The Only Votes That COUNT

Back in the days of print media, I wrote an article pointing out that the only votes that are not thrown away are the ones they tell us are “thrown away.”

We are told that if you do not vote for a major candidate, your vote is “thrown away” because your candidate will not win.

Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, your actual chances of deciding which major candidate wins ANY election are less than your chances of getting killed in an accident on the way to the polls.

The only votes that send a message are the ones which are dedicated entirely to sending a message. The Wallace vote of 1968 was infinitely more important than any ballot for Humphrey or Nixon.

In fact, the Wallace vote of 1968 was the major reason why there is no longer a Soviet Empire.

Great news! Looks like people are starting to get serious about what Samuel Francis warned us not so long ago.

I’ve also come to the conclusion that the “Craig Roberts” referred to in Bob Whitaker’s previous piece of perhaps two weeks ago is none other than my very favorite Paul Craig Roberts. Paul Craig Roberts is The Man. He is the “Craig Roberts” to whom Bob Whitaker was referring when he also mentioned the name of Patrick Buchanan. Paul Craig Roberts is The Man. He may not be at the forefront of fighting for his race but he is doing a great job of fighting for his country. I put him at the top of the line of all people I have discovered during the past 15 years. I don’t know where Bob places him. He won’t say. I’m not even sure what he was saying when he mentioned “Craig Roberts” along with Patrick Buchanan as being people he has known for decades. Nevertheless, I can find no fault whatsoever with Paul Craig Roberts. As Bob knows I love to find fault with people. Paul Craig Roberts gives me no opportunity. If he stands up against the neoconservatives and he stands up for America, that’s good enough for me. The lightwork can be handled later.

ME:

I didn’t answer you because you were just being a stubborn old man. I knew you read Craig Roberts and two minutes on Google would tell you there is no one else with that name I COULD be referring to.

Well, once again, I have known Craig a long, long time. We were in graduate econ together at the University of Vorginia and he was from south Georgia, so we got along very well.

I saw him last when I was working at the Voice of America.

Sam Francis, Craig Roberts, Buchanan, Putnam, Carleton Coon, Willis Carto, Joe Sobran, George Wallace, the list goes on and on of people I knew well and who are relevant today. The list of people who were big dogs in their day and very fashionable and whom I did NOT know is titanic.

I must have done SOMETHING right.

Nat Gas figures are probably wrong unless we have one of the largest conspiracies ever in hiding them. US production is flat to declining and we rely on authoritarian Canada and some LNG from the Caribean to make up the rest. Oil production is half of what it once was and that too is delining, the Alaskan brouhaha was BPs calculation that production from that field would crater before the pipeline, fields do exhaust. Coal has possibilities, but conservation from using CFL light bulbs would probably be more effective than handing everyone a pick. Peak Oil is a geological fact, the days of easy motoring are waning and once the central banks of the world unite to restart the god of economic growth gasoline will go from its soon to be 2.00$ level to god knows what as every Tom, Dick and Lee Kwon Qu goes about in his SUV. I’ll be your energy czar Bob, but only behind the scenes since I’m not a glad handler and I like women and beer way too much to act like a Neo-Puritan.

ME:

In 1976 and 1980, the biggest issue in the campaign was the Oil Crisis.

By 1982, everybody had forgotten the Oil Crisis, and it didn’t even come up in the election.

Reagan simply deregulated prices.

New England has gotten cheap oil fromthe South since the turn of the century, due to Federal regulation of oil prices. The same thing is true of natural gas prices.

Do you remember the 2YK disaster, when all civilization would cme to an end on January 1, 2000?

Nobody else does either.

During World War II, the sources of natural rubber in southeast Asia were cut off. There was a rubber crisis, and new tires became impossible to find, even for the military.

Within two years, we had plenty of artificial rubber.

Do you realize how much horse manure in the streets was predicted for New York in 1900 for the year 1950?

We will not switch from oil — even TIRES are made of oil! — until we really need to. Then we will do it.

I have lived through a hundred civilization-destroying crises that never happened. Don’t build your worldview on one.

White countries solve their own problems.

Stick to BASICS.

It is generally agredd that driving 120 mph on a crowded highway is dangerous, but many, many people have done it and come out without a scratch.

The odds are against you, and it is an evil thing to do to take that chance with other people’s lives.
