Looks like someone has posted a petition for Delbert Belton but I’m not seeing anything for Chris Lane. Someone also posted one for Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, nice to see their murders finally starting to see the light of day again.

No change. Leave at as you wrote it prior to my first reply. Stop second-guessing yourself.

We have a proven track record. Run with it and hope they see this News.

@ seapea: I agree that it would be best if we could put it up right now, and if someone wants to put it up right now and try to get the 150 signatures somehow, that’s fine with me.

My strong bet…hopefully wrong…is that you will have a very hard time getting the signatures from SF (I posted the petition on the main SF thread about Lane, and SF’ers were NOT screaming put it up put it up we can’t wait to sign it. Please excuse my bitter cynicsm from 10 months of trying to get signatures at SF). Probably not a huge problem except for your waste of time…if it’s not up by the FIRST (Lol…it will NOT be!), I’ll tweak it slightly and run it again with the help of the Stalwarts to get it up (that’s what they’re for, and I don’t want to start calling on them otherwise than on the FIRST), and you can let the first one die and not go up.

@ seapea: Checking your two links to the petitions for the other murders, I suddenly realize that if I knew how to use Facebook and twitter, the Stalwarts would probably not even be necessary. I’ve got to do those two things pronto and start experimenting with them.

In the meantime, if someone thinks they can get up the Lane petition by those methods, I assume you’re correct in that, and please go for it. I agree that right now is better than later!

I just tried to open a facebook account, and they insist on sending me a text message to confirm, and I don’t have a cell phone. This kind of stuff drives me up the wall and it’s why I procrastinate doing ANYTHING new with a damned computer!!

Those of you who’re comfortable with all this f*cking technology have no idea the rage and frustration that those of us who aren’t go through trying to do just what apparently are the simplest things.

Do you have a friend or family member that can confirm your account with their phone?… I know its ridiculous, but they did it to avoid false profiles.

assuming you havent set up numerous FB profiles recently – the reason why it might be asking you for a cell phone verification is because you might be using a proxy.

If you are using a proxy – disable it – create a new account with a different email

EWR, thanks, but it’s not necessary…FB apparently doesn’t like my proxy. I was able to get a couple of accounts set up.

OK folks, petition created. Let’s push it everywhere so we can get those 150 sigs. I’m going to start with #ChrisLane on Twitter. If we can get folks to post it over SF, FB, YT that would great.

Oh no! I just put up the same one (but with the other headline!) Lol!

What do we do now? I don’t know! 😀

Seapea, I’ll change mine to yours. I think it’s a toss-up between the two headlines, and you got the Stalwarts URL in at the bottom (how did you DO that??)

Seapea, give me your short URL if you saved it.

Seapea, I’m not able to edit this thread I started here. If you can, please make the appropriate changes when you can.

I messaged Mjodr to sticky your thread at SF, and told him he could omit mine if he wished…I left it up to him. I’m too tired to think.

I think I’ll send the SF Stalwarts something…just an invitation “if you’re interested” sort of thing. I’d tentatively planned to do that when I put up mine.

I don’t have the juice to edit the thread.

Hitting up the Stalwarts would great.

My twitter account must be BLACK/GREY LISTED, since my #ChrisLane tweets aren’t showing up on the hashtag this morning.

I sent invitations…I didn’t want to be pushier than that…to 103 SF Stalwarts and camp followers. About 30 of those are bugsers.

Mjodr can’t sticky yours since it’s in the news section. It looks like we’ll have both SF threads running.

Good work seapea! I see what you left out to squeeze the URL of the Stalwarts in, and I’d been thinking of omitting that too…I think it’s an improvement!

I should put something up on wgp about it…I’ll do that now.
