Chained Books to Google

Posted by Bob on April 29th, 2012 under Coaching Session

One can say there are two parts to understanding history, facts and logic.

In the Middle Ages, when a college at Cambridge would be particularly rich if it owned twenty books, each chained to the wall and with a full time Librarian to regulate access to them, Knowledge was everything.

Every person who had access to the chained books was aware that Aristotle had stated that men had more teeth than women. There was no correcting that. No matter what survey you took, you would be looking at men who had lost teeth or something.

I am NOT kidding about this.

I think it was Walter Pater who invented this “Renaissance” crap. The idea was that civilized Europe was a rebirth of civilized Rome, with those Dark Ages in between. Finally, his “modern” Europe had discovered Classical books and started using the opposable thumb and other things they hadn’t known about for a thousand years.

Actually, my vision is the exact opposite. Europe began a modern era when it ditched the horseshit of Galen and his bleeding and the ridiculous, outdated, dead end physics of “Form” and “Essence.”

This is very relevant today, because we have rocketed into an information revolution as profound as the whole difference between the chained book and twentieth-century public libraries. From chained books to public libraries in a period of eight hundred years, we have moved from public libraries to everything at your finger tip.

Facts are no longer rare. LOGIC is rare now.

We live in the Chained Book Age of LOGIC.

Mantra Thinking is the LOGIC.

There is a reason that they no longer teach Logic in elementary schools, anymore. If they did, then students would easily find all the logical fallacies and contradictions within the mainstream media.

I, for one, am teaching myself logic, though it takes time. I am working at whenever I get a chance to do so.

    • #3 by Harumphty Dumpty on 04/29/2012 - 4:16 pm

Try to spend more time at that, Epiphany. We can spare you.

Probability might be a more useful topic than logic in the strict academic sense of the word (I think Bob is using the word in a broader sense), since most decisions we make are probabilistic.

Just simple numeracy…thinking about things in terms of “how much,” would be a huge improvement. After reading John Allen Paulos’ “Innumeracy,” I realized I failed in that dept. despite being a math teacher/tutor.

Millions, billions, trillions…it’s all the same to me. Pathetic.

Even before the present unreality, public schools had a way of not focusing you adequately on reality.

“Educated” people are the dumbest people ever.

Example: 4000 years ago Aristotle said women had one less tooth. No “educated” people bothered to check until the last few hundred years.

Example 2: 4000 years ago Aristotle also said taking out enough blood would heal any diesease. 200 years ago “educated” people bled George Washington to death, along with thousands of other people before that.

Example 3: Thousands of women and children died in Ward 9, Hungary, because “educated” doctors wouldn’t listen to Semmelweis and wash their hands in carbolic acid after dissecting corpses and going on to deliver babies.

The medical profession in this country still practices ritual sexual mutilation of male infants. Another gift from the-you-know-whos.

Colleges and Universities, nowadays, are useless. Advise one’s children not to go there. Homeschool them instead, and focus not on social sciences and history but mathematics and logic. Forget about television!
    Television=mind control.
Buy lots of books, but not to read passively, but rather make it a game with your children to see how they can attempt to logically refute everything written in them. It might be fun to discover all the contradictions and logical fallacies that lace most books.
Personally, I regret ever watching television at all. Some, like the Society of Saint Pius the Tenth avoid watching it altogether!

But what if your kid wants to be an engineer? Or teach? There are quite a few professions that require a college degree now. The colleges are cesspools, but may be a necessary evil for a lot of career paths. A kid has to be guarded against indoctrination in college, but honestly, he needs protection in elementary school now. I hate to see people on our side just cede formal education to the other side.

And I just can’t believe that shutting yourself off from all TV, radio, and movies is any real option. I think it’s better to prepare them for the world they are going to enter, not so much wall it off. Although obviously it needs to be very selective, especially when they are young.

  5. #8 by Epiphany on 04/29/2012 - 6:53 am

I would also advise people to teach their children lots and lots of mathematics. In this way, they will not be taken in by the graphs and charts that are used by the Newspapers.
Newspapers are never to be read passively, but rather to be logically refuted.

    Homeschool is no solution, Epiphany.

The presidential candidate, Sanitarium, “home schools.” Most home school parents have only mainstream thinking to pass on. The feminist raised mothers have no homemaking skills to share or pass on, either. They are grateful that the state has finally stepped in with “home visits” and state approved books, and external testing.

Now— they can feel moral (we “homeschool like good conservatives”) while abnegating real responsibility (the state controls the education, really), and all the while paying their tax dollars (on the rare occasion they are not living ON taxes, to public schools, so non-whites who go there have the best of everything).

And in the midst, they lose any interest whatsoever in the real world, in their stay-at-home bubble.

There are exceptions to this rule, but not in my area.

Logic involves reality. Not finding a word that makes you moral, so you can abnegate responsibility to reality-based living, experiential living. Like how homeschool is a code word for “I am a moral conservative” whether it is true or not. Logic involves humility— understanding you’re not the center of the universe, nor is your learning, or your perspective, or your anything. Without real humility, (not humiliation) there is no thinking.

