    A bugster PM’d me that he was going to start posting our monthly White House petitions widely, and I responded:

    That would be great. THE PETITIONS ARE JUST MINI-MANTRAS, and posting them accomplishes the SAME THING as posting a mini, while also doing MUCH MORE:

    1. Posting a mini as a White House “petition” gives the mini a more official status because that mini is also being publicly displayed at the seat of governance and the residence of the United States’ chief executive officer.

    2. Posting the petition strengthens the public display of its mini at one of the most glorious public soapboxes imaginable, the freaking White House!

    3. Getting people to be active is in large part getting them to form a habit that they haven’t acquired, and clicking a few initials onto a “petition” is a MUCH SIMPLER first step toward activism than even just copying our Mantra phrases into public postings.

    It’s extraordinary that we are broadcasting STOP WHITE GENOCIDE messages from, of all places, the United States’ WHITE HOUSE!
