I am told that near his death, William Pierce asked if he knew anyone who could take over from him. I am told he replied, “Yes, but they are all dead.”
Only another person who spent his life fighting Pierce’s fight could understand the AGONY that that sentence represented. I am proud to say that the first time I talked with Doctor Pierce people around us said it was as if we were talking in code. If you have read Larry Niven’s scifi, it was like two Protectors talking. The stuff we had had to explain to others were concepts we had both long since thought out, and whole areas got the briefest mention as we leapt on.
My pride is that we thought alike, and it showed.
Pierce did his work on an astounding number of fronts. I was a professional writer, but I could never plot as he did in his novel.
If I have my way, unlike Pierce, I will not be greatly missed. That is because I do not plan to leave the gaping empty space Pierce did.
I, too, have fought on a bewildering number of fronts. Kelso is flatteringly amazed at the sheer number of people in the movement I have worked with down through the years. Pierson was a leader. I am a staff man. I help get things going and then move on. But I don’t move on until the thing has failed or is being run by people who can handle it.
I had a great advantage in this over Pierce because he was organizing for ideological purity. I help with groups that are going in my general direction and then leave them to people who will run them. But as the banana peel begins to slip I have dedicated the last decade or so to slowly accumulating a group that can take over from me.
Pierce was a genius, not a staff man. He could not realize that accumulating a group to take over was a full-time job, not just a by-product of his other efforts. I spent over ten years doing this. It was costly. It was frustrating. It was exhausting.
Pierce was no kind of a bureaucrat. He was a loner. He could not know that finding successors is not just a matter of deciding to retire -– which in our case meant dying — and selecting one of our followers on the deathbed. Jews can do that. Respectable conservatives can do that. We can’t. When he was on HIS deathbed, he found that no one was there selected and trained to his special task.
I want BUGS built on bedrock. When I turn on my PC in Valhalla, I expect to see you continuing on without a bump.

Great point about Pierce, Bob! Bob your work will not die with your passing, we will carry on. You provided us with a life time of experience and forethought, for me you have opened up my eyes to reality.

Being a great writer and passing the torch are two different skills and almost always wielded by separate people.
Pierce did what he did well because he was an introvert; writing is a solitary task. Pierce wrote a great deal and that meant that most of his time was spent alone. Pierce was willing to leave the world to live like a hermit in the mountains in a trailer in order that he could write prolifically. If you are a social beast, such a life would be a living hell.
Hitler was someone who from time to time was a first rate writer. But he was not a writer by profession. He was a social beast and his best gifts came out when he was working face to face. Hitler could not have been Pierce’s heir — yet Pierce believed that Hitler’s gifts were greater than his own.
When I think of great writers, I can’t think of anyone who “passed the torch.” (Coleridge passed his thoughts on to Wordsworth because he was on laudanum.) Solitary types may learn from others, but they learn it on their own. Pierce set up his own organization; his natural heir would set up HIS own organization.
So the only way to pass the torch is to continue what you do, knowing that others are certainly learning from you and will carry on the work in their own way and at their own time. You can shape their way and the timing, but you cannot determine it anymore than your predecessors could control you.
And if you want to maximize your effectiveness, direct your work to the social types. These are the ones that will bring the knowledge into the world and carry it out.
You have a great advantage over them. You are willing to spend all your time alone to take a cold hard look at things. That means you could find a missing key that the social beast must have.
What makes you, Bob, unusual and valuable is that your writing and thinking are very sociable. (Think about how you live, Bob; that’s ironic, isn’t it?) Now if you can find someone who is a social beast, but who also has the ability to sit down and think by himself like you the writer do, something interesting will happen.
And you can bet he needs you. Someone like that would be seen as too much the doer by the thinkers and too much the thinker by the doers.
But I don’t know if you could pass the torch of this blog to someone like that or not. But I think such people should make first-rate political leaders for the Cause. And they need this blog.

I read “Protector,” and was so moved by the ending that I reread it, seeing more each upon each re-reading.
The Take-Home Message:
We must take the responsibility to BE WHAT WE WANT THE WORLD TO BECOME, and we must frame ALL issues in the Light of The One Question: “Is It Good For My Family, as the microcosm of my RACE, and is it good for my RACE, as the macrocosm of my Family?”
No one can do it for us.

