Provoking one dog into attacking another awaits an opportunity. And the commitments of the lynch mob are decided once it becomes obvious which dog will be the victor. Lynch mobs, accordingly, are baked in the cake.
Opportunities are over-determined (dependent upon many causes acting simultaneously).
That was the kind of political arithmetic of how it came down in Italy, but Sedona was astute enough to realize it illustrated political arithmetic generally.
That’s why the same damn Federal police who started this civil rights crap have to be the one’s to end it. That’s the real logic of political life.

The status quo defines the people, the people do not define the status quo.
Most lefties back the apparent ‘underdogs’, the minorities, the disabled and their coloured companions. But they only do so when it is fashionable to do so.

The Democrats represent the party of squalor and stagnation. Ask the right questions and those Silicon Valley smart asses would haul ass away from the “Mule Train” to at least a 60-40 split in contributions to the stupid party.
