You may wonder why I am not doing more judging and nudging. It’s because you are doing it.
Let me remind you that not being a Wordist in a Wordist world is a lot greater strain on the cerebral cortex than being one more of a million people who have the Absolute Truth. It would be normal for a first-timer to expect Daddy Bob to be in here more.
People have completely forgotten what thinking is ABOUT. We are becoming an Oriental society, looking to some Guru to tell us again what we have heard a thousand times. We are the main outpost of white thinking.
So when someone seems to me to be getting off the subject, I wait for ONE OF YOU to correct him. More important, I want you to balance reaching for new concepts with the basic concepts I have given you.
IT IS VERY GRATIFYING TO ME THAT SO MANY OF YOUR COMMENTS INCLUDE A REFERENCE TO A WHITAKERISM. That is infinitely more satisfying than having some mindless college grad repeating my True Faith word-for-word and honestly believing it is original with him.

Your comments and debates bring me points I would not have thought of, or, equally important, ways in which I would not have thought of a point. I also miss propaganda basics, like putting the key sentence in bold.
You have a feel for what is REALLY on target instead of the usual latest colored outrages and so forth. Nowhere else would the central importance of the Fjordmann piece or the conservative directly attacking the propositional state have been even noticed, much less given the proper emphasis in the filter-down of ideas that actually matter.
