Bob, I seem to remember you were going to tell us how John Ashcroft prevented a Martin Luther King holiday for years before he died. Let’s hear it!

Richard, if you cannot tell the difference between John Ashbrook, a friend to whom I was deeply loyal, and that sewer rat Ashcroft, I will wait until you catch up.

I’m not really all that upset. I mix names all the time, and John Ashbrook dies a quarter of a century ago, so “Ashbroft” comes to mind. But the next time I screw up one of YOUR names, maybe you can remember that I took this so lightly

Granted that my friend John would spin in his grave if he heard himself mixed up with Ashcroft, but with things the way they are, he simply can’t spin any faster.
