same way all Thoughtblockers block every step of the thought I had to take for granted when I did this stuff professionally.

Why did this documentary have that?

I have covered that. The question is why is information produced. Then I discussed how researchers get grants, how great the competition is, and how research is done if it promises to confirm our established religion.

All information produced anywhere includes a lesson in Political Correctness. Almost every BBC piece ends with what I call the Sermon, a wrap-up which puts everything said into the context of Politically Correct history.

But readers here routinely do what everybody does, they let this flow of thought, which is obvious to me, be Thought Blocked. They laugh at a critical step, they let their minds wander into stuff they wanted to say and treat this blog as a place to regurgitate.

Maybe the day will come when someone else will be able to stop dribbling off into recent politics or making a joke or saying the standard stuff and for God’s sake PAY ATTENTION to the long logical procession you need to have in mind.

I just hope that I am still this side of the freezer by the time I find someone like that.

Now that one is not allowed to be loyal to anything, Potemkin Patriotism concentrates all attention on The Flag and khaki uniforms.

Veterans are sort of the new Semites, as in anti-Semitic. It was a bad mistake when the 60s protests concentrated on calling American soldiers paid killers. This tactic ended up with hardhats marching in a pro-War rally on Wall Street, American Solidarity.

With the Potemkin definition of Patriotism today, anyone who fails to worship uniforms and veterans is anti-American instead of anti-Semitic.

Like busing, the draft in the 1960s was strictly for children of working stiffs who couldn’t afford to send their children to private schools and draft-exempt colleges. Marxists used the term “working class” then.

Loyalty is something almost everyone wants. That is a basic need that Marxism tries to ignore. Lenin, who declared that any loyalty to anything but the Working Class to be treason, would have had a fit if he found out that Soviets had to call World War II The Great Patriotic War.

But the simple fact was that, even after a generation of Soviet rule, soldiers would not fight for Wordism, the Truth According to Marx.

It had to be Mother Russia.

McGovern got stomped in the 1972 election because of this backlash against people who carried the Viet Cong flag in parades and falsely informed parents that their son had been killed in Vietnam.

All that made their “working class” pretensions so absurd that they stopped using “working class” in America because it had become a joke.

In the present series of wars against Arabs, they wised up a bit when Bush, Sr. attacked Iraq and got a 90 plus approval rating for it. They have changed their tactics on loyalty.

After their 60s experience, they have finally faced the fact that their hero Comrade Stalin learned thirty years before. Marxism cannot get rid of loyalty. But it can redirect it.

This is a major blow to Marxism in the West, just as it was to the Soviets, but the simple fact is that no form of Wordism can actually replace loyalty.

That is because Wordism is silly. Students can actually believe that people can actually replace their gut feelings with a book and the Words of Mommy Professor. Like Stalin’s naming of World War II, they have given up on their belief that words can replace loyalties.

But they can divert it.

Hence the new Potemkin Patriotism. One can be a Good American by worshipping Our Men and Women in Uniform. One can even wave an American flag.

Potemkin Patriotism diverts natural loyalty to our Mother Russia, to khaki uniforms that represent loyalty to nothing, a flag dedicated to what National Review calls “post-racial America.”

Right after 911, Call for Patriotism hosted by Sidney Poitier included a shot of a white girl and a Black man wrapped together in an American flag. That ad was pulled and put into the libservative Memory Hole. It showed too plainly what loyalty means to liberals and respectable conservatives.

But it is their strategy now. Potemkin Patriotism, like The Great Patriotic War, is Wordists coming up against reality.

The word no one will use is Silly.

To be a respectable conservative you have to say that Communism fell because it was “not viable.”

A bugser would say it collapsed because it was so Silly.

These statements are worlds apart.

Our rulers are examples of Hardy’s Law:

“Nobody is dumber than a dumb man who thinks he’s smart.”

Respectable conservatives are paid to keep the academic self-image alive. The lesson of Occupy Wall Street is that there is lots of money and “activism” on the left, but everything they have proposed is not only a failure, by now it is a string of LAUGHABLE failures.

But no one who wants to get paid in the media can LAUGH at them.

The Euro is another example of this.

Mexico is poor because it is inhabited by Mexicans. Southern Europe, even inside the same country, has a standard of living which correlates best of all with the shade of he skin of the people in the area.

Brown is poor. White is rich. Unless the whites are silly asses who are Communist.

So for Germans to have a common currency with southern Europe leads directly to a collapse.

