I developed it to be a more organised alternative to having notepad open when Swarming.

You can download it here: http://filesmelt.com/dl/BUGS_Buddy.exe (updated with working version).

Let me know if you have any problems, or if you’d like it to have more notes in it post them here and tell me. I can edit the program quite easily to include any text you’d like in it.

    Gar,

That is truly splendid. I didn’t know you knew Visual Basic. What other languages do you comprehend?

    Wow!

Edit: the file size is conspicuously small. 6kb? That is more in line with a virus. ??

I’m not a coder but I’ve dabbled a bit with Visual basic and I know a bit about HTML, that’s it though. I’m more a sort of Jack of all trades; video editing, audio editing, graphics making, 3D modelling, music production.

Go ahead a virus scan it if you want to (the online ones scan a file through many different virus scanners, I recommend virustotal.com), the internet is crawling with viruses so I understand your caution.

The reason why it’s so small is because it’s basically a box with text that changes.

    Gar,

Your application doesn’t run. Try running it from your link

I hate to say it, another tell-tale sign of a virus is an “application” that won’t run or do what it says.

    1)Small file size
    2)File won’t unpack or execute

    Ugh…

I think I might have not published it properly or with the correct options which would explain both the file size being small and it not working.

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll look into it and see what’s what.

Edit: Actually, I think I’ve found the problem.

Bah, silly mistake, I didn’t see a folder. This hopefully should work: http://filesmelt.com/dl/BUGS_Buddy.exe

Makes more sense it being in .exe extension. I just downloaded it now and it works fine: filesize 464 KB.

    Well done Gar5!

You may want to add more from here: http://www.whitakeronline.org/blog/topic/mini-mantras/ but be careful, I saw some that were off message.
