    @OldBlighty

    I suppose “us” meant anyone interested in seeing the work/results these Pro-White’s are doing using their own material.  I’m honestly interested in anyone who can demonstrate effective results but I’m under no illusions that the AMPW’s participating on that thread are sincerely interested in doing that.  But there might be someone in the audience who has some ideas worth trying out and giving them a little help can’t hurt.  The nice thing about the offer is it doesn’t use up BUGS space and resources.  No one in BUGSphere will have to know of  or acknowledge it’s existence unless they want to visit the site.

    Plus, I need beta testers so I can hammer out any issues with the site and it’s code.

    In the spirit of cooperation and seeing a better world for White children, I thought would help the anti-Mantra crowd out and give them some tools they can play with and use.   I posted the following on that Stormfront thread.

    #####

    I think I can sum up the average BUGSERS response to Mantra criticism…

    PUT UP or SHUT UP.

    Don’t tell us what you THINK, show us what you KNOW.

    If you KNOW there is a better way then the Mantra, show us.
    If you THINK there is a better way then the Mantra, prove it.

    It’s NAIVE for anyone to expect their opinions about the Mantra to be taken seriously by any BUGSERS when they’ve got nothing to back it up.

    So I offer those interested this…

    Last summer I registered the domain swarmsofbugs.com and since it’s creation it really hasn’t been used by anyone but myself. Two months later I rolled out the first iteration of code for the site at beta.swarmsofbugs.com. Since then I’ve been quietly adding features and improving the site but have yet to push those changes out for the world to see. Next weekend I finally plan to make those improvements public.

    Those interesting in testing out their non-Mantra ideas and sharing them with the rest of us can use => blackbox.swarmsofbugs.com (Don’t bother visiting the site yet, the site has yet to be setup). When the site is ready to go live, I’ll post back here or you can follow me on twitter @swarmsofbugs. If you have questions email admin (@) swarmsofbugs.com.

    Don’t worry if you don’t start off batting 1.000, just show us you’re willing to put YOUR time & energy into YOUR thoughts & opinions. That will go a lot farther with any BUGSERS then countless threads and comments criticizing the Mantra.

    HD, has there been any promotion of these petitions prior to them getting started?  I wasn’t aware of the first one until it had been up for four or five days.  And the SA one I just learned about in the last hour.  I know if I knew these petitions were going up and when, I would definitely be good for a few signatures in the first few hours.

    @Jason

    Is that question directed toward me?  Is so and you’re referring to the YAP section of beta.swarmsofbugs.com, it’s currently set up just like any other site you post comments to.  The comments are saved in a database and can be kept around for as little or as long as the admin(s) are willing to keep them around.  The posts/comments don’t have to be kept around, they can be purged after a period of time.   Actually, scheduling purges makes maintaining the site much easier since one isn’t burden with huge datasets.

    swarmsofbugs.com is not intended to be a replacement of whitakeronline.org, just supplement it.  Having a tool dedicated to the day-to-day posting and sharing of links was my primary purpose when building the site.  As a person with an IT (Information Technology) background, I have the skills to build and maintain websites.  IN MY MIND, it was only natural that I do something with my skills to help improve the environment that BUGSers operate in.

    For those worried about who and what I am, come September anyone attending the Stormfront Practical Politics Seminar will get a chance to meet me and see for themselves if am for real or not.  In the meantime, I can be contacted at seapea_at_seapea.net or hit the “contact” link on beta.swarmsofbugs.com.

    As a side note,  swarmsofbugs.com doesn’t use PHP or MySQL.

    For those interested, swarmsofbugs.com is entirely my creation and up until a week ago I don’t believe anybody beside myself was aware of it’s existence.  It’s personal project I started in June and hoped would greatly increase the productivity of the Swarm.  For those interesting in getting to know me better, please use the contact link on the bottom of the site (beta.swarmsofbugs.com) or email: admin_at_swarmsofbugs.com -or- seapea_at_seapea.net.

    @elcyCesreveR

    I appreciate your scepticism but if any person’s PC/mobile/etc was to get compromised due to a visit to beta.swarmsofbugs.com,  it would be due to my incompetency to keep the site secure and not to any malicious intent on my part.  This project is sincerely the best way I believe I could contribute to BUGS.

    @guanchito

    Those links were auto-generated by a script I wrote to populate the database the frontend pulls from. The links are designed to look like real links but they aren’t.   And yes, all the data on the site is stored in a SQL database.

    What your seeing is a baseline feature set.  I haven’t done anything specific yet beyond the basic functionality because I wanted to focus on the foundation of the site first and then solicit input from BUGSers so I could tailor the site to the needs of the Swarm.

    @BUGSers

    So feedback please, any  suggestions, desired features, etc will be taken seriously.  You can use the “Contact” link on the bottom of site if you want to directly communicate with me.

    @H.Avenger

    I might be able to help.  After just a brief period of time working with the Swarm it rapidly became apparent that BUGS/Swarm NEEDED better tools.  So I decided to focus on improving the one area that wasn’t getting a lot attention at the time, the Swarm.   I’ve built what I hope will be the next step in the Swarm’s evolution, a site focused on the day-to-day posting and sharing of URLs.   The following URL is the first (and I hope not last) iteration of this work.

    http://beta.swarmsofbugs.com

    Anyone interested to taking the site for a spin and help me beta test it, please sign-up and give it a workout. Hopefully in a short time, I’ll be able to roll this out for full-time Swarm’n.

    Also, please note the site is currently filled with dummy data auto-generated to help me during development, nearly all of the links are deadlinks.
