BoardAd is just going ahead and upgrading the system. He probably consulted with others, but he didn’t consult with me, which is exactly the way I like it. That was a LOT of work and he ruined his computer doing it.
But, contrary to the Masturbation Generation, I am not as impressed by his sacrifices as I am by his INITIATIVE.
A manager who does not hire people who are better at things than he is is a FAILURE. But if they are better, how does he JUDGE them? That seems tome to be what good management is about. The top guy succeeds if he RECOGNIZES good work and people who have initiative.
What they do WORKS,
Our whole world view interrelated. BoardAd’s work relates directly back to Wordism. A good Wordist wants Control. I just want it DONE. This is true of technical work like BoardAd’s and it is true of seminar participation.
A person who has it all in His Book has aborted his whole thought process. In Wordism, nothing is allowed to WORK. Everything is justification. That is why Communism was doomed. The market tends to weed out failure. Planning cements it into the system.
Once again, pleas NOTICE the IMPORTANCE of what I told Pain: “I don’t KNOW” what you should come up with, any more than I know what BoardAd should do to the system.
What I DO know what I am LOOKING FOR.
This makes things a lot harder on YOU than any form of Wordism would be. Our whole world view is very confusing in our Wordist society. I am looking for SOMETHING good and I don’t KNOW what it is YET. It would be one hell of a lot easier for you to search Bob’s Holy Writ and repeat what I want I want you to repeat, especially since that has been your entire training in this society.
But in the end, what would you have? Someone who comes up under ANY form of Wordism suffers the same disadvantage in dealing with US that Communism had dealing with market economies. That system produced people who were simply not capable of competing in a REAL economy.

oh the computer failure and the blog update were completely non-related outside the fact I couldn’t log in. It crashed 5 minutes before i was going to start upgrading. It really isn’t hard work to upgrade, but it can cause a gray hair or two if things go wrong.

This is an extremely important observation, and if we would pay heed to this and base our actions on it, what could be accomplished in the real world is enormous.
Now, I have to launch my telecommuting mode, so I will have to leave this here, but I would like to get back to the details at some point.
