Disagreeing With American Renaissance

Posted by Bob on April 17th, 2011 under Coaching Session

Much of my time and strength have been wasted over the decades by personal conflicts in groups, I have helped get many an organization on its feet at some effort to see it torn apart this way.

Such conflict is hard on the nerves and has blighted my whole time in the struggle.

You will note that no leader of a major group in our coalition has attacked me. Jared Taylor’s group, for example, has not actually attacked us.

Jared ignores me. All through my political career, those who genuinely believed they might get a good point of view into the mainstream have disclaimed me. When I was out on the streets with the populist Wallace Democrat-type movements even Stan Evans kept his distance from me.

National Review split into two camps: One side, led by their publisher, Bill Rusher, declared I was the champion of the only way to win, hence Jeffrey Hart’s review of my book which he titled, “Read This One!”

At the SAME TIME, in 1976, there was a cover article in National Review attacking me and all who sided with me. This came from the Buckley side.

Buckley and Rusher had twin offices opposite each other on the top floor of the NR Building. On Whitaker NR was split right down the middle.

Jared Taylor is working on the pro-white side. David Duke is a good friend of his.

I do not edit comments from genuine BUGS people, but I would very much appreciate it if commenters would refrain from personal insults or questioning personal motivations of people who are out there trying their own approaches.

The National Alliance used to have its big meetings in New Orleans. The year New Orleans disappeared all of us went to the American Renaissance Convention. Dr. Duke was very upset when a Jewish couple were invited by Jared and David denounced what they said as the Solid and Standard Neoconservative Line in the meeting where they spoke.

But David, who worries about damned few people’s opinions of him, was genuinely concerned that he had proved a bad guest at Taylor’s convention. We spoke at length after that meeting and David Duke made it clear to me that 1) He was absolutely appalled at Taylor for allowing this, and 2) He was a friend and admirer of Taylor’s, with whom he had worked for many years.

David is a pro. He can be terribly and deeply upset with someone without going to pieces over it. He can be furious about a person’s actions and still judge the person fairly.

BUGS is a seminar. This is where we learn to act like pros. Jared Taylor is taking an approach which could not be more different from that of BUGS and, for that matter, very divergent from that of David Duke. Mr. Taylor has his neck stuck out like the rest of us do.

There are anti-whites and there are pro-whites. Jared Taylor is pro-white. Jared Taylor is vouched for by the one professional on our side whom I know well and respect.

I am sick to death of squabbles and calling each other names.

Lord knows, we have so few people on Planet Earth with whom we can RESPECTFULLY disagree.

Let’s keep it respectful.

This reminds me of the people that have been popping up on BUGS, telling us to do something other than the Mantra. So I assume the semi-respectables at AmRen, feel just as irritated when they are told to change their focus.

At any rate, if AmRen don’t want our message there and they are moderating, we can’t do anything about it. However we can still post on thousands of newspapers, message boards and blogs, so we have plenty to keep us busy.

If we have the right approach and AmRen don’t, we will succeed and they won’t. Its that simple. Lets get back to work.

Lots of wn/ultra nationals, seem like their thinking emerged on the respectable conservative ‘right” and they are called often ‘ultra right,’ like in media and so on. Mommy Prof is hit harder than Daddy World Police, who often is not named by anyone. But now seems more leftist (in quotes) feel map out some new place, where Bana would be example. The “left” and “right” both want “taxpayer money” and compete for this “scarce resource.” A totally normalized code.

it’s like a big rock and lot of people have a chisel.

“You talkin to me?” (Travis Bickle impersonation) Well sorry if I started it on the AmRen ineffectiveness bit, but like Bismark said its best to learn from the mistakes of others and AmRen and the people who publish Jared’s completely factual accounts they offer plenty of examples.

