Elizabeth,

I’m scared to death of college, like i am with the DMV. I really don’t know the first place to start to even get into one. I’ve been stalling on taking my SAT’s for reasons unknown.

My problem with math is that I’m unable to put the formula for problems to use and end walking away in frustration. After a couple of failed courses, I’d rather keep what little pride I have left.

ME:

I am deeply proud to have Sam as one of us.

I believe he is the first person here besides me who has just plain said he was SCARED of something.

This is a billion miles away from the World War II cheapos who say “All us heroic types who have gone into combat were scared.” Sam is not bragging, he is SAYING something so few people have the raw courage to admit, even to themselves.

And he is saying it to US. If you can’t come to your comrades for moral support, we are not comrades.

Thank you, Sam. You have done something unique for all of us.

“My problem with math is that I’m unable to put the formula for problems to use and end walking away in frustration.”

Math professors are the same breed of doofus as all the professors Bob talks about. Math from elementary school through college is all screwed up. Believe me it’s not you. If you are wondering why others seem to be getting it, it’s either because they had an unusual and talented teacher somewhere along the line (who managed not to be fired), had a father who was an engineer who could explain it to them, or you are actually doing as well as everyone else.

My opinion on why math is so bad is that there is a mixture of incompetence and a goal to replace white technological personnel with Asians. When a Jew talks about white genocide, the first question is “But who will run the technology?” And someone else answers, “Oh we can have the gooks do that. There’s billions of them.” Yet it never occurs to them that it takes advanced creativity to keep an advanced technological society from sliding back down to a Third World India, the way the English first found it.

    Peter Pain,

Your tale in “Fear Again” that struck me pretty hard. I had some rough years from 3-8 grade I was the extreme outcast singled out by everyone. I was always in trouble. Grade 3, I had 17 referrals. From grades 7-8, I was externally suspended a total of 15 days. Mostly because I stood up to a bully, then when I heard I was getting in trouble I would curse out the administrator as a gesture of gratitude. I loathe “zero-Tolerance”. I will never forget that black administrators smile when I turned around after my mom couldn’t get the suspension overturned. They hated me.

Now lets fast forward to last year, grade 12, in a talk with my AP government teacher about education degrees, he told me that in his course they were instructed to pick out a student and make an example of him. I WAS THAT STUDENT FOR YEARS. I’ve gotten myself blind with rage before but I went completely nuts upon hearing this. It only cemented my feelings about demolishing the education system.

I hated myself for years because of that BS. They stole too much for me to ever let this go, and my conscience is too small for me to care about putting millions out of jobs.

This is usually hard for me to talk about, but I am glad you made it through. There is obviously something very special about you. I think you have figured out that the adults are afraid of the bullies. They can’t effectively expel them. When you stood up to the bully, he and his parents made a big stink and FRIGHTENED the administrators.

I hope you can see this and this is important: the fact that they punished you so severely means that they knew you are a good man. Read that again.

They knew that you and your parents would NOT go psycho and retaliate and accuse one of them of child molestation, etc. That would have shut them down right there. You also are white, which means you can’t play the race card. In public schools, the bad kids get to do whatever they want and the good kids are made examples of.

You are NOT a social outcast. Good people who think kindly about others are desirables, not outcasts. You stood out from the crowd because you had some guts: a real-life John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Clint Eastwood (characters in movies Hollywood won’t make anymore).