But there does seem to be evidence of a Dark Age after Rome fell. From the size of cattle to a dearth of goods found after the collapse of Rome, to shrinkage in male height, if I’m not mistaken.

It still seems reasonable that something like a Renaissance actually took place (even with all the bad mistakes). Although, I wonder if it wasn’t a genetic improvement as much as anything. The fall of Rome and the several dark centuries that followed sure look suspiciously dysgenic to me – but I’m no expert.

  8. #12 by BGLass on 04/29/2012 - 7:39 am

Any age that kills heretics and doesn’t allow people to think is dysgenic. It starts selecting for the people who best survive in that environment, the ones who kowtow, who don’t think for themselves, who are easily corruptible, who want to live on taxes, i.e. other people, whose creativity was nonexistent or simply exhausted, who can actually watch t.v., who have no self-generated interests, passions, who like to trust experts, who believe all they told, who look to great leaders, pundits, who have no critical faculty, etc. Those showing those qualities will be sidelined, to be sure.

  9. #13 by BGLass on 04/29/2012 - 7:53 am

Hopefully, people will start to notice someday there is no difference between “scholarly” books and mainstream t.v. shows which they call “propaganda.”

Both prove the exact same premises. Both are underwritten by the same underlying assumptions about the world, history, people, the role of the “human subject,” etc.

Why read a scholarly tome when you can watch American Idol and get the exact same messages.

The New Library can be about connecting dots—

the next question became why and who wants this?

  10. #14 by Peter Whiterabbit on 04/29/2012 - 8:07 am

“The Mainstream Media” is as outdated as these chained books. Only people who were alive when books were still chained still talk about “the Mainstream Media.”

The German National Socialists have traditionally been depicted and portrayed as White Supremacists. Nowadays, the Neo Conservatives say that said National Socialists were cosy with the Muslims. You see, I have pointed out a contradition in the whole Second World War narrative, and a big one at that. After all, most Muslims are hardly White.

I used to wonder what the Soviets and the Nazis actually believed, about themselves, their role in the war, and most importantly, about their millions of victims. As if i really wanted to know their side. Still, most of what is written about both Totalitarian Movements is so illogical, and so contradictory, that I realize that it was not worth all that effort.

Still, it could just be that most of what is written about them in English is just too illogical to be completely true. Perhaps, one fine day, i will learn both Russian and German so that I can finally get to the bottom of it all. That is why I emphasize Logic nowadays.

If White people actually are victimized for being White, they would not notice. At any rate, the Blacks and Jews would rationalize the victimization of Whites in terms of revenge for Slavery and the Holocaust respectively. Make no mistake, we Whites are all Germans now– and all White Southerners.

Indeed, They look for the slightest pretext to call one a German, or at any rate a German American. I hope that I can logically refute most of the anti-White drivel before it does more harm to our people.

  12. #16 by Epiphany on 04/29/2012 - 8:15 am

Look up the book “Totalitarian Rule” and you will see what I mean. From now on, I will not read another book about the 20th Century, until I have become proficient in the Logical Method. Still, the books written in English have many glaring contradictions in them about the Soviets and the Nazis. This caused me much confusion!

  13. #17 by Jason Here on 04/29/2012 - 8:17 am

By definition, most people will always be watching mainstream media outlets – that’s why they are called mainstream :). But the good news is they no longer DRIVE the culture and public information the way they used to be. Smart, independent people have all kinds of sites to go to now. They are still very powerful, but no longer a monopoly.

  14. #18 by Jason Here on 04/29/2012 - 8:25 am

On chained logic, I notice that when it comes to areas politics, history or any social science, people seem utterly unable to practice logic these days – even noticing small contradictions.

If it’s in the field of computer science, they will question the thinking of the smartest man they know. But they won’t dare question the moral and political precepts of their Kindergarten teacher. I have seen grown White men physically shake when confronted with obvious contradictions from their grade school Liberal teacher.

  15. #19 by Epiphany on 04/29/2012 - 9:05 am

Despite popular opinion, National Socialism is not about race. At any rate, the National Socialists were no more racist than say Roosevelt’s Democrats. Rooseveltists say all sorts of derrogatory things about the Japanese, whom the Germans admired. If anything, National Socialism, much like Soviet Communism, was merely a form of Wordism, although National Socialism was disguised as race consciousness.

Besides, there is next to no considerable or fundamental difference between the three Abrahamic Faiths of Judaism and Christianity and Islam. All were based upon scriptural religion– based upon books. All three were rejected by the Founding Fathers who were Freemasons and Deists to a man. The three way hatred between thoes faiths, over trifles, should seem humorous by now!

  16. #20 by Epiphany on 04/29/2012 - 9:11 am

Well, let the nonwhites have the colleges and universities. Perhaps, then, said places of “Higher Learning” will become like the ghettoes and the slums of the large cities. No White student needs the abuse that comes from “Sensitivity Training” and “Star Chambers.” By then, the Feminist professors will see if their ideological worldview really will take hold among the nonWhites, as it so tragically has among White womenfolk.

