And “I Remember Mama.” Remember that one? What was it, 1947, ‘48, ‘49? On television. A Norwegian family. Just as white as you could hope for. Being part Viking, of course, I had to enjoy it. There was no Political Correctness religion then. Nobody looking over you shoulder demanding “inclusivity.” It was a better world. Much, much better.
As far as the next shoe is concerned fear not. It will fall. I can see the sole of said shoe right now.

MY OBSERVATION
Joe has traded his Irish soul for his Viking one.
Hope HURTS. And the Irish have been crapped on from William the Conquerer through Cromwell and then by the Boston Brahmins. So they have learnedf to deal with the pain and the despair by being philosophical and composing soulful ballads.
But “Erin” still means Aryan. We can cope with defeat, but in the end, nothing makes us micks feel better than the prospect of tearing their stinking guts out.
