Of course SDI was a fake. It was a strategic fake at the time, because it called the USSR’s bluff. For the entire forty years of the Cold War, people were convinced that the USSR and the US were neck-and-neck in science. Meanwhile, the Soviets had almost nothing they didn’t get via spies. The most astounding accomplishment of the USSR was that in seventy years, it did not come up with ONE SINGLE consumer good anybody outside their prison WANTED. Over two hundred million white people, and not one thing!
SDI was accompanied by some unknown security measures. The USSR, strained to the limit, simply could not compete with the West on breakthrough like this, any more than they could ever send a man to the moon. The legitimacy of the whole image of the USSR was threatened, and that image meant everything to the left.
What the left wanted was a world divided into a left and a far left. It was a well-known strategy called “Two Steps Forward, One Step Back.” The left would make huge demands and then settle for half in a compromise with moderate Republicans. They did not distinguish between foreign and domestic policy.
The left wanted all pressure to come from the left. That was the function the USSR served. If we didn’t appeal to the third world, the Soviets would. Each foreign policy initiative on the let, each domestic policy, had some reference to the Soviets. They used the USSR in the opposite way that they used Hitler.
This was not a world that the Birchers were capable of understanding. I had many a Mr. Webb to deal with then, too.

One, the CIA’s Internal Sovietologists knew this, and so did Anthony Sutton.
Sutton described this in a series of books that, for some reason, were not trumpeted by either the demonic Jew-controlled publishing industry, or the demonic Jew-controlled Mainstream Media, or even the Reagan Presidency.
They didn’t just get it from “spies.”

As I recall, once the USSR broke up, lots of those state owned assets were suddenly snapped up by the “Russian Mafia.” Hollywood movies even were big on the whole “Russian gangster” story. Then along comes Putin. All the “Mafiosi” fled to New York, L.A., and Isreal. Took the booty with them. Now Putin is a bad guy. Don’t hear much about the “Russian Mafia” anymore. I wonder why. Also, why did all those Jews keep backing a sure loser? Maybe they were running a feedlot. Why DO you fatten a steer before slaughter? Why provide support for a doomed creature? Or system? If Jews start supporting us, consider the “how.” We should know the “why.”
As far as leftist strategy, I think that it has allways been based on fear. A fearful man is the least thoughtful.
Consider what you state as the left strategy. Instead of “two steps forward,one step back,” it sounds like the “lessor of two evils.”
To a thinking man, the leftist choice is between one leg shackled or two. A thinking man would say “no way” to either. But throw in the element of fear.
The leftist says; “I am in power and CAN shackle both of your legs. And I will, if you fight me. However, if you agree to my demands I will only shackle one of your legs.”
The fearful man agrees to the single shackle. He never thinks about the leftists offer.
If he would have been THINKING, he would have realised that the leftist was dealing from a position of weakness and was bluffing.
Our enemies are paper tigers who win because most of our people have been taught to fear.
It seems that a large part of the whole “white survivalist” movement is based on the same premise.
