Despite our discipline, the Old Man would like to enjoy the privilege of every now and then, for one day, of breaking ranks and telling you telling you irrelevant stuff for fun.

Until about 1960, the maps showed two only two states that were legally dry, Oklahoma and Mississippi. In Oklahoma this was straightforward: alcoholic drinks were prohibited with all the earnestness and success that the policy had been pursued under Prohibition.

But if you moved from the Dry State of Oklahoma to the Dry State of Mississippi, you would have been terribly confused.

You see, the reason Mississippi was officially dry was because the Baptists and others wanted their state to have prohibition. And they had it: Mississippi banned the making, transportation and sale of all alcoholic beverages, with prescribed penalties, throughout the state.

Now come the complications, which delight me as a political scientist. The twenty first amendment which abolished the Prohibition in the eighteenth amendment has an interesting — to me — addition. It specifically gives over power over policy with regard to alcohol to the states.

As a result, passenger trains in interstate transportation, which were specifically under the interstate commerce clause under Federal jurisdiction, had to be close the Club Car when they passed from wet Louisiana to dry Mississippi. I do not know whether a truck carrying bourbon from Tennessee to the thirsty New Orleans market really had to go around Mississippi.

Another ingenious addition to the Mississippi dry law was just plain fun. The only person who could ENFORCE the dry law was the county sheriff.

So on the map, Mississippi looked like the Only Deep South Bible Belt Holdout Against Demon Rum.

Inside the state it looked a lot like local option.

A LOT of local option. Unlike other local option states, the State of Mississippi did not have a single law with respect to alcohol. Biloxi elected a sheriff who made the place so wet it embarrassed New Orleans, where mixed drinks were served in supermarkets.

If liquor does not exist, how can you regulate it?

But the crowning touch is yet to come. The beer and liquor tax is fundamental to state financing. But there could be no taxation of something that was totally outlawed. So, I kid you not, Mississippi established a Black Market Commission. Any item sold on the Black Market was subject to taxation.

The Black Market Tax, unlike Prohibition, was enforced by the state government. So if you bought liquor in a store it had to have the Black Market Commission stamps, and of course Federal stamps, on it.

But there was no real regulation. I fondly remember going to a liquor store and buying a half pint of clear alcohol whose only label was, “Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, Route 3, Hattiesburg, Mississippi.” It was written by hand and stuck on the bottle, along with the stamps and nothing else.

I just enjoyed telling you this.

Maybe we could get a moral out of it and not spoil the fun. We COULD tax illegal drugs.

Alcohol is a drug, and Mississippi taxed it.

This is my first time posting on this site, though I read it often and “amateur swarm” on my own, without reporting.

That being said, I was prompted to post this because of the note of disappointment (more so than frustration) which I detected in Bob’s post. Of course, I could be totally wrong, but that’s how I took it. Bob & the BUGSters are the last people I want to see discouraged. So, my thought:

Is the refusal of DD and DB to fully endorse and utilize the Mantra even a bad thing? My understanding of BUGS is that it feels that the old “educational”, N&J approach has utterly failed. I think Horus said in one of his podcasts that if it was going to work, it would have worked by now. So BUGS is about influencing the masses in the way they are ACTUALLY influenced, not in the manner that we would PREFER them to be influenced. So you use a consistent message and, if you will, “healthy propaganda”.

BUGSters do not use n****r in their posts, they do not go on Third Reich rants, and they rarely, if at all, mention YKW. My understanding of your work is that you do this to avoid the preconditioned triggers that people have due to their brainwashing.

That is, if someone mentions “YKN” in a hostile light, or talks favorably of “Mein Fur”, or calls someone on Youtube a n****r, the brainwashed, white & normal person whom you are trying to reach will immediately SHUT DOWN and tune you out. “Well, the J’s…” and you have lost that person. “Mein Fur…” and you have lost that person. “N****r…” and you have lost that person.

Not to criticize DD or DB FOR WHO THEY ARE (I know nothing about them, really), but in terms of WHAT THEY ARE PERCEIVED TO BE: I would say this could even be a good thing for BUGS.