Anyway I have been a 16 year subscriber and most likely I will continue. With me it is the opposite of most people, I do not come to hate the people on “my side”, I only rate them on how useful they are, Jared & Co are useful. I suppose if I was looking for the scarce buck I would carry on the endless idiocy feud like Hunter Wallace is carrying on with Harold, but money is a distant second to my ego, and ego is vastly overshadowed by sense of duty.

Jared & Co need to grok one thing, “anti-racism is a codeword for anti-white.” They grok that they get a %1000 percent increase in effectiveness, and I give this gratis.

This is a difficult subject which makes it especially important. There is breadth of significance in these divisions that is rarely considered. These divisions are tough to puzzle out.

Here’s an alternative take on this: What, for example, does the tendency to organize within gated compounds mean? The Mormons do this, despite the ostensible welcome mat they hang out. To me it is puzzling behavior. I walk by a Mormon Temple and see it behind formidable stone fences and locked iron gates and am left in puzzlement given temples are supposed to be covenant with God symbolism stuff. In my mind I compare it to the Sikh temples I have encountered where there are not only no fences or gates, there is not one locked door anywhere, plus there is no surveillance at all by anybody.

What are the deep structures behind edifices and what do they mean?

To me it is the deep structure, that transparent and abstract thing which edifices sit on, that are meaningful. Certain deep structures are more powerful. Certain deep structures trump others.

And that brings us to the Mantra. The Mantra does away with a whole lot. It is a boiling it all down to its essences thing. A lot can sit on such a structure.

We must not succumb to the fear of getting lost. A lot can sit on the structure of the Mantra while the structure remains clear. But the risk is that the structure becomes sullied. And that means that all could be lost.

This is exactly the same thing the Mormons wrestle with. They have made compromises that put them at grave risk. Their gated compounds are a bad sign. Compounds are not a substitute for staying clear on underlying structure – for having a pure unsullied structure.

In contrast the Sikhs inspire more confidence. I once asked a Sikh why the Sikh burgundy color was not in the Indian flag. He replied with a broad smile: “We’re the pole! We hold the whole thing up!”

That’s the Mantra: It is the pole that holds everything up for pro-whites. American Renaissance and any multiplicity of other organizations and movements are welcome to fly upon it. All we have to remember is that the Mantra is the pole, the pure unsullied structure for the whole pro-white effort, no matter what form those efforts take.

I have to admit that I did have my suspicions regarding Amren. I do however greatly respect Bob’s word and consider Duke to be an honorable man. Ergo, my suspicions have been mollified.

I was under the impression that this all went without saying. As usual, I must have missed the exchange that precipitated this formal reprimand.

The phrase of the day is ‘Moral High Ground.’

I don’t read AmRen, but I did post a Mantra comment there a few days ago, to test the waters.

    http://www.amren.com/mtnews/archives/2011/04/what_is_white_p.php

I have just checked it and found it got through, as the very last comment. I also searched for anti-white in the comments and found its usage so frequent, it appears to be taking over. 🙂

So perhaps they are not as Mantra unfriendly as we imagined, or the higher ups have spoken to the moderators?

Something I have noticed, is some people post the Mantra in comments of articles, without working it into the subject of the article. Perhaps the AmRen mods were getting irritated with the Mantra, because of that? I’m just guessing.

Below is an example of someone working Mantra points into an on-topic reply.

“We’re molested and irradiated in airports because we’re so concerned about “Homeland Security.” If that’s true, why don’t we have US troops on the border, defending against the non-White invasion?

Answer: govt is in bed with elites who WANT an invasion of non-Whites. Yes, they want to race-replace White Americans because they’d rather have obedient, low IQ, non-White wage slave peasantry. They’re easier to corral!

Elites and govt are willing to commit WHITE GENOCIDE so they can make a few more bucks by skimping on labor costs. They cover up this nonsense by calling anyone who points it out a “racist.”

Anti-racism (diversity, tolerance, multiculturalism) is just a code word for anti-White! Isn’t this obvious!”

It’s the first response by “Isn’t it obvious?” (not me)