Europe took all that nation of immigrants and One Nation crap and actually TRIED it. Just as Eastern Europe took the idea of a group of professors running everything and TRIED it.

OF COURSE it failed. It’s ridiculous.

But until somebody is willing to use words like “ridiculous,” nobody is going to get the point.

One of the most amazing examples, and therefore least known, is Julius Caesar’s. It concerned his invasion of Britain.

Caesar calmly pointed out that if the Britons had had the patience of Fabius Maximus and his discipline which destroyed Hannibal’s mortal threat to Rome, not only world his army have been destroyed, but he himself could never have escaped the island alive.

It didn’t worry Caesar to admit this. He knew every well that the Britons, even those who had read Roman history, could no more have discipline and wisdom than a respectable conservative could today. Like respectable conservatives, their imperatives were exactly the opposite.

British leaders made exactly the same mistake against Hannibal that the Britons made against Caesar. The difference is that Caesar, like Ole Bob, knew people so well it never OCCURRED to him that the Britons would do otherwise.

It would be like an editor at National Review actually WORRYING that one of his writers would use the Mantra!

So the Romans, like everybody but Fabius, got their hordes together, screamed, and charged.

The only group in history who used any other tactics were the Germans at Teutonburg Forest, a battle that not only stopped the Roman advance into Germany, but confirmed Augustus Caesar in his decision to end Roman expansion everywhere.

This subject comes from a Swarm comment, of course. Swarm is where our few, pitifully few, warriors run into actual problems from the other side, rather than the old theorizing abut what they MIGHT say. With impressive and necessary modesty he admitted he had had a problem with one anti-white’s reply.

The anti-white had assumed we are against ALL immigration, obviously he is used to dealing with respectables. He said that if all the immigrants were white, we wouldn’t object to it.

So, he said, we are all about racism.

If we were charging in like the Britons against Caesar, the answer would be complicated. We would point out that immigration is not a requirement of our Constitution that is very specifically, and ONLY, about “Ourselves and OUR Posterity.“

But this is exactly the opposite of the Fabian strategy, and is the key to disaster.

Caesar pointed out that when the Britons hit the Romans until the Romans ceased to be surprised and then withdrew, the Britons won the advantage, and a lot of small advantages, as Fabius found, add up to total victory.

So my answer in this case would be “Yes, it IS all about race.” “No, we would NOT call this genocide if all the immigrants were of our race.”

And above all, we would make the point: “It is all about race. Until we are able to discuss THAT openly, all this other crap you keep throwing at us is irrelevant.”

That is why the DISCIPLINE of sticking to one point makes ALL the difference.

Destroying an enemy to death by pinpricks is better than letting him escape in mere defeat.

That, or Caesar wasn’t a very good general.

Responses to my “If You Need Something Done…” were so good they kicked ME in the pants!

“If you need something done, ask a busy man.” The reason a man is busy is because he gets things DONE, so more people ask him.

And responses came in from our BUSIEST bugsers.

In our case, “ask a busy man” has another advantage. Those of us who have been fighting out in the field can cite EXACTLY where we are REALLY weak, as opposed to theoretically.

One of them pointed out how critical it is for one bugser to greet another if he can out in the field. This is especially important to help out NEW bugsers.

I never thought of that.

Another thing I discovered anew was how well Truck Roy, White Rabbit, and I are working together. I may be falling down on that, and need to remedy it, especially in the case of Truck Roy.

If you look at a book by one the 1930’s anti-whites, like Franz Boas or Ashley Montague, you will see that almost all of their footnotes cite each other. This is not just because they tend to back each other up, but each book would point new anti-whites to buy or check out other anti-whites.

When I realized this site was a bunch of pro-Whites posting “collectively,” I was overjoyed and jumped right in immediately! After a few posts, someone nudged me, uh, we’re working from a Mantra here! Lol!

I felt very welcomed, and I thank all of you for that. I think we should be wildly welcoming…I think we all feel a natural trepidation about people jumping in and getting it all wrong, but it doesn’t matter if they get it all wrong at first!! Let’s not let our concern seep out and activate people’s insecurities just enough that they don’t give it a try, and they go on to something else and don’t circle back. I’d like the new sub-form Adelheim is starting on SF to be a place where SF’ers feel WELCOME to drop in and try their hand at dropping a few bugster posts here and there!

Once a newbie has located or been directed to a thread where there’s a number of us active, just seeing our own posts there is ALL THE DIRECTION A NEWBIE NEEDS TO GET STARTED, in my opinion!