For the life of me, I can’t see how David Duke getting behind the Mantra is going to make a big difference in reaching the Sleeping White Titan, normal white folks. Why? Because, IMO, “David Duke”, in their minds, is synonymous with a KKKlovingnaziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews. I would imagine that the vast majority of his “real world” results and hits comes from people who are already awakened, with possibly some Muslims (due to the common ground on how they view YKW), and anti-Whites monitoring his site.

I very much doubt that too many apple-pie eating church goers and brainwashed sports fans would tune into David Duke, because “David Duke” probably flips their triggers and shuts them down as much as n****r and swastikas and praising Zyklon-B does.

The same thing with DB. DB will never be introduced on a t.v. show without connecting him to SF. SF is a trigger word, just like DD or Mein Fur. IMO it’s a “no go” with the brainwashed masses. Once again, not in terms of WHO THEY ARE, but in terms of HOW THEY ARE PERCEIVED, having them use the mantra over and over might be tantamount, to the brainwashed masses, to having the 3K’s publicly start using the mantra. Is that really a good thing? Would it really help the mission of BUGS if the Mantra, which struggles to have the moral high round in the minds of the BRAINWASHED audience, was inextricably wed to SF, DD, and the 3K’s?

As someone once said… “Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. If it is, the skins burst and the wine is spilled and the skins are destroyed. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.”

BUGS is new wine, and this new wine has been poured into Horus, johnnywhiterabbit, Beefcake, et al. (I hate to leave someone out, but I can’t name all of you!), and a plethora of powerful and unique YouTube videos. I would wager that the “How Whites took over America” video reached more of the unconverted “white and normal” than the past two years’ worth of DD’s videos, which were probably just preaching to the choir.

BUGS, the Mantra, etc., is the best hope for whites, and is the spearhead of creativity and energy and vitality. You have made a difference, are making a difference, and will make a difference.

I think Horus talked in his podcasts about something like a “top-to-bottom” or “bottom-to-top” connection, like lightning, when a public figure is going to start talking Mantra-speak. I would imagine that it will probably be someone we have never heard of, and might not even suspect… and they will probably be “white-and-normal”… those are the leaders who will probably make a difference, if any…

The location of the East Tennessee meeting was actually kept a secret. There were pieces in national publications wondering where it would be.

Sometimes mystery is more interesting than specifics.

I will reveal to you that the meeting was up a mountain a ways.

This is not exactly a revelation. To say something is up a mountain a ways in East Tennessee is like revealing that it was in California within a hundred miles of the Pacific coast. Not exactly dead GPS reckoning.

I had bitched at the last meeting that I was sick of not getting to speak at conferences until I had listened to the Name speakers and only got on when I was really exhausted. So in a fine act of courtesy they put Ole Bob first this time, with Horus as the other speaker to hold the old man up.

I then went back to my motel and slept through the rest of the conference. I was exhausted, and I had another problem I didn’t realize for a while.

As I said, the meeting place was up a mountain and the way there involved driving round and round and round in sharp turns.

When I was a kid, we went to my grandfather’s house regularly, and it was on top of a mountain. Back then before interstate, the drive up and down involved round and round and round sharp curves. I remember once in the evening seeing my face reflected in the mirror, and I was white as chalk.

This doesn’t happen when I’m driving, but I could never have found the place on my own, so I rode.

I had done my little bit and I just couldn’t go up there again. I felt like hell.

So my apologies to Don and Dave and the conference organizers for putting me on first. I don’t think I could have listened to all the other speakers AND ridden up and down the mountain BEFORE finally speaking.

My apologies for missing out the last part of the get-together. It was my only chance so far to enjoy the thing with my speech over, so I paid a price for it myself.

And I apologize for revealing that the meeting was somewhere “on a mountain in East Tennessee.” But I doubt the other side can use that.

I am not going to presume to teach David Duke his business. He remains one of my heroes and the only man who dares stand where he does.

At the East Tennessee meeting, after Horus and I handed out the Mantra and were allowed to speak first, a fact appreciated by a tired old man, David explained why he does not use the Mantra. David is dealing in hundreds of millions of hits each week, and when he switches from talking about Jews to speaking as a white man for whites he gets a huge drop.

