    I am posting now to report a total meltdown of ALL documents in my google drive since Brian posted the link to it on the front page. It will not allow me to edit ANY of my documents.

    you can log in to google documents and edit the files from the web rather than local machine.

    Try that Genseric

    And thanks for doing the Glossary, it cleared a lot of things up for me lol

    @genseric

    There are 2 ways to edit your files on Google Documents (Since you said there was a meltdown)

    1.  Logging in to http://docs.google.com and editing the file from their website.

    2. Using google drive’s desktop program to edit the file using a word processor on your computer.

    The 2nd part of my post was me thanking you for posting the glossary.

    #1 Didn’t work. I was unaware that there is a program for download? Will see if I can figure that out.

    No, i was being serious dude, some of the terminology i wasnt exactly sure about,  and your glossary cleared it up.

    You might want to add some of Horus’s terminology and the Grey Goo (i think that came from Beefcake)?

    The program is google drive – it creates a folder on your desktop and holds your files – you can upload up to 2 gb into the folder.  But that way you can open files with wordpad / word /notepad from your computer and save them on the fly

    I’m trying to understand the issue you are having Genseric

    You can’t log in to google docs?  Or you CAN log in but it wont let you edit it?

    the last bit. thanks for trying to understand. i can log in but it gives me “an error has occurred and google documents cannot save your changes. Please refresh this page.” Then a second, larger window pops up on each refresh that says

    “This error has been reported to Google and we’ll look into it as soon as possible.

    Please try one of these interim solutions:

    Reload this page.

    Download the document by right-clicking on it in the main document list and selecting “Export.”

    To discuss this or other issues, visit the Google Docs Help Forum. To see the list of known problems, check the Google Docs Known Issues page.”

    I do that and still nothing. Same for ALL my dox now. Another “strange” coincidence.

    i see we are now having additional anomalies with the blog here as well….

    Wanna know something else weird that happened with the BUGS glossary dox?

    There is a status window to the right of any google document which allows you to see people you know and the total number of people viewing the document while you are viewing it. There was one “anonymous” client right away BEFORE I changed its status to “public”. Before I ever posted the link here or anywhere.