The way to get people involved is to make involvement as easy as possible. People are already under a lot of strain.

Genseric, I’m thinking an entire page with nothing at all on it but that short one-sentence version of your mission statement.

Oliver Hardy learned about people from growing up in his mother’s little hotel in Augusta, Georgia.

Of the Laurel and Hardy team, it was Laurel who did most of the intellectual work and it was Stan Laurel who talked in the interviews about it.

So when they pressed him about the secret of his character’s popularity, he put it in one sentence:

I learned Hardy’s Law in detail before I reached my teens, because with my brother in med school we had a lot of medical histories around. In the mid-50s the entire history of modern medicine could be summed up in one sentence:

They acquitted rapists and damned young girls for two thousand years because Galen Himself had said that a girl could not become pregnant unless the sex was consensual.

Contrary to everything you read in regular history, Medieval hospitals were extremely clean and the germ theory of disease was VERY widely believed in. Everything we READ from those days ignores germ theory, except for one quote I have where it was condemned because “no Authority” had endorsed it.

Authority meant Greek, Latin, and University Medicine.

That particular quote, by the way, was made by Louis XIV’s chief physician, but the most interesting thing about it is that he names some twenty German physicians who attributed syphilis to “tiny beings too small to be seen that multiply rapidly and are spread from person to person.”

Pretty good description of a germ by someone who didn’t have a microscope.

But I repeat, real people knew about germs for hundreds or even thousands of years before that.

They used to bathe regularly before the Intellectuals told them that bathing was unhealthy.

Whitaker’s restatement of Hardy’s Law is that “Nobody is as dumb as the person people THINK is smart.”

I really like historical fiction.

It is more accurate than regular history because a book on history is read by a few thousand bored academics while those of fiction have hundreds of thousands of history fanatics, and since the development of Google, they are really stinging.

The kind of crap you find in the average history book would be cut to shreds by hisfic fans.

You would think that it is critical to get history while the generation being spoken of is still living. As one who lived through seventy years of it, I assure you that it is NOT the case.

A I have pointed out, the story of World War II as told by the young guys who fought it in the early fifties, bears not the slightest relationship to what the old guys say now.

They say that in politics, a year is forever. The same is true in terms of recent history. No one but me remembers the Permanent Meat Shortage, and that is just one example. If a G.I. talked about being on the European Front, he invariably said that his real enemy was not the Germans, but the cold and the rain and other misery.

You will never hear that from any of the Weakest Generation today. Every one of them was John Wayne. Every one of them liberated Death Camps.

In a real war you almost never see the enemy.

But these observations about the Weakest Generation apply to every age.

So it makes very little difference whether the generation that lived it is alive or dead, because they will believe everything everybody else believes.

This is a realization I came to in my early teens. I would be talking to people who were obsessed with something that was big deal and they absolutely forgot it when I brought it up a month or so later. Now this is routine for me. But back then, before the Twilight Zone, it was the Twilight Zone.

As a new teen, I could not believe that the person I was talking couldn’t even remember what was considered a national event, much less his own fanaticism about one side of it.

It is literally true that the Weakest Generation was not actually IN the War they fought. But the lesson is MUCH more general.

Very, very few people remember even their own reactions to the history they lived through.

I got paid for my predictions. I made accurate predictions because of the fact that one learns the future from what has already happened. My secret was that I remembered what REALLY happened.

But to do that you have to remember what happened.

A commenter made an intelligent remark abut the National Guard, called the Nasty Guard by those who served in it — soldiers love to bitch.

This comment reminded me of a professional propagandist’s idea of what is killing the establishment.

They used to be New York provincials. Now they are totally out of it, not even Harvard provincials any more. The establishment based its attack on Bush, Jr., on the statement that he “dodged Viet Nam by being in the National Guard.”

There are millions of voters who served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War. There are hundreds of thousands of voters serving in the National Guard right now. That was the sort of political gaff opposition advisors dream of!

But Obama and the media don’t KNOW a single person who ever served in the National Guard. It is a Middle American institution.

Another time, remembering the Vietnam days when college was the way of avoiding the draft, Presidential nominee John Kerry made the hilarious comment at a college that if the students didn’t do well they would end up in Iraq.

There were several hundred thousand voters in the armed forces at the time and they had several million relatives, none of whom appreciated the idea that anyone serving in the military did so because he was a dunce.

