My Twitter Account Has Been Locked

    My twitter account has been locked. I keep getting this message:

    “Your account has been locked.
    Your account appears to have exhibited automated behavior that violates the Twitter Rules. To unlock your account, please click the button below and confirm that you are the valid account owner.”

    When i click the button to unlock my account, it asks me for my phone number, which I’m not going to do. Has anyone had this happen? Is there any remedy without having to give a phone number?

    Looks like it got unlocked? In the past, when I sent out a lot of messages, all the same, I would get locked. I never had to give a phone number though. I just had to sent a request for my account to be unsuspended and wait.

    If I vary the message up and refrain from sending a ton in a short time, I no longer get suspended.

    Time For Freedom –

    Just talked to my guy who is beyond a doubt one of the greatest technophiles we have in our movement, he said you have to give them a phone number, but you can give them an extra one through google voice.
