Attempted to find why/where Sunlit was not posting, but couldn’t find anything anywhere – not listed in any security of other places. Captcha? As the php gets more complicated the add-ons and plugins and theme will fail. Send in theme suggestions and we’ll be able to update.

Sys Op, I’m afraid I don’t know what a “theme” is in computer-world.

I just posted a new swarm topic, Our Change.org petition, but it’s not appearing under “Recent Swarms.” I’ve noticed (over the years, I think) that some new swarm topics do appear there, and others don’t. If the “Change…” one can be easily made to appear there, and later when it’s posted to further, that would be great.

Later: I see now. Only the COMMENTS to new swarm topics appear as links in the “Recent Swarms” list. (I figured that out in less than 10 years.)

Captcha is different. The most puzzling to me is why some messages do get through while many other don’t.

I don’t know how it happened, but my three posts in this thread that suddenly appeared at the same minute in April are the ones I failed to post in March. I kept trying back then, but now it makes me feel like a spammer again and I don’t even want to reread them.

They must contain the same links. Feel free to delete them.

They have not updated the big wordpress plugin “bb-press” which runs this forum for a VERY long time. I don’t know what’s happening with it, but wordpress keeps updating with MAJOR stuff every other week or so – that makes me think they may not be supporting it eventually. Stuff will just not work due to Server upgrades we have no control over, WordPress upgrades which may eventually be too far above this theme to handle or the plugins begin to stop working that are not updated to work with new wordpress updates.
Any day it could happen if something is updated and the whole thing stops showing until the culprit is replaced or deleted altogether.

I’ve been thinking about a possibility of it and I made attempts to save this website, but I am not really good at it and the only way that seems to really work for me is going article by article.

Remember – I am not getting any notices from here. You have to email to get a response until I log in again.

I don’t see any “risk” of permanently losing the writings AS LONG AS THE CURRENT SITE OWNERS AND OPERATORS have made complete backups, and Pay the hosting bill. This was one of the first sites to not be searched by G o – o g l e a decade ago, and isn’t probably on anyone’s radar. The owners have their own webmasters and can complete those things.

Once the hosting bill is not paid (+14 days grace) it will all be deleted. When the site is not visible, emails to admins must be sent, and not to the ones that end in this domain name as they won’t work.