It reminds me of something that was on Family Guy, when the speaker before a yacht race said “We will now have moment of silence for those of you whose sons are serving in Iraq.” There was moment of surprise, and then everybody laughed.

There is a lot of truth that is expressed in humor.

President Obama declared that a billionaire told him that he paid less income taxes than a lot of millionaires. Obama declared him a hero and wanted to name a tax increase after him.

To Obama and his billionaire and Hollywood buddies, this was True Politics. But the thing was, at best, a dud. Nobody outside the Democratic Party’s limousine liberals considered a multibillionaire bragging abut much taxes he can pay without noticing it to be sign of admirable sacrifice.

They really are drifting out into LaLa Land.

Yes, I KNOW you’re busy.

Believe me.

But the old and true statement is, “If you want something done, ask a busy man.”

And one thing that I think Genseric and other true BUGSERS have found is that it is easier for a brilliant mind to just DO it than it is for it to go through all the pros and cons Conventional Wisdom tells you to think about before you DO anything.

Put some Mantras in. You will then want to go back and see if you got censored. If you decide you don’t want to bother, and/or you get censored, you have my deep gratitude in any case.

In every phase of life, there is a chiasmic difference between doing something simple and doing nothing at all.

NEVER sit and ponder and go into the Ramifications if you an do something simple as a START.

If we are speaking of stepping off a cliff, this is different, and it doesn’t take genius to know that. But if it something simple like drawing your first picture or making a call, you can make your life far, far more happy and productive if you learn to go ahead and do the first step and proceed AFTER that.

You can understand history here better than by any other means. History is largely the advance of practical human truths.

So we try to get people to see, as the anti-whites have, that the key to stopping all resistance to the Politically Correct-Marxist world of intellectual and physical stagnation, a static world ruled by a bureaucratic priesthood, is to begin breaking their hold on the public mind by hitting on the genocide they have to perform to get rid of the only race that DOES not maintain the Wisdom of an ant-like, priest run society.

The practical truth is that if you can get rid of the white race, you can get rid of the one group that does not naturally evolve into the ant-like societies of the Middle East and the Orient, or the even more delightful straight animal societies of Africa.

None of this is a plot. It is truly conservative mind set. You find it in extreme right Catholic Cardinals and in Mao Tse-Tung.

In World War II you had a coalition of Churchill’s Pride in the British Empire, FDR’s political promise that he was saving capitalism and all his advisors’ claims that they were introducing steps to socialism. Above all, you had those two choosing Stalin.

White Hitler was dabbling about at a program to make all mankind Aryan, Stalin was working on a program to mix humans with apes so he could have the Ultimate Terror Corps to force the world to become an enormous ant colony, which is exactly what imported minorities are assigned to do today in white countries.

People, sadly including pro-white leaders, are too unimaginative, to see that what looks like the very opposite-APPEARING strategy is so precisely the same.

The use of big words and titles to entrench intimidation of all real thought in the name of Great Books and Ancient Wisdom is EXACTLY the same bullying strategy that the half-apes and the violent minorities use.

It always ends up being simply a means of intimidation to frighten people away from doing the BASIC thinking which is actually the white race’s means of advancing the human understanding and control of REALITY.

Our enemies today are doing nothing new. They have always had a two-edged sword, the SAME two-edged word they use today: mindless thugs and channeling all potential thought into Stagnant channels they call Great Wisdom.

I would appreacite it deeply if some comments on this, for a change, actually referred to the thoughts here rather than constently using BUGS as a convenient place to put a separate editorial or sermon.

As a very cynical old man, I am not as impressed by translations of the Mantra as I’m supposed to be.

I AM impressed when a Norwegian gets ten thousand on a youtube he made in Norwegian.

I put the Mantra into English many, many years ago and no one USED it. So putting it into Lapp or Basque, by itself, is no great gain.

In professional advertising, translation involves tens of millions of dollars. The American motto for Coca-Cola, which cost millions, was “The pause that refreshes.” No one in our leadership seems to notice that a book is one hell of a lot cheaper than an advertising slogan.

Several tens of millions of dollars later, in the giant German Coke market, they came up with “Mach mal Pause” for Coca-Cola. “The pause that refreshes” doesn’t translate.

Those of you who complain that translation is not easy would be the object of screaming ridicule if you whined that to seven-figure professional advertisers.

Or if you went to the other side to talk to a professional propagandist.

I don’t think we have any.

I was called in in the late seventies to advise Ronald Reagan about the 1980 election.

