I’m just floating this, because I think the conversation needs to move into a more advanced domain.
Sometimes I feel that the whole trajectory that began with WWI has run its course.
Before WWI there was a very clear sense that the nonwhite world and the world of the Jews was a PRIMITVE WORLD.
It was understood that nonwhites (including Jews) were tethered to the world in a fundamentally different way, a primitive way, than they way whites are tethered to the world.
I the 19th century it was clearly apprehended that the world of nonwhites was a world of ghosts and unseen forces that ran with the land and waters and of spirits of the dead residing in soils and tides.
In the 19th century, whites understood HOW DEEPLY, HOW TRULY DEEPLY, nonwhites (including Jews) were submersed into a world of malevolent spirits and unseen forces and how their primitive tethering to the world shaped their response to life and everything about them.
Before WWI, whites had a COPING STRATEGY in dealing with the primitivism of nonwhites and Jews: Accordingly, it was clearly understood THAT NONWHITES AND JEWS WERE PRIMITIVE.
Somehow this knowledge disappeared in the trenches of WWI. After WWI, a popular pretense arose in the white world that Jews and nonwhites were capable of modernity.
That was the forerunner of political correctness and a great blindness descended upon the white world. That blindness persists today as much in white nationalism as in neoconservativism. White nationalists and neoconservatives have exactly the same inability: Both factions cannot fathom that nonwhites are tethered to the world in a fundamentally different way, a primitive way, RACIALLY FOUNDED.
THEY CANNOT SEE THROUGH THE “PRESENTING APPEARANCE” OF JEWS AND NONWHITES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT OF OUR TIMES TO SEE THEIR FUNDAMENTAL AND IRREDUCIBLE PRIMITIVISM FOR WHAT IT IS.
Whites have long been singularly exposed to this primitivism, blinded by their own long modernity and the world wars.
Accordingly, whites cannot see that the clever media manipulations of the Jews for what these manipulations really are: a form of “putting on magic” to an adversary according to the logic of a primitive mind that now is beyond the ken of whites to scope out (unlike in the 19th century).
Or regarding Islam, for example in Mesopotamia, white nationalists and neoconservatives alike cannot fathom that the Mosques, Sunni and Shiite, their prayer rituals, etc., run WITH THE LAND and are about THEY VERY SOILS UPON WHICH THOSE MOSQUES SIT AND THE “SPIRITS” OF THE SOILS BENEATH THEM.
Islam runs with the land, regardless of where the Moslem actually resides, and try getting the blinded white of any political persuasion to understand that. Good luck! You are going to get blank dumb stares back from someone who thinks you are crazy.
And there you have our fundamental inability.
Our can white people wake up to the fact that in the rising swamp of our nonwhite and Jew tsunami the real issue is their primitivism?
We need to get our 19th century goggles back on!
Other than to avail themselves of white technology, nonwhites and Jews are not going to become modern IN ANY GUISE.
It is a fiction that is possible. If it were possible, the world would not be racial, and the world IS racial.
Accordingly, I evaluate things by my very eyes and direct experience.
For example, my community is now predominately nonwhite. I live and work among nonwhites including nonwhite Moslems every day. Gradually, I am becoming able to really understand them, Jew, nonwhite, Christian, and Moslem.
THEY ARE PRIMITIVE, REGARDLESS OF APPEARANCES.
THIS IS NOT A “MENTALITY”.
INSTEAD, AT THE FUNDAMENTALLY RACIAL LEVEL, THEY ARE TETHERED TO THE WORLD DIFFERENTLY THAN OURSELVES.
I experience this fact directly in my intercourse with them everyday and everyday I say to myself, “My god, I’m back in the 19th century!”
Whites don’t need “white nationalism”. Instead, we need a COPING STRATEGY for dealing with the primitivism of Jews and nonwhites.
Perhaps “reservations” are the answer.
Not old style “Indian reservations”, but a new system recognizing the irreducible primitivism of nonwhites, a sort of social “eco-sorting” of nonwhite people out into the structures appropriate to them and away from our structures.
This could be done with nonwhites and Jews themselves having absolutely no understanding of what we are doing. We need to recognize that we, as whites, have a huge ambit of action available to us entirely outside the apprehension of our opponents.
