Simmons Says We Have Opposition

I mostly agree with what Dave and AFKAN have to say. For over ten years now it has been interesting and a lot of fun disagreeing with people who previously wore the unblemished robes of authority.

Still there are limits, anyone of the right leaning websites out there practice “respectable” censorship, and what left sites there are expend serious energy protecting their flock. Then there are those freewheeling sites that fall into the ideology of “anti-Semitism” the catchall limiting trip into the punji stick trap of ideology.

The “respectable” form still exists so I wouldn’t blow your own horns all that much just yet.

— Simmons

“The ‘respectable’ form still exists so I wouldn’t blow your own horns all that much just yet.”

I don’t think anybody here is unaware of that. In fact the very thing you choose to get depressed about, and I see no other point in this comment, is the one that encourages me most.

The establishment has pinpointed who the real rebels are.

Arab terrorists, the Unabomber, religious “fanatics” and “gun nuts” all have attackers one side and defenders on the other. There is only ONE group that ALL the forces of “both sides” attack without restraint:

US.

They say that we are such a tiny group as to be irrelevant. They then warn that listening to us could let us take over.

The whole history of revolution says that those who have been singled out as we have been anointed as the only true alternative.

We shouldn’t count our chickens before they hatch, but we should keep in mind that their “both sides” has laid an egg.

Pain (General Comments) Praises The Old Bull

You are dealing with an old bull who should have been put out to pasture LONG ago. The ONLY reason I ask you to stick with me is that there are STILL things only I can do.

Crippling ADD, a lifetime of drug and alcohol abuse, aging, and a lifetime of fighting with which you are all too familiar leave me making every conceivable kind of mistake, including sloth.

Which is why I am so desperate to teach BUGS folk, not my Words of Wisdom, but HOW to do what I do.

Pain put something in General Comments that was TERRIFIC!

“Bob-
“Thanks for being the smartest man anywhere, the best down-boiler ever, and for forming the finest little circle of thinkers to be found.”

1) We all know Pain has never hesitated to give me hell. So I can assume he means this.
2) RELATIVE to
“Which is why I am so desperate to teach BUGS folk, not my Words of Wisdom, but HOW to do what I do.”

Pain shows me I am succeeding. More important, in ONE SENTENCE, he has specifically covered all my main goals and told me I am succeeding in them. Pain is learning to do what I am trying to teach you to DO.

In all the hundreds of thousands of words here, what jumps out at Pain is what totally escapes the folks at Stormfront, much less Mommy Professors’ tape recorders.

Pain is one of the group he describes as the finest circle of thinkers to be found. I do not hesitate to quote his praise of ME without the usual modesty crap.

Let’s follow the British courts’ doctrine against “hate” speech, “The truth is no defense.”

Where truth is concerned, false modesty is no excuse.

Dave Gets Where I Was Trying to Go

1. For the first time in history, the general public has access to real information.
It’s additive!!! And is it ever moving fast. Ordinary (intelligent) people everywhere are becoming MORE INFORMED than the insiders. And the standard of what is means to be informed is relentlessly pushing skyward. I have seen these standards move incredibility in just the last 3 years.
The pretenders and frauds have to be very careful in this environment.
Wordism cannot stand against the Internet.
I am to the point where I think the Courts are going to fall to the Internet. And Congress cannot continue in its present form. These institutions are becoming too ridiculous.
In the 1970s the WW II generation stumbled into its dotage and the software industry furnished a coordination platform that revolutionized production and distribution.
Congress, the Courts, and the whole regulatory apparatus moved not one iota. They remain stuck in their 19th century manifestation.
The Baby Boom generation is stumbling into its dotage (it’s mentality is in the Teddy Roosevelt era), clueless that the Internet has abolished ideology in a positive feedback loop that is relentlessly pushing the intelligent segment of public skyward.
The Courts and Congress are beyond reform. Law and accounting practices, academic consulting, and the whole regulatory apparatus (with its ridiculous and relentless posturing) are increasingly becoming jokes. These whole damn arenas are just too atavistic.
Too many highly intelligent people have access to an audience unencumbered by the mommy professors, academic journals, and university press gatekeepers.
You have got to see the positive feedback loop in intellectual standards to understand the Internet. It is a mechanism for forcing intellectual standards skyward.
Political Correctness (and ideology in general) cannot stand against this. I am sure it is impossible.