A major point of his campaign came from me. He took a point I made about emphasizing the qualities of the American people THEMSELVES and went with it, instead of staying on the abstracts like the Constitution and so forth.

He took a few sentences of what I said and he made it into something one would not immediately connect with what I told him.

He also ignored at least 99% of what I said, which gives me a good percentage for high-level advice. After all, I was talking to a former elected head of the Screen Actors Guild, a twice elected governor of California, the man who had the 1980 Republicans nomination about sewed up.

My regular employer at the time was Congressman Ashbrook,, who had been elected nine times to his seat. And this is what makes high-level advising very different from lower level advice.

Giving advice to John Ashbrook or Ronald Reagan on getting elected was a lot like telling Don Juan how to get girls.

If you are advising a brand new candidate you have a lot to tell him. But when it gets big-time, you are talking to a person who knows a LOT more about what REALLY WORKS than you do.

I got a Skype call from people who had used the Mantra in Norwegian and got 100,000 hits! The total audience is about nine million!

So when they called ME for advice, I got that nervous feeling I used to get when called to advise someone who has been reelected nine times about elections.

Let me tell you a little secret about Reagan. All the “intellectuals” portrayed him as ignorant. He would interview somebody for an appointment in, say, the State Department, and he let them talk. He would ask questions which anybody who was half bright would know he knew the answer to.

It’s a technique called, “Let them hang themselves.” It is easy to forget you are talking to man who has been elected president of a huge union and Governor of the biggest state in the Union twice.

You see, one of the main things about high level advice is for you to keep rigidly in mind WHO you are talking to. If you are looking for a high-level appointment it’s easy for someone like Reagan to let you make an absolute fool of yourself.

So when I am talking to someone who has gotten a full percentage point of his entire linguistic audience, I want him to keep doing whatever it is he is doing. Advisors screw up a lot of successful people if the person PRACTICING success takes them too seriously.

“Anti-white” is a term only people who have been directly or indirectly exposed to us use.

This can be trivialized by pointing that Louis Farrakhan was regularly called “anti-white.”

So it is critically important that Farrakhan was NEVER called “anti-white.”

He was ALWAYS called “anti-white AND anti-Semitic.” You will play hell trying to find the few, if any, times that someone was ever called “anti-white,” and in every case, it was just sloppiness.

But here is the problem. We will be looking for terms like this that show our imprint, and somebody says “Nobody says just anti-white, it’s always anti-white AND anti-Semitic.” And the point will be entirely lost.

Why? Because all pro-whites except us will use this as an example of ABOUT JEWS.

Anti-whites will try to get the conversation over to anti-Semitism. As usual, our main leadership and the anti-whites end up talking about the same thing, and the real point is totally forgotten.

Which is why I am so touchy when a commenter makes a standard point here. What I am saying is VERY hard to get across. Once you get out in the field and start using the Mantra, it’s hard to believe that you ever saw that crazy old Whitaker using it over and over and over and over, smashing the anti-whites in Opposing Views, and saying, “DUHHH!”

Then, the most usual way of excusing themselves from the Mantra was people would say, “Well, I SAID more or less that in a couple of my statements.”

Not only is “more or less” no good, it is the single most deadly weapon I have run into. So “anti-white AND anti-Semitic” becomes a point in the ENEMY’S favor if you don’t grab onto the distinction HARD.

Like the Mantra, this absolute necessity that you get the SUBTLETY is critical and extremely hard to explain.

Someone wrote me that, the Occupy Wall Street Movement was dying out.

I took a deep, deep sigh and pointed out:

“My whole point was that there WAS no Occupy Wall Street Movement.”

I wasted a couple of articles TRYING to point out an important lesson about intellectual bankruptcy that is CRITICAL to US. It is, in fact, critical to our thinking.

This was the critical chance for me to point out that 1) They have enormous, titanic resources and NO MESSAGE; and 2) We have tiny resources but we have one hell of a message.

Can you imagine the feeling it gives me when someone brightly pops up with “I don’t like bankers, either,” or “This MOVEMENT is petering out.”

This is the kind of distinction I got PAID for.

If you are going to go to the mea culpa when I criticize something, PLEASE don’t say, “I guess it is my doing, I was responding to X who was responding to Y.”

That’s MORE goddamned STATIC.

If you want to talk about an error you made, talk about THE ERROR. I’m not a priest, I am a coach. The only response is to GET IT RIGHT. Explain what I said again.
