BUGSERS, You Have Each Other!

Not in the book but in the movie, Robinson Crusoe leaves some thieves on the island where he dwelt for so many years.

Having spent decades absolutely alone he said to them, “You have each other.” hardly something that would occur to one as a gift, since they were all nasty bastards, but for Crusoe, anything was better than being absolutely alone.Photobucket

I do appreciate commenters who sympathize with the decades I spent absolutely with simple, obvious truths. It is was impossible for anyone to understand what Crusoe meant fully unless they had spent all those decades alone.

But I can say, with exactly the same authority:

“BUGSERS, you have each other!”

If you empathize with me, the same feeling will help you understand what a blessing you are to each other.
