OK due to my gross stupidity I lost every program on my computer. I cant even log in to the blog because roboform wont work. There wont be an upgrade untill I get this sorted out.

BoardAd, if you take responsibility, you are GOING to screw up. That’s the definition of “taking responsibility.” It takes guts, which is why nobody DOES it.

    I can’t see how WE’ve LOST anything.

I knew a secretary, not a Secretary, at the Defense Department who lost a whole infantry battalion for a week by sending it to the wrong end of the country.

Stop whipping yourself and get on with business.

Oh no Bob, I didn’t lose anything on the blog, but I destroyed my computer.

I’ve never been particularly fond of this operating system because it has always given me lots of problems. Last night after it crashed I decided to do a repair install using an HP program. The operating system is fine now, but all my wonderful programs are dead. since roboform, the automatic password filler, has all my passwords I’m locked out of WOL. I’m very dependant on this one machine.

I don’t blame myself, I blame HP for this mess, it’s their program that ate my registry. I have three hours to go to see if the back up I made a couple days ago has any affect.

The restore worked and I’m back to business as usual.

Has that new computer feel too 😛
