Extension on Biological Engineering and Race

Posted by Bob on July 6th, 2007 under History

At the end of 1800s the wireless telegraphy moved slowly from picking up resonance across a lawn without a wire to a mile away to line-of-sight to ship-to-ship to transatlantic. Despite the telephone, there were learned articles about how VOICE on the new medium was a laughable idea.

In the 1950s one of the top comic strips was Dick Tracy. Tracy had only one high-tech gadget, a “wrist telephone.” There were many discussions of whether such a two-way radio could ever be made small enough to go on one’s wrist. For one thing, all radio transmitters required a vacuum tube and an electrical supply for it.

A couple of years ago I saw a pair of wrist radios on sale to a generation that never heard of Dick Tracy for three dollars, about a quarter back then.

“You can’t do that anymore than you can FLY” But all of us have flown. Technology has a way of catching up with Timeless Wisdom when that Timeless Wisdom depends entirely on what cannot be done technologically. Which is anther way of saying that a society based on the acquisition of knowledge, of simple truth, has a way of rendering the Practical Man’s flat statements absurd.

Which becomes OUR problem.

It is relatively easy to talk about some version of the economic collapes of the 1930s, about which we have abundant quotes and which everybody can see in their minds. Meanwhile the actual revolution is literally right in front of us. Every day your cell phones and computers change the parameters of our society. But we keep talking about economic collapse because, as Charles Issawi pointed out, like generals who are always planning the last war, social scientists are always looking forward to the last crisis.

If you want a PICTURE of what I am talking about, try to imagine a roundtable of Practical Men sitting down in 1907 to discuss the Future of the Mass Media in 2007. I do not live in the present, so tome it is always HILARIOUS to hear someone quoting the latest Coming Crisis in terms of a popular book written by an Expert.

TO BE an Expert on the mass media in1907, you would have to know all about the LIMITATIONS of technology in that age. Everything we are ACTUALLY talking about now would be as hilarious to them as everything THEY would actually have discussed to us.

But this is OUR problem, not THEIRS. The Experts and Futurolgists will get paid no matter how silly they repeatedly prove to be. They get paid and promoted in the NOW, not THEN. But if you are trying to save our race, the future is all that matters.

This is critical, not to the Experts, but to US:

BEING RIGHT ABOUT THE FUTURE IS SURVIVAL.

And you’re not going to figure out the future just by quoting what is being said now.

Some quick thoughts on the biological revolution:

One, it has already taken place on one level, with consequences for society as profound as any technological shift, with the commonly available birth control pill. We STILL aren’t done dealing with the implications of the First Biological Revolution, by a long shot.

Two, as I have mentioned previously, a military sci-fi writer named S. M. Stirling did a trilogy of books called “The Domination,” an alternative history where the Loyalists who lost in the Revolutionary War, and the former leadership of the Confederacy, take over South Africa, and decide that not only does “Might Make Right,” but adopt a RACIAL philosophy that makes Nietzsche look like Mary Poppins.

    Stay with me here.

In the conflict with Eurasia, and America, they decided early in the Twentieth Century to put their Creative efforts into biological engineering, while the rest of the West follows the engineering path of physical sciences.

In The great Conflict, eventually, they win; smarter people, “better” people, working with a RACIAL focus in a society that makes Sparta look like a nursery. (Stirling also worked rather forthrightly with the Virile Female archetype; one of the consequences of our First Biological Revolution is that women will be freed up to seek more power, and men will have to relearn the lessons of responsibility, or face neutralization.)

Aristotle noted that, following the collapse of societies after Democracy takes hold, a Meritocratic Elite arises from the ashes, and, in effect, self-organizes to form the Foundation of the Next Social Order.

I note, in passing, that China has well-developed genetic engineering experiments under way, and an Elite that has no illusions about how the world works. Able to experiment prodigiously in this area, with a Mindset that routinely encompasses centuries, with the Family at the center of society, DAMN but I anticipate serious competition from the Chinese Elite starting mid-way in this century. Just imagine if you could raise the average IQ of their children ten percent per generation…

    “Brave New World,” indeed.

Speaking of biology, I am always surprised that in warfare and fighting so much focus is still placed on physical damage. Boom boom, bang bang, shoot this and blow up that.

The flu of 1918 killed more people than the horrendous war which preceded it.

Suicide bomber? What about a suicide sneezer?

Speaking of warfare. I’m surprised people still concentrate so much on killing.

Who needs to kill your opponents to win a war?

Most warfare happens without the need to find a way to kill the enemy. Warfare is struggle, and you dont need to kill your opponent to overpower them.

This is one of the shortcomings of western thought. People think that because other races aren’t shooting at us and trying to kill us, that we are not at ‘war’ with them.