Dr. Duke, out in the real world, finds defense of the white race as a white man, a losing proposition.

No matter how we may bitch about that, he is out there in the real world getting a real and enormous audience. He and Don get sniped enough by people who do nothing and attack them for ideological impurity or say they are underground Israeli agents, and I am not going to join that crowd.

Dave’s response is therefore non-racial. He advocates that all races should be preserved as a sort of Whole Earth thing that appeals to his audience.

So there we have it. He will advocate white survival, but only very obliquely and only very carefully.

Don Black found the Mantra approach very useful in a short press interview, but it is not the basis of a viable large-scale program.

Yet.

Well, if white survival was practical in the short term someone would have taken it up.

I did predict that a 9/11 would take center stage a couple of years before 9/11. I did point out that the Clintons were running on the basis of being “white blacks,” and, long before she went down in flames to Obama, I said that after all these years of supporting white Democrats who represented blacks, they would soon demand a real, honest-to-God BLACK man.

And the group which will represent whites, by far the most powerful racial group, when each group has spokesmen, will demand white survival.

It gives you an idea how hard this will be to do when you consider that even David Duke can’t do it.

But, like 9/11 and the actual black president, it will come to pass.

“… abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

There is not just a right to free speech. There is a right to hold meetings, ESPECIALLY meetings of people who are called “extremists.”

Approved people have no reason to NEED such a right to be specified.

I hear a lot about free speech for the big media, but nobody mentions the right to peacefully assemble.

This is in the Constitution because the people who wrote it were themselves threatened by death for meeting for “extremist” purposes.

It does NOT say “the right to assemble for a politically correct purpose.”

The usual way of forbidding our meetings, especially on campus, is by saying that, while police will protect anyone ELSE from being harassed, “they cannot protect people from violence” if the meetings are about heretical or extreme purposes. So our meetings are routinely forbidden because THOSE WHO ARE NOT MEETING PEACEABLY will cause trouble. So the right to peaceably assemble is thrown out because thugs won’t like the meetings.

Considering they, the Founding Fathers, put in the first amendment because they themselves had been extremists and were threatened with thug violence, the idea that a group loses its right to free speech and assembly because THE OTHER SIDE might get violent with them would have been just what British authorities USED up to 1775.

When the Founding Fathers were talking “Treason” in 1775, someone who said it was OK to ban their meetings because they might cause riots — which they did — would not be looked upon as sane by the people who wrote the first amendment.

Allowing heretical views and extremist views AND THE RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE despite thugs was PRECISELY the reason for the first amendment.

Fortunately, no one brings it up.

Language is the ability to be understood. It’s simply part of being a group.

Blacks developed Ebonics because they don’t want anyone else to understand them.

Mommy Professor speaks Greek and Latin for that same reason. If a peasant like you or I were to speak Greek and Latin, Mommy Professor would speak English.

If Mommy Professor and us peasants spoke the same language they’d soon end up getting thrown out of their influential positions.

In a nutshell; the reason why Mommy Professor speaks Latin is to make small-minded people look big.

In 1900 Americans Indians were known as the Vanishing Americans. As a result they were given reservations.

For whites there can be no reservations.

In fact one of the of the SPLC’s great victories, for which it raised many millions, was to destroy the white reservation in Idaho. They are still raising money to get more blacks into northern Idaho.

Compared to anti-whites, Hitler was a piker. He offered to send Jews to America for ransom. There is no where on earth which will even allow anyone to TALK about white survival for ransom or otherwise.

Once again, no one talks about the real problem here:

If any area is allowed to be all-white, it is assumed that ALL whites will end up there. Anti-whites have a word for it: It’s called White Flight.

It is exactly the same problem that showed Communism was ridiculous: If they allowed people to leave, the people WOULD leave.

But no one ever MENTIONED that but me.

The entire anti-white movement relies on the assumption that if whites are allowed to have ANY area of its own, there will be flow into those areas which will drain all other areas of whites.

Talking about white flight is quite an admission.

The Berlin Wall was quite an admission.

Fortunately, absolutely no one on the other side is ever going to mention it.
