    @ Jason:

I think that to the media and the public, any pro-white stuff arouses such a strong reaction that any humor in it just makes it seem more brazen.

And of course none of the jokes I’ve made in the petitions are really jokes. I’m serious about Secretary Jarr and the Dept. he should be head of in a sane world.

At least some anti-whites take the “jokes” as serious, or pretend to. The SPLC article on us mentioned that I wanted to make the Mantra part of core curriculum (the writer actually improved my wording, and I’ll use his version when we run that petition again), and Motherboard/Vice said this:

Finally, there’s the group’s crown jewel, White Rabbit Radio’s 10-minute short film, “Anti-Racist Hitler.” Many of the petitions on WhiteHouse.org call for the president to arrange a sort of national movie night where this film is shown,

I think the Mark Potok Award idea is effective, since it translates Potok’s words into their pro-white sense. Translating anti-white bs into pro-white truth is sort of what the Mantra does.

And Potok has been helping us more than hurting us lately.

I always end up on the side of letting the humor in!

Maybe Jimmy would care to comment.

Well here is the thing: what is humorous about genocide? If we truly believe this is genocide, if we truly believe our people are being wiped out through deliberate programs of social engineering, is it appropriate to throw in laughs while protesting it? Tone is important because it communicates how people should feel about the issue. It communicates how seriously WE take the issue. Is it the death of our people or the punch line to a joke?

Occasionally other groups will use humor for their causes, but in my opinion it almost always fails. The breast cancer people have “save the ta-ta’s” buttons, but it always struck me as juvenile.

It seems to me that if the issue in question is something like cancer, death, genocide, that making light of it runs the risk of almost being a bit ghoulish (that is, if we really believe we are talking about genocide, and not just using inflammatory language).

When I post, I will often get the “are you serious” reply, as if they can’t even take the concept of White Genocide seriously, and assume I am pulling a prank.

    I’ll keep thinking about it.

By the way, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t LIKE to see Jimmy as head of Homeland Security. 🙂

Jason, I’ve never felt certain on this issue and I’ll think more about it too.

But the ta-ta’s thing (which is new to me) is VERY different from the “humor” in the petitions. Look at every “humorous” thing that’s been in any of the petitions, and none of those things are really a joke. They are dead serious statements of what OUGHT to be, even if in today’s world they can only stand as humor.

The next few days I’ll look through the petition archive thread at WGP and check if I really find that to be true.

So far, the media reaction has been to treat our early serious petition as a joke, and to take the humor in the later ones as deadly serious.

Possibly that was to show what fanatics we are, which raises a question about how that perception works for or against us.

I for one am glad Jimmy did a great job speaking, and that he dressed well, in a suit. I’m sick of the damned costumes and cheap t-shirts pro-whites have always put on, (I like the WRR shirts though! good artwork, very different) even though I had sort of been guilty of it in my younger years. You were looking sharp, Jimmy. And it takes real guts to get out there in front like that. Keep up the great work.

I’m traveling today and I’ll be out of town for next few days. Don’t interpret my silence as a lack of enthusiasm or appreciation for all that we do, and will do.

As you can imagine, I’m overjoyed and eternally obliged to each and every one of you.