I’m just floating this, because I think the conversation needs to move into a more advanced domain.
We need a COPING STRATEGY for the dark primitive world remains our enemy today, just as it way in the 19th century.
Young Again? No Friggin’ WAY!!

I forget exactly who, besides Pain, the brats… sorry, I mean, who the young people are here. But Pain is my star young pupil, so this is addressed to him.
First of all, don’t believe old people who tell you they wish they were young again. THEY may wish it, but YOU won’t. To a young, creative, feeling person, youth is a curse. Let’s start with your feel for reality.
When I was a lot younger than anybody here, in my teens, I was cursed with common sense and the ability to COUNT. So, for example, when someone said to me in the 1950s – yes, Kennedy did not invent it – that “We are a nation of immigrants” – the arithmetic immediately sprang to my mind.
I would explain that, according to Adam Smith in The Wealth of Nations, 1776, America’s population doubled naturally every twenty to twenty-five years. So a thousand people who got here by 1650 would be a million by the time the Ellis Island flood began.
I told people that fifty years ago. But fifty years ago I was preparing for my sixteenth birthday, as I am now preparing for my 66th. Ten years later, “a nation of immigrants” was the national motto.
What about the sixteen year old who explained arithmetic to them?
“Smart kid.”
But ignored. I was told that MY country, the one my people had conquered and held for three and a half centuries, belonged to Ellis Island and the brown America beyond. So Pain must explain this to others. And Pain must listen to the insanity no one with a brain could possibly believe. Pain must get used to the idea that selling out everything he loves is High Morality, the very essence of Self-Denial from the people who call themselves Christians.
Do I envy Pain his youth?
Oddly enough. I don’t.
Part 2, The History You Know is, by Definition, not the History You Need
The required prerequisite to the course offered here is one below. I will start where that ended.
We know the history of Rome’s decline and fall. What we need to know is how it BEGAN. Anybody can fall without studying history to find out how.
So, today, we know all about Ellis Island and the Pilgrims, but we know NOTHING about the people who actually went out and founded American institutions. Certainly the Massachusetts settlement was everything America was NOT. And I don’t just mean a society where everyone was watched as closely as in Orwell’s 1984, where the State war absolute in the most piddling matters and there was no freedom at all.
I mean something else as well.
The Puritans never LEFT Europe. By 1640, there was almost zero difference between the Puritan community people left in England and the one they moved in Massachusetts.
Ooops! Here comes The Greatest Generation to tell us that there was WAR against the Indians in Massachusetts. WAR, they tell us, is EVERYTHIG. The world is divided into Practical Men Who Know What Life’s All About, like them, and everybody else.
Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, if you had been in an American military uniform from 1941-1945, you had a far better chance of surviving those four years than if you had been a healthy male in mufti in England from 1641-1645. In fact, given the REAL causes of death in the REAL world at the time, people in Jamestown or Massachusetts in 1640, Indians and all, were safer than people in England.
Death then was from disease and hunger. NOBODY starved in NORTH American colonies then. The population was so healthy compared to the conditions in Europe that they multiplied like rabbits.
Anyone telling you about the Middle West will draw a line through the middle of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. What is south of this line, they tell you, was overwhelmingly populated by Southerners. North of the line was the rest. That is generally true. The Ashbrook family, NOT ASHCROFT! – came to Ohio from Virginia in the 1830s.
Lincoln kept saying that northern Illinois and southern Illinois in his day were as different as South Carolina and Massachusetts.
But remember, New England, and especially Massachusetts, were only a small fraction of the population north of the Mason-Dixon Line. New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, none of them tiny, were up there, too. And the rest of New England itself.
And also remember we are not talking about the West BELOW the Mason-Dixon Line. When you do the arithmetic, you will find that New Englanders who settled the West were few and far between. The Midwesterners who defeated the South in the Civil War were half Southerners themselves.
You can find New England settlers in Salem, Oregon. Hence the name. Puritan descendants tended to settle the West just as they had settled America, in clumps, in communities that would have been more at home in a Puritan English village than in Virginia.
Do the arithmetic. The Puritan Fathers were the fathers of very, very, VERY few Americans. How did they become our “Fathers?” EXACTLY the same way priests become Catholic “Fathers.”
