Wait a minute, perhaps when the words ‘NOT SPAM’ appear in the comments, it means Bob labelled the comment as ‘NOT SPAM’?

Otherwise, why are the words ‘NOT SPAM’ appearing everywhere in the comments’ sections of this Blog?

ME:

I have to sift through endless spam every time I read the comments, so I miuss the ones that don’t have

NOT SPAM.

NOT SPAM

at the top.

A lot of commenters think I am being pedantic, but if you have a hundred spams to go through and you have ADD, it is hard not to miss the ones that don’t have

NOT SPAM

NOT SPAM

at the top.

Often commenters will show me they don’t “take orders” by saying

Not spam once or not putting it in caps. That way they show, I supposed, that they ain’t skeert of me or something. What I NEED is something in caps that I can SEE as I go through all this crap.

This leads me to make a point about spam.

I keep saying we need to drop Bob’s Mantra in wherever and whenever we can. I would not be getting all this spam if spam didn’t work.

But spam is inthe eyes of the beholder. To a Politically Correct person, the Mantra is ALWAYS spam everywhere, so when you decide to hold back because it might not be polite, they will agree with you. We don’t want it to be spam, but we DO want to force it on people who don’t want it seen.

    NOT SPAM from UC

    Thank you Bob.

Just one clarifying point (for Bob or anyone): is the line I have above i.e. ‘NOT SPAM from UC’ what I should be posting in each post? Is that preferred or unnecessary?

    Thank you

    NOT SPAM

I get it now! Ignore the above question.

    Thank you,
