Kevin and Dave read my manuscript and got me past several weeks if not months of work. I am now on a complete rewrite they let me to, a rewrite that WOULD have taken me a long time to think out for myself, after several rereads.
Rereads are NOT fun for an author. They are particularly painful in the early stages when he has finished the first writing and must read through all the mistakes. He has to look at the lack or order he is going to have to go back and correct. Kevin and Dave have spared me that.
Soon it will be YOUR turn.
Shari and others have asked me for the manuscript. You are NOT off the hook. If you tell a writer you will READ his MS, he has a memory that would make an elephant blush, thick skin, gray color and all.
I am saving YOU for the rewrite I am doing.
Kevin and Dave have lost their virginity. They have already been introduced to what I have to say, so I need fresh victims.

Sounds like Bob is busting his ass on the book, I would have read it this weekend But I won’t have the time during the week. I am up at 9 to walk the dogs with the ole lady, this takes till 11:30, then lunch, then I work on the home improvment I have started on till 1:30. Then its off to work till 10:30, by that time I am mentally exhausted and would not be of any use anyway. keep hammering away Bob, for a man who could be dong a million other things in life, this sure as hell proves how dedicated you are to the cause, I really admire that in you.

Bob, don’t lose sight that there are starting to be many participants on WOL who are posting the Mantra and are relaying their activities on here. I noticed 2 such posts today, earlier posts in the last 7 or so days, and I feel both deserve a little praise from you. I realize you are busy working on your latest book, but the troops are beginning to fight it out in the trenches and I’m afraid w/o your encouragement and thanks they may become resentful and stop posting. I know Peter and myself post on a regular basis, and we don’t need the daily congratulatory remarks, but others on here do.