Even in times of peace, there is war.
Even with peaceful multiracialism, there is a battle for supremacy. Even if it is just producing children and waiting to inherit. That is still war.

We ARE in a war, but it is not a shooting war. It is a war for space, for ideas, for ownership of our countries and preservation of our nation.

China will no be a threat to us, they are on the verge of their own civil war. china is an ecological wasteland, they are experiencing massive civil unrest, they have an insolvent banking systtem and they can’t even feed all of their own people.

In the future we will use food as our greatest weapon because only the White race can feed the world. The Chinese would still be decades behind us technologically, were it not for what they stole or purchased from the West.

White people know and are heavily influenced by the the classic poem: “For want a nail, a shoe was lost. For want of a shoe, a horse was lost, etc. etc…….” (I think this poem is a literary manifestation of a central tendency of white people, almost wholly inaccessible to brown and black skinned races, to be motivated to solve real and enduring problems.)

Futurologists get it wrong because they can never figure out or acknowledge what the compelling “want” is of THEIR TIME.

For example, think of all the nonsense we have lived through regarding predictions of what computers would do for us. But the real “value add” of computers has been organizational accountability. Because of email with its indelible recordkeeping features no one organizationally these days can get away with such ancient accountability avoidance mechanisms such as, “You never said that” or “You never told me to do that” or “You never warned me”, or “I was not informed”, etc, etc.

The “want” that computers satisfied was organizational accountability and its handmaiden, effective coordination of group activities. Most futurologists just plain failed to predict this as the most salient economic outcome of computerization. This is because they were part of the problem, the problem they were subconsciously motivated NOT TO SEE: e.g., the need for better accountability in formal organizations.

Likewise regarding current mankind’s great genetic distress: Our ailments, ugliness, and stupidity need to get cured BEFORE BIRTH, all the religious and ideological moralizing of dealing with these problems AFTER BIRTH being irrelevant. That is the most compelling “want” of our time. Therefore, it is easy to predict that this cure will come into being and the “want” of preventing the occurrence of a lifetime of suffering by genetic interventions BEFORE BIRTH will get satisfied.

Bob- is there any way to figure out the future?

See America during the First Great Depression?

Every system was transformed, including the very nature of the relationship between the government, and the governed, and the central government itself, in what Yockey called The American Revolution of 1933.

Starvation, banking system failure, ecological collapse (the Dust Bowl), massive civil unrest (the country was much more closer to radical transformation than many realize; pace Upton Sinclair’s EPIC plan).

All met their counterpoints as the Creative RACE developed new social and economic systems, with World Word II acting as the incentive to meld these components into a new social order.

Today, I’d be careful about referring to insolvent financial systems; I suspect the failure of the FAS to even define “derivatives” to the point that they can be managed, and the marking to market of the “assets” developed and marketed by the derivative shops known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, imply that big changes are in store for us, as well.

Understand that China can practice wholesale eugenics with little fear of retribution; the collapsing internal agriculture economy can be replaced with food purchases from overseas; seen any increase in the development of a blue water Chinese fleet?

I agree that China may well face an internal civil war; it won’t be the first, in their history, and it won’t be the last, but they can do an amazing amount of consolidation and transformation on the other side of it.

Remember what Mao said, when threatened with atomic war: “We can easily afford to lose half of the population.” I think those would be the “useless eaters”…

    in reply:
But, the Chinese aren’t burdened by archaic infrastructure; state of the art cell phone technology, and the IP6 Internet system, put them ahead in information technology systems.

Remember the Iron Law of Oligarchy; in any bureaucracy, an Elite runs the show, regardless of appearances to the contrary.

China’s oligarchs have had centuries, and will move forward with genetic engineering with amazing rapidity.

Trust me – there no no limits of treatment of embryos, much less “stem cells,” in China, and there never will be.

Forty years ago, a science fiction writer, John Brunner, wrote a book called “Stand on Zanzibar.” A genetic engineer claimed a stable system of eugenics, and the problem the country (something like Malaysia) faced was how to deal with the vast number of Western “tourists” coming to take advantage of this technology.

Think of it in terms observable behavior; Elizabeth Warren has written that a large component of the growth in suburban housing is double-income parents buying up the prices of new houses in “good areas,” where the “good new schools” are.

Now, if this isn’t the socially acceptable equivalent of “eugenics,” what is?

They might as well wear t-shirts with your trademark signature:

Well are we supposed to be at war forever? It’s exausting and not encouraging for the young. Right now science and religion seem to be at war too, and no one knows how to solve that, as no one knows the WHOLE truth. But, it needs to be solved. The only thing I do know that I can’t support, is our racial suicide or genocide.
