Please Read the Comments!

I would like to be able to assume that whoever is reading the Blog has also read the comments.

Otherwise, every time someone corrects me or gives a balance to what I said, I have to highlight it in the body of the Blog.

I personally clear each comment. Given the huge amount of spam, that is some effort, so I have invested some effort in the comments.

If you read the comments and realize that I clear each one, you will see that if I expect my readers to put me on a pedestal, it is the kind of pedestal statues sit on, giving the pigeons a clear shot.

Peter has been doing some much-needed cheerleading for some good commenters. I should have done it, but he is doing it, so I don’t have to.

Peter has been coming down on me like an avalanche lately.

No problem, quite the opposite.

The one thing that makes me sick to my stomach is people who can dish it out but can’t take it, and Peter makes it perfectly clear that I not only can take it, I ASK for it. Peter may be right or he may be wrong. This is just a reminder that Ole Bob may be right or he may be wrong, but he lets loose without let.

In other words, Peter knows the rules.

I have said repeatedly that I am fair game.

All this does is make it easier for me to write. I can say exactly what I think without fear that somebody is going to hesitate to contradict me.

If you can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen.

Bob’s Blog is a hot kitchen with lots of pots on the stove.

“Name the Jew Contest.”

I see. You are taking sides in the incident leading to the firing of the eldest Moderator who believes that to fight the enemy one must first know who he is.

MY REPLY:

I never know what to do when somebody accuses me of subtlety.

If I am taking sides in something, you will know it.

Many, many times I would explain somethingin detail and the person I am talking to would say something like, “Oh, so what you mwan is that my mother is ugly.”

Don’t do that to me.