  17. #21 by Epiphany on 04/29/2012 - 9:23 am

Yes, if we do abandon the colleges and universities to the nonwhites, eventually they will become like the slums, ghettoes, and barrios of the Major Cities. Then, once there are no more Whites for them to pick on anymore, the nonwhite students would realize that it was all a sick joke, and the joke was on them. Affirmative Action will take care of itself.

Do you not see? The places of “Higher Education” are no longer that. Instead, they are filled with crime and disease, and all sorts of immorality.

The good thing about everything being this far gone is that there is no turning back. No reforms will do. As Horus says “pink rabbits have got to GO.
The Mantra, by itself, doesn’t seem so stupendous, but applied to everything going on, it makes everything anti-White, not only look evil, but Ridiculous.

The Internet is no solution to paying attention to the WRONG THINGS.

The Internet is no solution to investing your SINCERITY in things that don’t make sense.

The Internet is no solution to truly BELIEVING in things that don’t make sense.

And if you are waiting for the mass of society to correct these issues, you are going to have a LONG wait.

But ironically, this is precisely what constitutes the genius of the Mantra. For the Mantra to be effective as a PRACTICAL matter, it is NOT NECESSARY to wait for any of these issues to be corrected.

Most education is useful…if you decide to make use of it and never refuse to outgrow what they told you; the kiss of death is when you cling to bad education when something new comes along, usually because you made money, or got ego rubs from it. A commitment in moving toward reality, and learning new things, and being honest about your real life experience (versus what you’re told to repeat) can go along way.

It’s amazing what tender ears pick up anyway— if you want to know something, ask a five year old.

What we need to do is to realize that College Campuses are increasingly hostile to Whites, particularly White Men. And, they are increasingly hostile to those who oppose Communism for whatever reason whatsoever.

  22. #26 by beefcake on 04/29/2012 - 3:05 pm

Bugs is all about logic. We are surrounded by so much deceit in under the current system, that I find learning to function inside of it is of limited value.

Home schooling your kids, or teaching them the truth about the lessons in the public schools, to keep their eye open to reality and logic, is ultimately just buying us some time.

The Obvious thing is, the ENTIRE Anti-White system, which uses lies and deceit as its CORNERSTONE has to go.

By spreading the truth, we take out that cornerstone, and the whole kingdom of lies built on it crumbles.

The only long term solution to a system built on lies is to attack it with the most powerful too we have.

The Mantra is the truth forged into a WEAPON.

    SALLY FORTH!

Off topic, is there anywhere Bob has discussed pros and cons of Hitler? Lot of people in WN circles have a serious love affair with the guy. I don’t just mean skinheads. They seem to only see the good. Hitler was demonized and NS Germany very unfairly treated, but I can’t go along with cheerleading for the guy. And it seems obvious that once you identify with him in the US, you are done as a force – you will have zero political effectiveness. But beyond that, I don’t want to be bossed around by men in uniforms. Am I missing something?

    • #28 by Harumphty Dumpty on 04/29/2012 - 7:33 pm

      You’re missing the want-to-be-bossed-around-by-men-in-uniforms gene!

    • #30 by Gavin on 04/29/2012 - 8:00 pm

It seems to be a coping mechanism. The anti-White establishment has been so all pervasive and suppressed pro-Whites so much that it is only natural for pro-Whites to fetishize a previous quasi pro-White government. Also, a lot of them are just playing the role our enemies want us to play.

  24. #31 by BGLass on 05/01/2012 - 8:51 am

    You’re missing the want-to-be-bossed-around-by-men-in-uniforms gene!…

    — like a guy announcing he thinks getting kicked in the teeth in boot camp made him strong, or he saw Full Metal Jacket or some black drill sergeant kicks ’em in shape, and that’s what made him want to join up and get a clone outfit.

Seems like the Weakest Generation mentality on steroids.

Also— doubly cringe-making, because they show they are believing pure propaganda. They are not in love with any real version of the war (or the economic side of Fascism, which is Militarist-Corporatist-Medicalist), just the t.v. version, seems like.

Because they are not going to get their racial military state anytime soon, lol— they just wind up going on, making a case for socialized everything (privatized concentrated wealth and socialized losses).

Often ns seems to talk about pro-socialism ideas. But due to race, they can’t attract leftists, and even though they are called “extreme right” (while they are for state control), they can’t attract what many call “real conservatives.”

At this point, it seems hard to say what they are really about.

On VOR– Carolyn Yeager advocated “one religion” for white people. Probably the “orthodox nationalist” also (although he’s not really orthodox, but catholic, (“romanist cultist” from another point of view), but the main thing is like all conversions, it can only go so deep— one can never really convert, only chose another influence NOW. I listen to him, think the name’s matt johnson, just to hear the ultimate in disdain for my own religious background, which is protestant– and proud, thank you).

In any case— this one religion mentality exposes just the same impulse for total sameness as t.v. nazis— Mental Uniforms.

Suggested sentence: “I am so very sorry for whatever was done to you to make you desire that.” (lol) And then the mantra.
