The Cool Guys (and Dolls)

The twit who said Mommy Professor never told him about the Medicogenetical Institute so I must be unsophisticated also objected to writing NOT SPAM at the top of his comment.

He said “all the cool guys” here did it so he guessed he had to.

Actually, I asked that you write

NOT SPAM.

NOT SPAM.

TWICE, in caps, at the top, and I told you why. I have ADD to the level it is in my disability pension, and I have to wade through endless spam to get to your comments. So I asked, as a favor, that you put that in.

Many people have indicated that Mean Old Bob don’t scare THEM. So, instead of doing what I need and ask, they toss No Spam right in the body of message or don’t use caps. This is their way of telling me I can’t order THEM around.

Very adult.

A man tells you he has a very serious problem and you pucker your lips and prove you ain’t skeert of a cripple.

But the serious commenters here will even go back and apologize when they forgot to put it in.

Yes, they ARE “the cool guys.” They are the gentlemen and ladies. They are the people who have EARNED a place here and are damned proud to say so.

The Medicogenetical Institute of Moscow

Someone wrote me that he Googled the Medicogenetical Institute of Moscow and found only me as reference, so it must not be true.

The Medicogenetical Institude study on identical twins is discussed at some length in “Nature nad Man’s Fate” by Garrett Hardin. I pointed out that I had a friend, an Oxford Professor of Genetics and one of about five hundred members of THE Royal Society, the one Isaac Newton belonged to, who had the experience of having his fellow Russian geneticists just disappear, one after another, after that study in the 1930s.

National Review’s obituary on Lysenko discuss that Medicogenetical Institute study as the way he became Stalin’s head of genetics.

This comment was of the “Mommy Professor never said that so you must be a peasant” variety. It said I didn’t have an editor for my last book, peasant as I am, so no one could check out my facts for me. Actually, I discussed the Medicogenetical Institute study in my first book in my own name, “A Plague on Both Your Houses.” That book definitely had an editor. It also got favorably reviewed in Publisher’s Weekly, Kirkus, and was recommeded for puchase bythe American Library Association.

It was in the Review of Reviews and it was discussed in the New York Times Review of Books.

Which makes it really a news item that you cannot Google a major incident in scientific history except under MY name. NO ONE mentions the thousand sets of identical twins who were definitively studied by the Medicogenetical Institute of Moscow and discounted the environmentalism Communism, depended on, thereby getting the membership murdered by Stalin.

Mommy Professor never mentioned that so that makes ME a rube.

Can anybody but me see what a twit that makes the commenter? Can anyone else see the significance of this. It has been relegated to NON-history, all these peple have been relegated to NON-persons, and NOT JUST BY THE COMMUNISTS.
