Never trust anybody who desn’t pronounce the “w” in the word dog.
I was reading a bok called Dogspeak some time back. I love dogs.
One thing I learned was that dogs are more social than people are. The author pointed out that, unlike what I had assumed, dogs do not resent leashes. That kind of worried me, snce leash laws, though necessary, keep them from running free. But the author said that to the dog, the leash means you are going to walk WITH him.
Also, I had read the conventional wisdom that puppies lick older dogs to get them to vomit them up some food, so a puppy’s lick is nt the wonderful thing we think. As always, anulterior motive makes the writer look smart. The vet said that was nonsense. When a dog licks your face, even a puppy, it means you are the greatest thing in the world to him.
I was happy to see that. Being licked by a puppy is one of the few honest, delightful expressions of love this tired old world has to offer.

As an Aussie, I do not pronounce the letter “w” in the word “dog”. But that’s okay, I know that you are NOT saying that my mother is ugly. 😉
Dogs are fascinating creatures. Here’s something I recently learnt. You know how dogs are always sniffing fire hydrants, electricity poles, their best friend’s backside? From these smells, dogs can gather an incredible amount of information about the dog who left them. They can find out the dog’s sex, age, social status, sexual status, emotional status, territory/ownership, genetic relatedness, whether he is a member of their pack, whether he is a friend or a foe, and his level of confidence.
No wonder they are sniffing around all the time; they are catching up on all the neighbourhood gossip!
As for licking, when dogs do this they are also saying that they respect and are submissive to the canine or human they are licking.
Another interesting fact: dogs naturally dislike people of races other than the one they grow up around. During a dog’s human socialisation period (from 3 weeks of age), breeders are told to give puppies contact with humans of all different ages, backgrounds and races. If they don’t, the dog will naturally protect its own people and dislike people other than his own. This programming fails, however, if and when the dog has a negative experience with other races. Life lessons learned during a dog’s primary socialisation period are permanent and will be retained in the memory of the dog for life. We know that this effect is mirrored in humans. A lot of people will fiercely believe multi-cult propaganda until they finally get to experience “diversity” for themselves.
The dogs of the European world are on our side. They know that if we lose, they will too. I think the way that non-Whites treat animals, particularly dogs, says a hell of a lot about their race. Dogs pick up on this. They pick up on all sorts of cues that show that other races do not have their peoples’ best interest at heart.
