A Useful Point to Use After Posting Bob’s Mantra

Posted by Bob on August 29th, 2006 under Coaching Session

I would rather you concentrated on finding places to put Bob’s Mantra and, in the process, find out things we need to kow, the way Al Parker and Pain are doing.

But a lot of times you will get the usual abuse back. You may want to drop in a line about THAT.

How about this:

HERESY!

Each society has its own word for HERESY!

Communists called all HERESY! fascism. Fascist Italy called all HERESY Communist.

Today, under the Politically Correct tyranny, HERESY! is called HATE! or “racism.” Nobody wants to try to deal with a point like Bob’s Mantra, so they start demanding that nobody say it, just like any other tyranny does. They call people who speak HERESY! names.

You Political Correctness fanatics are playing a very old game.

When you call people names who disagree with you or scream Hate or racism, a.k.a., HERESY! it says nothing about the point we heretics make.

But it tells us ALL about YOU.

And quit right there.

Try it.

I have found that when they are confronted with an argument like this or Bob’s Mantra, they see desperately for something ELSE you said that they can argue about to avoid the simple point you made.

DON’T give them that opportunity. Say it and make them ANSWER it or insult you or throw labels.

Then just put this same point back again.

The other side only has two defenses,

1) To ignore Bob’s Mantra: and

2) To scream HERESY! at us.

Cut them off at the pass.

Bob, I don’t know if you remember Alan Burke or Joe Pyle. They were guys who were on television in the 1960s sometime and their programs were all about argumentation. Those are two of the places where I learned how to argue. The other source was a small book that I still have today. What you say is true and it is really quite easy to whip these namecallers in argumentation usually because they don’t really have an argument. So they call you names, as you say. Or they pretend they don’t understand you. You know damned well they understand you but they’re trying to jerk you around. They don’t want to get at any facts or any truth.

When you know how to deal with them they are child’s play. But to argue with someone for hours at a time, that’s something I don’t do. I give them the tip of my boot. I understand that they don’t want to grasp the truth. I don’t waste my time talking to such people.

Apparently the free newsgroup server I used is not propagating my post right away. My posts showed up in the server I posted them with, but when I checked with a server that allows reading but not posting, it was not there. If anyone knows a good newsgroup server for free let Bob here know.

Of course you are recruiting salespeople.
The rules you speak of are basic in interrogation.
    Or sales.
A good salesman is also an accomplished interrogator.
All good tent preachers spend the winter selling vacuums.
    They are looking for buyers.
In the summer, they sell salvation.
    Again, looking for buyers.
    The audience comes to them.
    Because they WANT to buy.

If you wish to gain converts amongst beleivers,
    you must prosyletise.
    Big difference.
When you randomly post to newsgroups,
many times you are dealing with Believers.
    Not Buyers.
Newsgroups are like bible study groups.
Go to a Babtist Bible study group and tell them the mantra.
Or maybe just tell them that salvation comes from
    following Catholic Scarements.
The result will be the same.
    When you prosyletise,
    you have to attack FAITH.
    Few arguments work.
Just ask a Mormon or a Jehovahs Witness.

    Look for BUYERS.
    Not BELIEVERS.

    The Buyers become new believers.
    Enough believers creates a movement.

    The rest should be obvious.

    Lets look for leads.

    Any suggestions?

The cops need to hear Bob’s Mantra as well, so they understand that politically incorrect speech is protected speech and not criminal activity.
