When our Populist Forum scheduled marches and press conferences, our main concern was what was NOT in the news.
Membership outfits in DC like the Heritage Foundation go with the headlines. That is when we MADE news for news-starved reporters.
We rode on the silences. This is an indication of the difference in how BUGS should view the world. You raise money by reading the latest news. We gain attention at this stage by making news they can use.
Slow news days are big problems for the press. A coming cause has to produce interesting stuff for that period. That is why New Dawn is such a continuing story. That is why a White House Petition with four hundred signatures can make national.
The last time I did this, we got attention for the coalition with the hated “Wallace Democrats” and coat and tie conservatives that elected Reagan. Nothing in the news ever did a bigger job. It was effective because we MADE it news.
Not one Soviet expert had anything to do with the collapse of Soviet Empire. We and our slow news days approach were absolutely indispensable to it.

It is attending to very obvious things that make history.
It is ironic that people for the most part simply don’t want to do this.
There is a perversity that makes people want to attend to things that don’t make sense. Robert Whitaker has been fighting this all his life. What come first? Perversity or the news? The “news” wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for this perversity, this obsession with things that don’t make sense.
The “news” is an incoherent narrative of incoherency. It’s nonsense and white noise. Extracting real information from it is almost impossible.
This is no different that the “history” the Establishment relates to claim its “mandate of heaven”. The “history” it relates is nonsense. It’s incoherent. There is NO CONNECTION between what it asserts happened and what actually happened. NO CONNECTION whatsoever.

Interesting Mantra-esque experience over Easter with family.
I learned something by practice — when arguing, questions are often better than answers!
A family member commented they were “opposed to the freedom loving gun toting radicals in the US that have such a sordid history of attacking Indians and destroying cultures. THAT curtailment of freedom is what we need.”
Instead of engaging this I simply responded that
‘Wow, there is a lot of bigotry and hatred towards Southerners, rednecks and other white trash.
I hope I haven’t left anyone out!!”
“But where does this intolerance come from?. Don’t you understand diversity? Perhaps if you got to know them you would see they’re just like you.”
Don’t be a hater. I’m very disappointed to hear such attitudes.

Well, to my surprise this simple statement, said almost apologetically, made him go ballistic.
He was really upset–because I believe it was a loss of status!
What was funny is that I didn’t see this at first!! But his wife was telling him to calm down! (WHY??)
I actually had to tell him I’m not arguing, just asking a question!!
I was evident that the ability to CONDESCEND to me and others is key to his motives and his views. He looked for a way to be superior and in frustration actually tried to pat me on the head!!
I wish I had though of it at the time- I should have told him to “stop it–we’re not on the plantation anymore!” (Damn!)
The only time I started to lose control is when I argued: instead when I just asked questions, and made statements, he lost.
When he said that these ‘people’ are the REAL cause of so much violence in the US I just said:
“Why are you so resentful and anxious to control people?
“They’re not dangerous. Don’t be scared of change!!!”
There’s a time to deal steel and a time for a velvet tongue. You should know the difference”
This made him smile–he said “I like that line–where did you come up with that?”……

Same here my father and law was goin on about how i was a nazi and a bigot…then i ASKED him if he understood the international law of genocide..his response was the typical mass murder and gas chambers. I then informed him of the true definition and used tibet as an example he responded with “you’re right! That is genocide) THEN and only then did i begin to explain whats happening in white countries and only white countries and at first i got the usual “well slavery and colonialism) then i asked him if HIS children or his GRANDCHILDREN should be punished for crimes they did not commit and his answer was NO…this wad in front of 24 family members the head of the family had admitted this is not proper…a die hard state employee liberal…ive noticed using tibet as a segway and having them agree FORCES them to concede there anti white tendencies when questioned on white genocide after admitting to the tibetan genocide…my wife was very proud 🙂

Daniel is right. Having you post the Mantra for the next several years is the most valuable thing you can do for your people. Getting caught up in some legal trouble or losing a job would just hinder that.

This piece helped me understand how to play the press better. I believe people in politics sometimes call handling the Press “feeding the beast”, because the Press is like a hungry beast that needs to be fed daily.
Having things for them to cover and quote is a way to take advantage of that.
And the point about MAKING news versus just following news is not lost. We can’t choose the timing of when they focus on our message (as far as I know) but having it all ready for them when the Beast gets hungry is something we CAN do.

I’ve got to remark on the series of articles giving coverage to “#WhiteGenocide” from the Indiana University college news-website.
It was great to see those young minds grapple with the concept of White geNOcide. They didn’t dismiss it out-of-hand as their “mommy professors” must have surely advised, but instead tried to break down the concept with logical argument, giving the consistent message a platform for publicity. It encourages all B. U. G. S. ers to continue to look for opportunities at college news organizations to see how much more grey goo can be spread.
