I was just talking to my older son, who I don’t get to talk to very often. The subject of Mel Gibson and TV came up. He said “they are just trying to get him for making that movie” and “a lot of people aren’t buying it anymore.” Yes, things are changing.

You really hit on something here.

The Voices of Doom on our side are always quoting the media. The LAST thing the media are going to report are attitudes like your son’s. Another point I will keep repeating after it makes you gag is that if young people today KNEW what today’s Political Coorectness is based on, if they ever SAW the unmitigated crap people BELIEVED forty years ago, they would laugh themselves silly.

The only thing that prevents young people from hearing this is that all we talk about is the latest news. They could be converted by this perspective, but we never USE perspective. The latest scoop from Iraq is the worst problem we have.