Puritans settled in Massachusetts and wrote up a storm. Every history features them, not only because they won the Civil War, but because, like Rome in its decline and fall, there were endless sources there.
New Englanders, compared to the rest of the country, stayed right where they landed. So did the Ellis Islanders. If you want endless documentation abut how America was funded, all you need is a year-round ticket between New York City and Boston.
Notice how much alike WORLD history and AMERICAN history are? WORLD history is Ex Oriente Lux. Everything was invented right where the records are. The history of every LIVING country is buried under cathedrals and new cities and farmlands. By the most incredibly good luck, everything was invented right where everything died, right in the middle of the Middle Eastern desert where all the ancient writings are right at the surface.
American history had the same luck. America is Ex Oriente Lux. Just as all world history comes from the Middle East; all American history comes from Boston and New York, from the Northeast.
The History You Know is, by Definition, not the History You Need
Roman military might was developed in the early days of the citizen-soldier. The discipline that made Rome was not the Oriental slave-mass charging in with fanatical zeal, but a stolid, solid group of men, each with his shield against his neighbor’s shield, each one RESPONSIBLE, not to the God-Ruler, but to the man beside him.
While other howled around them, they just went straight ahead, a solid wall of shields, each one confident that he could do his job because the man beside him was doing his. It made the huge, shrieking wall of attackers into a mob. From that day forward it was said,
“A savage can beat a civilized soldier. Three savages can right toe-to-toe with three citizen-soldiers. But ten thousand savages cannot defeat a hundred citizen-soldiers.”
But Rome was never able to build a slave-army. So eventually the disciplined army took over Rome.
One of my favorite incidents in Roman history reminds me of early American history. The techniques of Roman warfare had been developed by citizen-farmer-soldiers who brought their own equipment. Their tiny semi-city had defeated the titan of the Italic Peninsula, the Etrurians, and the commanders decided it was time to take the war into enemy territory.
So on command, the Roman citizen-solders marched forth. They reached the borders of Rome. The commanders kept going. The soldiers sat down. They were there to defend their land, their own farms. The commanders were told to come and explain to them why they should get killed fighting on somebody ELSE’S land.
And before you go all gooey about this democratic feeling, be sure not one of the guys sitting in the road would have hesitated to fight to keep Roman slaves in line, whether they owned any or not.
But I like to have to have one critical point in each essay, and this is it:
By about the sixth century BC, when those citizen-soldiers sat down in the road, the Roman method of warfare was already fully developed. There were adjustments, but you could have looked at a Roman Army in action then and a THOUSAND YEARS later and, if you were familiar with the differences in armies, you would recognize the two as the same approach.
That is why Gibbon wrote “The Decline and Fall” of the Roman Empire. It had huge numbers of scribes from its height to its collapses, but we have no information at all on its BEGINNINGS.
In other words, we know nothing about the important part.

Dave wrote a piece recently WHICH I CANNOT FIND, in which he not only said the blog needs to get back to more elevated subjects, but he WROTE on a subject. That is 180 degrees from senile bitching from young or old.
Dave, I need your piece again.
Now, from Papillon (ladies first), Peter and Mark and Dave, we have a picture of what I need from YOU. We have to develop the ideas and we have to SELL the ideas. We have to do it all and we CAN do it all.
But on the action and intellectual sides in this case – though I’m sure their roles will reverse often – Mark and Dave show us what is needed. We need to stay in action ALL THE TIME (Mark) and we need to keep this site interesting and productive a la Dave.
BUT I AM NOT ASSIGNING ROLES HERE! I do not want any specialists here who are helpless in other roles. Mark provides intellectual food, but he went in when we were getting too theoretical and I expect Dave to know when he needs to do some ass-licking on his own.
Peter is the best generalist we have. The point is that nobody JUST bitches at Bob, which you need to do. But if I am writing what is needed, don’t flutter around like a mother hen doing the broken-wing act: WRITE. If I am letting laxity set in, KICK ASS.
And above all, DO SOMETHING!
Every now and then, as just now, I let things slide a little while, and it irritates the crap out of me that comments STOP. That is when we NEED for you to come in like Dave did.
If we get in our ivory tower, don’t just bitch at ME, do like Mark, take the onus on yourself, and KSA.