The Courts have ruled the Mexican trucks can take to the US highways starting this month, and they called me, and said, “Uncle! You were right! Can we come down and talk to you for a few days?”

I was quite the student of Archetypes, in schoo, and used Transactional Analysis to demonstrate the interaction among the Archetypes to my teachers.
TA pretty much missed the importance of the Mindset of the Elders in framing a social order, and why they make the choices they do.
Remember, from “Protector,” WHY and HOW Brennan, after having been exposed to tree-of-life (and only when it fell upon the proper growth medium) identified totally and absolutely with his RACE knew, instinctively, that he had to IMMEIDATELY kill Phsssthpok, who would have killed the human RACE, for the sake of his RACE.
I have argued the development of acceptance of, and support for, White Nationalism/Western Nationalism, is remarkably like a religious conversion.
I quote from “Protector”:
“Every human protector must wake this way….A human protector has human memories. He wakes clear-headed, and remembers, and thinks with a certain amount of embarrassment: I’ve been stupid.”

Many whites who become racially aware sooner or later come to the realization that the pro-white movement seems fragmented and diffuse.
What follows then is the feeling that “all is lost” because our enemies seem to be more united in purpose than we do.
Genius bubbles up all through our ranks, from the most obscure places.
Because we are a literate people, the minds of leaders such as William Pierce, George Lincoln Rockwell, and other trailblazers are always with us.
And, because we tend toward individualism, instead of worshiping these people as GODS we try to understand them and learn from their mistakes.
The rest of the world Deifies it’s leaders.
And goes nowhere.
Each leader from the previous generation creates scores of students,(not followers)who move forward and amongst them will be some who will extend the genius of their teachers.
That is the way of our people.
Consider our Jewish competitors.
They rule finance.
All propaganda.
But still they FEAR.
They show it continually.
We are as the Hydra.
That is why our enemies maintain constant propaganda against us.
So to you, Bob Whitaker, there will be no altar nor society. No monuments. And for those of us who carry forward your ideals, I reckon about the same.
But somewhere, all of our words will be remembered, and our deeds.
I hope and pray that our progeny will read the record of our actions and thoughts, but never become slaves to either.
May they instead use their own genius to further our race.

He was trying to make an educated, Forties – Fifties America Mindset function in the inverted value system of the Sixties.
The Internet is allowing us to disintermediate time and space, forming virtual communities which will become the foundation of real Communities, in time.
Thus, Pierce’s broadcasts across the shortwave reached only a few, who self-selected in, and, sadly, far too many who used what they saw White Nationalism in only the most shallow matters of Form, and virtually none of the matters of Substance.
The countervailing force of the Propasphere – the all-encompassing Wall of Propaganda surrounding us from birth – actively works to block any time spent in contemplation of the RACIAL Question, while placing the cuckoo’s egg of our RACIAL Enemies blocking the small, still Space where we can hear the first Whisperings of the Quickening, and the louder Call of the Awakening.
I have come to believe the nearest equivalent to explaining the true acceptance of White Nationalism is a religious conversion. Authentic religious conversions require patience, and a lot of instruction, on fallow soil.
The Internet has provided this instruction, at the time, pace, and convenience of the Listener.
I can see unmmentioned demographic facts on the ground supporting us in this. It seems there is a wholesale Exodus of WHITE People from Southern California, moving North, and East, as quickly as possible, seeking White Communities.
I am approaching the issue of presenting our Perspective AS IF I WAS A MISSIONARY ENGAGED IN THE SLOW, PATIENT PROCESS OF CONVERTING THEM TO MY RELIGION.

I never met Pierce, but have read and or listened to just about all his work. He was unique in that he could attract people of like mind, but yet he appeared to be a loner. I my opinion the reasons he couldn’t find a replacement was 1)you try to become that which inspired you, 2)I believed he felt that good leaders are born, not appointed. Bob, your work inpires and teaches those who eventually will lead. An organization is something one may want to preserve, but our race is something we MUST….
