The Only Votes That COUNT

Posted by Bob on September 14th, 2006 under Coaching Session

Back in the days of print media, I wrote an article pointing out that the only votes that are not thrown away are the ones they tell us are “thrown away.”

We are told that if you do not vote for a major candidate, your vote is “thrown away” because your candidate will not win.

Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, your actual chances of deciding which major candidate wins ANY election are less than your chances of getting killed in an accident on the way to the polls.

The only votes that send a message are the ones which are dedicated entirely to sending a message. The Wallace vote of 1968 was infinitely more important than any ballot for Humphrey or Nixon.

In fact, the Wallace vote of 1968 was the major reason why there is no longer a Soviet Empire.

I’ve come to belive “YOURE WASTING YOUR VOTE!” has become a scare tactic simmiler to HATE!. Since the die hard supporters on both parties have fewer and fewer reasons why we should vote for them, dissent against the party must be branded.

Bob says: “the Wallace vote of 1968 was the major reason why there is no longer a Soviet Empire.”

You know there are those with public educations around here, please explain this. This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone credit the Wallace vote for taking down the soviet empire. Is it because the Wallace vote allowed Reagan to get into office?

Oh great purveyor of knowledge, enlighten me.

    Before Lincoln’s war,
    Democrats, Whigs, Progressives, and
    Republicans really disagreed.
Fist fights in Congress were common.
    Duels.
    Those Congressmen had convictions.

They were willing to bleed for their beliefs.

Now, politics sounds like some sort of game.
    Like a soccer match

Both sides agree to certain ground rules.

    For their mutual benefit.

Then, they take sides, or “positions”.

    Respectfully, of course.

In parting, thank God for George Wallace,
who was far more valuble than the few hundred
million of our racial kinsmen in “overthrowing”
    the “Soviet Empire”.

    According to Established Opinion.

    Of course.

I was greatly disappointed that Wallace stumbled into being shot. A genuinely skilled player should be able to avoid being shot.

Effective political players should be highly tuned in with the law of jungle and they should be good students of the “Stockholm Syndrome”, far more important in determining political behavior than anyone dare admit.

They should key their approach to influences at the flesh and blood (and unconscious) levels rather than focusing on ideology.

They should have high standards for organizational membership, rather than being open to anyone professing the “right sentiments”.

The basic relation of whites to one another is changing profoundly. They are far different today than in George Wallace’s day because the tyranny we face today is far more onerous.

Today is the time for a political movement to be based on race and racially supremacy alone. No other trimmings are necessary. In fact, they should be forbidden.

Wallace, in his heyday, represented this.
