A Belated Thank You Note

Posted by Bob on January 27th, 2013 under Coaching Session

Backbaygrouch, our BBG, is the person who has been putting the pictures beside my articles lately.   It is a delight for me to see them, but nobody has said anything about them. photo awshucks_zpse19c7877.jpg

I want to thank BBG for this work.   How he finds an illustration to fit the article is mystery to me, but that is the kind of thing I get good people here to do.

To me, having good people come along as you work is MUCH better than having a Direct Command or Great Leader status.

I have seen too many Great Detailed Plans go down the tubes.   BUGS has been steady process of evolution, and taking the lead while letting evolution take its course is a little appreciated art.

So from my point of view, the fact that a highly talented man came here and did the pictures entirely off his own bat, without any instructions from me, is a point of pride.

The pictures are very useful and entertaining, and It`s good to know he`s helping BUGS out.

    Thanks Backbaygrouch.

I was wondering for the longest time how in the world Bob found all those great photos and then also had the time to write an article. Finally the mystery is solved.

I like how people do without asking and then take responsibility for it. I’m trying to be more like that.

Thanks for the photos Backbaygrouch. They’re very professional.

I had always assumed that it was Bob who was choosing the pictures.

The pictures are always good and serve to emphasize or highlight the writer’s point.

I’m sure others notice them as well.

Nice to see Bob has so many others such as BBG who are able to step forward and help.

Actually I noticed and liked the pictures a while ago, but I thought Bob was adding them. I didn’t know it was BBG.
I find them amusing. Keep up the great work.

    Cheers Backbaygrouch.

Can’t wait to see what picture you’re going to use for this thread?

    😉

    What Fred and Cecil said.

    Thanks BBG!

Thanks BBG. And I was thinking Bob sure was clever with the pictures he was creating!

Well done Backbabygrouch, the pictures are great and really emphasize the message being conveyed!

They say a picture conveys a thousand words and there is definitely some truth in this. BUGS has been great in conveying a consistent message in WORDS, but are we really using PICTURES consistently enough to our advantage?

White Rabbit Radio has some great iconography with the White rabbits and I like the BUGS graphic for the swarm, but should we now be looking at taking this to the next level and developing a very consistent brand or icon that automatically conveys our message without any words?

PS Yes I know BUGS is about DOING, but I was thinking we might need something more professional looking than what someone with the artistic ability of a 5 year old might come up with! 😉

Thank you Back Bay. I didn’t think this was Bob but didn’t know who. Sorry I don’t post much. I still care, a LOT.

Yes, I’ve really been enjoying the pictures, thank you!

Bob, I’ve been conscious how you let us have our head. It’s great management!

In some cases a picture is worth a thousand words.

In this case the pictures FIT the thousand words.

I don’t want to go without EITHER of them!

Thanks to both BBG and Bob!

A good many of you should giver yourselfs a “D” in reading comp and memory. Here is a man who has repeatedly said he is dependent on people for basic computer tasks and has mentioned that his computer is ancient and it barely can display text much less be used for graphics (though why a fedgov retiree has such an outdated computer is beyond me?)

All the above is basic interogator skills, speed it up folks, learn to hear the silence.

I had noticed a big change in the quality and relevance of the pictures but didn’t know why. Nice work BBG! (I keep reading the name incorrectly as BabyBackGrouch, LOL).

Anyway, what I get out of this post by Bob is another hammering home of a basic point that’s easy to forget:

Don’t wait for someone to ask. Don’t wait for instructions from Bob. If you see an area that you can improve just do it!

It doesn’t have to be perfect, but as long as it works, keep it up. Until someone comes along and does a better job or offers you some suggestions for improvement, keep doing it. That’s what we do with the mantra and mantra points. We don’t need Bob to hold our hand.

I know it’s a wild concept but it continues to produce great results, like BBG’s pictures and Johnny Mantraseed’s video.

this is what in reply anto anti-white. i know we are supposed to laugh at their retardation, but does the joke detract from the message. case in point.

you are brilliant brady. we need more scams to squeeze those evil whites out of their money! when we are flooded with muslims and nonwhites everything will be great.nonwhite neighborhoods are diverse. nonwhite nations are diverse. only white nations need more diversity. you must be a wizard. lets see you pull some more anti-white propaganda out of your hat there gandalf.

    was it too much?

Yes the photos add a LOT, I too was giving Bob the credit. I have a favorite that I’d like to submit for future consideration (I believe it’s public domain but legal may want to verify.) please have the admin contact me, Genseric knows how to reach me too, if you would like more info. Hint: this one would be for the ladies, think of the Spartans
