That is GREAT observation about oil going the way of Western Union!
What makes real energy alternatives such a perfect target for the Fondas and professional bureaucrats is that all forms of practical energy production are very dangerous. Ask any coal miner or oil rig worker.
The problem is, of course, that it never occurs to Jane Fonda or any Yuppie activist that coal miners or oil rig workers are HUMAN. So, to the Yuppies, present energy production is “safe.”
To Yuppies, every form of energy production that is practical involves “Danger,” meaning a danger to HUMANS, not coal miners. Global Warming in the most extreme case they can imagine and get paid to shout about might cause NEW YORK, where HUMANS live, to move.
Or even HOLLYWOOD, on the West Coast!

Better than the liberals I heard on TV argue that Australia should accept the millions, yes MILLIONS of asians that would be displaced by global warming. Not only that, but the very same people said that Perth would be uninhabitable. No mention who where Australian refugees would go to.
They get applause for caring about humanity, and there is nothing that represents ‘humanity’ more than the diversity.
