Obama’s White Boys
The media are reporting breathlessly that Obama is getting “white votes in the South.” He is getting DEMOCRATIC white votes in the South. Those who think of themselves as white Southerners simply do not vote in Democratic primaries in the South.
One rule of politics is that the Party faithfuls are more extreme than the elected officials. Those who are still Democrats to the extent of voting in that primary are solidly liberal. It is easy to say that people with white skins in the South are voting for Obama. These are Hillary Clinton New South liberals. Obama is the new hero, so they are voting for him.
This has nothing to do with white Southerners in general. That’s amateur thinking. The idea that this means that Hillary and Obama have won the hearts and minds of the South is childish, but the media will keep saying it. They want it, so it’s true.
If you think hard-core Democrats at the primary level represent white Southerners in any way, you have been out of the loop for decades.

Note that primary results are amongst the “faithful”.
But the real election is amongst everybody.
The US is 12% black. That is the Obama vote.
Plus a few dummies.
Remember, Democrats vote IDENTITY.
Black, Hispanic, Feminist, GLBT.
Republicans vote IDEOLOGY.
Fundamentalist, right to lifer, likudnik, protestant.
Any Democratic candidate that runs on Democratic “identity” will split the Democratic base.
Any Republican candidate that runs on Republican “ideology” will split the Republican base.
The ideal Democratic candidate is a white male.
The ideal Republican candidate is a nihilist.
The current race is fun because each party is splitting up based on it’s own criteria.
This all assumes a perfect world. Actually, all the different players will take their various delegates into their prospective conventions and decide who us rubes will decide between.
Obviously, on the Democratic side, we will have a white female.
On the Republican side, another white nihilist.

I was thinking the same thing. Obama ONLY received 40% of the Jimmy Carter’s in the South. ONLY 40% of the ONLY White Votes he can actually count on receiving….PERIOD. Maybe it is just me but it seems like Republicans could get a Regan style landslide against him if he ran in the general election. Of course, my speculation is amateurish and none of this means didly for our race because none of these fools will do didly for our race. NeoCon—NeoCon lite. But it does seem like Romney and the Neocons do NOT eat lunch together. I cannot tell a bit of difference Johny Mcain and Hillary. Hell, she is probably LESS dangerous for our race……and that is a tragic statement. Welcome to the last hurray of the worthless baby boomer self hating white generation. Maybe they will all get run over by Mexicans. Literally RUN OVER!

No it’s not true that the white South has gone to the devil, but saying so increases the culture of fear.
Had a fun talk today. I was helping a middle aged, real Southern lady how to transfer her typing skills to computers. She noted that the next assignment was to be mandatory Diversity training. She said “I am not diverse, you aren’t either, are you?” I said “No,” and that that was a foreign religion. Then I explained quickly and quietly why belief in it was idolatry. She hung on every word, the sweet thing.
(It helped that last week, I had propped her computer book with my boxed John MacArthur Study Bible. The book kept on flopping over without it.)

Obama’s miracle run is probably more proof of the white supramecist mind set of the white liberal. But they at the media level are quite confused with his lack of latino support, my guess is that his handlers understand he can garner liberal white supremecist support by making the appearances of pandering to latinos even though he will not actually gather beaner votes. So I’ll vote for mderpelding’s view, because if it were different the whole world view of all those squishy “nice” whites would crumble.

The thing I don’t understand is McCain’s success. Most people don’t like the war and don’t want amnesty. Then why are they nominating McCain?
